Cat Sitters in Chitterne

Such a great couple. One of our cats is very nervous and doesn't take to other people but he befriended them to the extent he sat with them every night. They looked after our house well and we will certainly ask them again to sit for us.

Charlie has sat for us multiple times & is our cat Enzo’s favourite sitter. Enzo was so relaxed when we got home & it was clear he got lots of love & attention whilst we were away. Communication is easy, we receive daily updates & always return to a spotless apartment so she’s our favourite sitter too!

Renee and Yan were brilliant house sitters for us. Their communication was excellent and they arrived on time and kept us informed of how Inca and the bunnies were during the sit. They gave Inca lovely local walks and cared well for the bunnies. Many thanks!

Tina stayed alone to sit with Penny (the cat), she did a great job of giving Penny her medication. I appreciate that as I only recently moved house some house renovations are still underway and therefore a complete house sit pack was difficult to provide as the kitchen had only been fitted days before things are still finding a place in the house. I was nervous that Penny was still anxious in a new home but Tina ensured she was medicated and fed and updated me each day which reassured me.

Thank you to Carrie and Kushni for taking such good care of Elwood and our precious home. Elwood was very happy with your care and companionship. Carrie and Kushni are a lovely couple who took time to meet me before the house sit. I am so grateful to them for being so kind and caring. They messaged often which is great to receive updates. I would not hesitate to recommend them, they are considerate and caring individuals and our home was left beautifully clean and tidy. Thank you both and hope you can sit for Elwood again.

Jacqui arrived on time and came well-prepared. She is friendly and her love of animals is apparent. We were sitting another dog that day, so the three of us walked the dogs before dinner. After dinner, Riesling acted aggressively to her without provocation. We were all absolutely stunned, as this was unprecedented behaviour. Jacqui offered to sit for Siggy and Woodstock if we could find another place for Riesling to stay. Unfortunately, we could not, and arranged for a family member to house sit. We greatly appreciated Jacqui’s kindness and flexibility and have reached out to a trainer to help us diagnose what might have caused Riesling’s behaviour, and to ensure that it never happens again. We would absolutely recommend Jacqui to others.

Rebecca and her 3 children took care of our animals fantastically! They were all so kind and gentle with our 2 very old dogs and 2 old cats and were equally as kind with our young bouncy dog and 2 younger cats, pig and turtle. We returned to our tidy home with extremely Happy and well groomed animals! They had to do short walks with all of the dogs and then a second longer one with our young golden retriever and regular “toilet” trips outside with our 15 year old dogs. Would highly recommend this lovely family.

Mathilda, for her age has extraordinary breathful experience across several continents. She has the skills to adapt to problems arising and is highly motivated and intelligent, and is able to solve problems. She was very personable and friendly, and we felt that we really bonded with her, and certainly trusted her judgment and decisions while we were away. In our case, we needed quite a lot of care of plants and mushrooms, and this she took in her stride and understood the issues involved , we would highly recommend her to other hosts.

It was a real delight to meet Elaine and Steve,. They looked after our fur babies wonderfully and our house was so clean. They were brilliant house/pet sitters.

Marie, Johnny & Cerys were wonderful house sitters! Molly had an unexpected vet visit and they handled it brilliantly. Throughout the sit despite a time difference they kept us up to date with lots of messages and pictures, the house was left clean tidy and organized and we were welcomed home to a happy pup! Would definitely recommend as sitters :) thank you!

Beryl sat for us for just over 3 weeks and was the perfect sitter. Nothing phased her - even our tenant's terrier visiting frequently to see my boys! Lots of pictures were sent to us, which was lovely. It was an especial treat when, on return, Beryl had made a pot of home-made soup and left crusty buns for us which, after a long 2 day drive home, was so welcoming. The boys had obviously had a great time with Beryl and the house was immaculate. I would recommend Beryl as The Sitter to have. Jennifer (Vee)
