Everything about this sit was smooth, from Maureen's thoughtfulness during our initial communication, offering to collect me from the station, confessing that she'd been working flat out at making the house presentable following some redecorating, the response of the dogs to my arrival and the 24 hours of the sit. Rita, Morris and Magi were a delight to look after and I soon got used to their relaxed natures both indoors and on walks. Maureen and Steve had provided a very useful welcome guide and, over a cup of tea, proceeded to show me around the house and where to find the dogs' food, treats, walking accoutrements, etc. When indoors their log burner kept my partner and me super cosy. I would not hesitate to recommend this human and canine family for a great sitting experience.
Had an amazing time pet sitting Serena’s babies! Everyone was so welcoming and I had so much fun! Her 2 dogs Nala and Shiloh are SO SWEET, and followed my lead extremely well! All 4 of her cats are so precious and calming to be around! They were all so good at sharing space and were so quiet while I was on my laptop for my WFH job whether I was in the living room with them or in the office space she kindly gave me access to! Hospitality was AMAZING and I rarely left the house for anything! I’d give my experience 6 stars if I could!
I had a lovely stay at Louise and Ben's house. They were such a friendly couple, they made me feel very welcome. Nutmeg was a cutie, he enjoyed pottering in the garden with me and his daily walks, and then sitting with me in the evening. I will miss him! The house itself is in an amazing location in the hills on the border of Wales and Shropshire. Lots of lovely walks in the vicinity (in particular if you like hillwalking) and it is very peaceful and tranquil there, great if you need a break. It is not far to the A5 with easy links to places like Shrewsbury and Llangollen, and Lake Vyrnyw is also not too far away. As it is a historic property it was a bit chilllier than I am used to, but it was an interesting place to stay. Amazing array of birds n the garden. Thank you to Louise and Ben for a great stay. :)
Nova was an incredible host and made me feel right at home upon first interaction. We bonded well and what was meant to be a short stay turned into a pleasant experience and a new found friendship! The neighborhood is wonderful and friendly and Yo-Yo was a joy to have around, especially when he deemed me worthy enough to be a nightly cuddle buddy! Would 1,000% stay again and hopefully longer in the future. Can’t get enough!
While not new to housesitting, this was our first sit with Trusted Housesitters, and Hilary and her family made us feel right at home with a lovely dinner, conversation, and showing us around their magical property. Hilary was quick to answer any questions we had about the sit, prompt to respond if we had any questions while they were away, and Bertie was a joy to be around. Bertie is very energetic, and he will play with you all day if you like! He is a kind soul who is eager to please--overall, he was very obedient on walks and just wanted to spend time with us. He does not like the car, but I sat in the back with him and was able to calm him (once we arrived at our destination--the seaside--he absolutely loved it!). The house is old and charming--you can feel the character everywhere you go, and the local cafe is an excellent spot to relax and enjoy. Hilary and her family are truly some of the loveliest people we've ever met--that alone makes this sit worth recommending. We hope to be invited back and see them again soon!
Had an absolute blast at this housesit.Trish, Ash, the furbabies & their home were all so welcoming. They made sure we had everything we needed. Their home was so comfortable, beautiful & peaceful and the pups were extremely chill & very loving, we bonded right from the beginning. I would housesit again for them in a heartbeat.
