I am sorry, but I have to write it, Helen ends up staying more time in my place because I trusted her, and she seem to care about my cats. I regret it totally as she was negligent and my cat could have been saved, My cat stopped eating normally from 2 weeks she told me at the beginning , but also told me about the food I realized the food that was shipped wasnt the one that they like, so I sent the one they like and for 2 weeks she said nothing else for 2 weeks , she made me feel it was just the food ,from the videos collected after the death of my cat I realized my cat wasn’t eating much during those 2 weeks . She contacted me on Nov 9 to ask me if I’m coming on the 2 because she is leaving on the 5, so she wanted to stay more, what is so sad about that date is that I checked the recordings and my cat didn’t go out of the room the whole day she said nothing, I saw him struggling to move. But when I saw those recordings it was already to late. She contacted me again on the 10 saying that she doesn’t want to alarm me but that she was concerned about chino wasn’t eating. Unfortunately I was working in LA for 2 days and didn’t have time to check my WhatsApp, I just saw the messages on the 12 she’s saying he wasn’t moving, and he just stayed in the closet. I was so alarmed I started messaging her to take him to the vet immediately it was late, but I can’t believe she didn’t call me for something like these 2 days waiting not even messaged me on the page in this situation he should have been taken to the vet immediately. why didn’t she call me. So if I never get to see the message she will just let him die like that. My cat died after 3 days in the hospital, I feel like he could have had a chance if action was taken early and if I was precisely informed of the situation, Helen chose to ignore my messages sometimes before , and took this too lightly . She doesn’t know that cats need to be taken to the vet or take action fast. I don’t know if she was worried about the bill. I am so sad and still mourning my little baby, and with the idea that he could have been saved.
Selim and his partner Chantal were our very first house sit and it was such a positive experience right from the start. Selim even came to see us before hand as he was staying near by. Throughout the stay Selim checked in to let us know everything was ok and when we going to be late returning ensured all the animals were well looked after before they left.
