Susan
Janna and I spoke via zoom before selecting her as our house and pet sitter, and I was impressed by her thoughtful, well organized questions. Her stay taking care of our home and cat Nutmeg was very successful Janna was thorough in investigating all of Nutmeg's schedules, her likes and dislikes, our house information such as mail, newspapers, deliveries, etc.

She kept in touch with us throughout and sent pictures of Nutmeg regularly, and was thoughtful about our home. She was very neat and left everything as it was. I think she enjoyed herself and Nutmeg and we think Janna is a gem.

MARIE
Marie and James were so kind and made us feel right at home. They gave us excellent recommendations for local places to eat and explore and were always available for questions throughout our time there. We had a really great time getting to know them! Their apartment was cute, clean and in a nice neighborhood close to a metro station.

Fern is the sweetest and most entertaining kitty we’ve ever sat. She loves attention and to play, but also likes her own space. She always greets you at the door and even plays hide n seek! We already miss her and would 10/10 come back for this sit.

Clare
Thank you so much to Claire and family for giving us the opportunity to look after your pets and your beautiful house, which is in a truly stunning location.

Although we did not meet Claire's family in person, pre-sit video calls and messages during the sit meant that we felt comfortable knowing that we were well informed about running the house and looking after the pets both at the start, as well as well as during the sit. Claire's mum was very kind to take over from us on our final day: Thank You!

Ottie and Lochy are both very sociable and even though Lochy was not able to join us for our long, daily walks, she was very content pottering about the garden and always kept us company in the evenings whilst relaxing in the snug. Ottie is not only great company on walks, she is also playful and always up for a game of fetch!

The family home is beautifully decorated and has everything you could wish from a relaxing and restorative stay. The area is quiet and offers beautiful views across the surrounding hills, which also offer endless opportunities for walking, be it straight from the house or a short drive away. On a few occasions we took the opportunity to enjoy a walk and lunch out, and Ottie was no trouble in the car and also settled nicely when we took a break to enjoy lunch in a pub / farm shop cafe.

Both dogs are also very good with grooming and washing off muddy feet and bellies (Ottie)!

The three cats largely kept to themselves apart from Tyrion, who frequently came in for cuddles and snuggled with us on the sofa for a bit of TV.

Due to the location of the family home, a car is required for this sit, however you can find a nice dog friendly pub and a village shop/cafe, 2 miles down the road in the village or a bit longer by footpaths, keeping you of the road.

Thank you Claire for giving us the opportunity- we would Love to sit for you again in the future!
All the best,
Sirpa & family

Desiree
Desiree welcomed us in her home with open arms. She showed us everything we have to do around the animals and on the ranch. The instructions are excellent, really easy to follow and all of the animals are trained really well.
We loved all the animals, especially the old lady Thandi who was in the house with us.
Desiree told us that ranch has special energy and everyone loves staying there. That is definitely true!
Thank you, Desiree, for sharing your beautiful ranch with us and allowing us to take care for your animals. It was a pleasure!

Jane
Jane was the perfect housesit hostess, friendly and amenable. We had a video call to set up our sit agreement, then a bit of a running Whatsapp thread where we discussed the finer details! Jane was always wanting to be as helpful as possible. The house is in a beautiful part of Eastbourne and the two dogs are an absolute delight - no fuss about putting harnesses on or going out with the new sitter, very affectionate and loving dogs. The two cats were also very cool characters. The highlight of this occasion was that the family allowed me to have my own adult kids come visit me and stay over on Christmas day, which not every host can always find in their heart to allow. So heartily recommend these wonderful people and animals.

James
This was a first time housesit for James and Antonia but you wouldn’t know it. They were very laid back and welcoming. Their house was lovely. Well kept, tidy and clean.
And the location in Wiltshire was an absolute delight. Chocolate box villages at every turn and in walking distance.
But the stars of the show were Clover and Inca. Clover is an elderly girl and will happily spend most of the day on her bed unless a walk is on offer, when she has no trouble finding the energy.
Inca is a dog with boundless energy and will just keep going and going, wanting to explore every where.
I thoroughly loved this sit and would be more than happy to return.

Kathie
This was a great sit in a brand new upscale home with three gorgeous pets. Lola is a super sweet and cuddly cat that just wants to sit on your lap and purr. Finn and Huck are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. They are so smart and very perceptive, all they want to do is make you happy. They love to play and cuddle and will follow you everywhere. Very well trained and learns so easily.

Kathie was such a gracious host telling me to make myself at home, eat anything I want, etc. she left wonderful detailed instructions and even included a local trail map and a print out of their flight itinerary. She left tons of toys and chew treats for the the pups. They paid for two full days of doggie daycare to give me time away and give the pups some added fun.

Their home is brand new, nicely upscale and very comfortable. It had 3 acres of woods surrounding the house that the pups loved to investigate. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, I’ve never slept so good. The neighborhood is super safe, friendly and beautiful. Wooded trails everywhere, tennis, basketball and pickleball courts. Community Swimming pool in summer and river access for paddleboarding or kayaking etc.

I very highly recommend this sit to anyone! You won’t be disappointed!
