Mike and Jacquie have been wonderful hosts and we have very much enjoyed our time in their lovely home with their incredibly charming and friendly dogs Lowen and Inver. We will miss the company of both dogs and Mike and Jacquie and hope we may get to meet again soon. Inver and Lowen are easy to care for, they love long walks in the fields, energetic ball games and just cuddling on the sofa. They are friendly with everybody and are curious and clever. Mike and Jacquie's home exudes warmth and includes all the amenities one may require for a very comfortable stay: a large kitchen, Wi-Fi, tv, en-suite comfortable bedroom, billiard room, a very nice large garden where you can enjoy sunny days, bbq etc. We also had access to Mike and Jacquie's bicycles which provide for convenient transportation and exercise. The house itself is a 15 minutes bus/bicycle ride or a 10 minute taxi/car ride from Stratford upon Avon which is a charming town with plenty to do, supermarkets, restaurants, essential services.
What a wonderful pet sit! Eric and Kathleen were warm and entertaining hosts and Moose and Lil Ro will still your hearts with their antics and couch cuddles. Plenty of time for relaxing and peaceful contemplation; take leisurely strolls and enjoy beautiful sunsets off the Gulf coast. Any questions we had were promptly answered. We had a terrific time and will truly miss our two furry friends! We would definitely recommend this sit if you have the opportunity.
Mary and I can thoroughly recommend this sit. We met Kathryn and Charles before the sit and they made us most welcome and were very helpful with information regarding the pets, the house and the village. The house is full of character and set in beautiful surroundings. The five dogs are extremely well-behaved and respond well to the whistle when out on walks off their leads. They loved to relax with us on the sofa in the evening in front of the log fire while we watched TV. Dunning is a lovely village and has one of the best pubs I have ever experienced - The Kirkstyle Inn. Wonderful food and superb real ale. All in all, a five star experience.
It was a great pleasure to look after Rebel and Pancho and to meet James. I wish you all the best and hope that everything works out with the new place of residence!
We had a really nice time in Jane and Julian's house with their dog Arthur. Jane and Julian are very nice and friendly. We had to arrive one day before their departure because of ferry schedule and we felt really welcome when we arrived. They took time to show us the house and the garden, and the fields around where Arthur could play safely. Arthur is very easy… except when he sees a beach ! He loves water. It's difficult to take it out of the sea. But he looks so happy when he is in the sea that you can not be upset too long. Arthur is a very happy and funny dog. He loves exercising after balls or sticks but he is also very happy in his yard when you have to leave him. He is very keen on walking on the lead. I realize we've never heard him barking ! It was a pleasure to have him with us. We really enjoyed the place where Julian and Jane live. I loved walking with Arthur on the coastal path of the Rame peninsula, and Youn loved painting it. We really enjoyed the city of Plymouth which is very easy to reach with the ferry. To sum up : it was an excellent experience for us. And we would like to go again for sure. Thank you Jane and Julian.

Highly recommend Sam and Small Paw Adventures. Our cavapoo, Millie, had a wonderful two-week stay while we were on our honeymoon. Sam is absolutely wonderful! Our Australian Labradoodle Dougie attends day care regularly and has such a wonderful time. The relationship Sam has built with him is lovely to see and we trust her completely. Knowing he's cared for so much and has so much fun in the secure fields with the other dogs is so reassuring when we are at work. We would recommend Small Paw Adventures to anyone without hesitation.
Sam looked after our special boy in her home away from home for a week whilst we went on holiday. This was the first time we had left him with someone other than our immediate family. He got two walks a day and a lot of fun company. Safe to say he was tired and utterly content each day. Sam was great at sending through pictures and letting me know how he was getting on. Our hearts were at ease knowing he was being looked after by a loving and safe pair of hands.
I've been using Sam for our puppy for a while now and would not trust her with anyone else. Sam is always helpful, knowledgeable and above all caring. Molly loves going to stay or just going for a walk with her and her other doggy pals. I feel safe in the knowledge that she is well looked after and above all having fun.

Our Cavapoo Theo has been going to Small Paws since he was 12 weeks old. Sam is amazing and always makes sure Theo has lots of fun, exercise, learning and eats well. Sending Theo from such a young age really helped with his socialisation and training. He recently had his first experience of boarding with Sam for a week and had the best time. We never have to worry about him as we know he’s safe and having fun with all his friends!
Sam has been amazing with my dog, Bailey loves her days with the Small paw gang. I feel relaxed and safe knowing Sam is looking after Bailey while I am working. I work shifts and Sam is always accommodating at short notice.
Figo has been going to Sam for a few years and it’s safe to say she is the only person we fully trust with Figo. It’s truly his home away from home and we just know he has the best time with her and his friends when he goes to stay. Sam goes above and beyond in every way, from communication, the care she gives to every dog and thinking outside of the box with play time! Sam is thoroughly reliable, and will endeavour to accommodate at all times. She has taken such great care of Pluto, our 2 year old miniature Labradoodle, since he was a very young puppy. He always has such a fulfilling lovely time and comes home after a stay with Sam filled with happiness! 5 stars
Simon at Dog Day afternoons has looked after my dog a number of times. This has included walking, occasional day care and boarding. My dog loves Simon and clearly enjoys spending time with him. He can't wait to get out of the door. Simon has also helped me with vets appointments when my dog has been poorly and also administered medication when needed. I wouldn't trust anyone else to look after my dog and couldn't recommend more highly!
Highly professional. A true dog lover. I am very very particular about who I would entrust my dogs to but I trust Simon 100% (and my dogs love him) . Running my own pet service company I've seen many levels of care (or lack of) but Dog Day Afternoons is up there with the best. Simon is not someone who is in this for the money but for the love of animals. The fact he is very active against animal abuse and fights for animal welfare shows just how much he loves animals. I would recommend this service to anyone - and I don't make recommendations normally. And NO he didnt ask me to post this - I'm doing it because he's that good! You pet will be loved, cred for n safe in his hands
Simon looked after my in laws pets or should I say small holding for a couple of days. 2 Cats, 2 troublesome Pygmy goats, 6 chickens, 2 geese, 3 ducks and a pond load of koi carp! Simon managed it with ease. No hassles with very happy animals and in laws!
Cora has stayed twice at Mink Farm and we have been very pleased with the place and especially the staff. Her recent stay involved an incident resulting in an injury (they can happen anywhere with animals) but Mink Farm were brilliant, we had constant updates and pictures and everything was handled extremely well through Gabby and Rose. I will 100% use them again and wanted to write this review to reassure anyone using them that even if things don't go quite to plan your pet is in very safe, capable and most importantly caring hands with the Mink Farm team ❤️...thank you guys for looking after Cora so well x
My 14 month old Labrador Teddy stayed at Mink Farm for several days. He’s certainly had a good time. The receptionist and staffs are all very friendly and helpful.
Our dogs are always so happy to come and stay here. They come home happy and relaxed. We wouldn't use any other boarding kennels.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a top quality dog hotel for there holidays. We have a very hyper boxer puppy that we had left for a week and was worried about how she would get on. We picked her up and once home a total different dog. Although we are not dog experts she was so chilled and affectionate it was so good to see. The team at the kennels were very good and thorough. Having booked another holiday we have already managed to secure a place. Highly recommended!!!!
We trialled this facility recently for our dog, he stayed for 2 nights. We found the process smooth, stress-free, and very easy. The facilities are clean, spacious, and very well taken care of. We didn’t realise that we could request photos/updates so we’ll definitely do that again when we book him in later in the year.

If I could give more than 5 stars then I would. This place is brilliant. The staff are fantastic, they are all great with animals but are super friendly and kind. Used a couple times now and both times my dog has come back happy, healthy and not wanting to come home. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else for boarding my doggie. They give me peace of mind knowing my dog is safe and looked after when she’s away from me and bonus they are extremely reasonably priced. Great work guys!! 💜

We took our 5 year old terrier cross Miley to Mink Farm for a trial stay. Because of his temperament, he couldn't take part in the Play Day activity but was happy interacting with Megan who looked after him for the day. As this was the first time Miley had been to 'kennels', we were anxious as to how he would get on. There was no need to be worried and we shall certainly use Mink Farm again. First class care from start to finish.
We boarded our recently rescued Alaskan Malamute, Johnny for just 2 nights to see how he would get on. Johnny can suffer with seperation anxiety, but he seemed to love his stay! We were so pleased to see how happy and relaxed he seemed after taking him home. We looked round many boarding kennels before boarding Johnny at Mink Farm. I am delighted we chose them. It is good to feel our beloved pets are being cared for in our absence. From Johnny and us, thank you, will see you again in the future and highly recommend.
Bright Days/Andy is a passionate dog walker , he takes my dog once a week and she runs out to greet him with a wagging tail and big lick , Andy makes sure she has a great walk as the dogs are well matched with other dogs on the walk. She does get muddy, but it’s worth it, because she loves it so much! I get pics/videos and the dogs have plenty of exercise in the countryside! My cockapoo always comes home tired and happy! Andy is equipped with treats, balls, and first aid to deal with any situation and he has even delivered homemade dog biscuits at Christmas which was a lovely surprise.
Andy has been walking my two dogs, 5 days a week for a couple of years now, he is very reliable and my dogs love him. I am confident my dogs are safe with Andy as well as getting a good walk at a variety of locations. I have a mud lover, Andy always hoses him down and dries him off with a towel I leave out. I would highly recommend Bright Days dog care.
Andy has a calm, caring personality and loves dogs. Our dog, who is selective in who she bonds with, absolutely adores Andy and his family.

My miniature cavapoo has stayed twice now at posh dog boarding and I honestly couldn’t recommend this place more! Their communication is wonderful and constantly sending you updates. I am an anxious dog mum but posh dog boarding puts me at ease as I know my dog is safe, very well looked after and having a lot of fun.
So glad we found Posh Dog Boarding, we were so nervous after a past experience with a local Kennel. We shouldn’t have worried as the second we arrived they made us feel at ease, we had videos sent twice and Ziggy had a lovely time playing with the other dogs, he’s looking forward to coming coming back in the Summer in July for a couple of weeks. He enjoyed the journey home too 🤣

Posh Dog Boarding has been a saving grace. The staff are professional and my dog adored being there. With his most recent stay, my dog has become more social and almost refused to come home he loved his stay so much. We got constant updates and when I mentioned it was his birthday during his stay, Posh Dog Boarding made his day special. My miniature dog always looks happy and healthy on the video updates and when we go to collect him. I would definitely recommend Posh Dog Boarding to anyone.
The first time my 10 year old fur baby was left in a kennel! Well I’m delighted to say she’s still a happy bouncy little ball of fluff! We have been using Posh Dog Boarding for several years, our two dogs has always loved the staff, and are wagging their tails at every drop off, something that is very heart warming for any dog owner, especially when one of our dogs is very scared normally. The staff are always kind to share videos throughout the stay which is always so comforting. Warmly recommend!
We were anxious to find a nice place for our miniature dachshund Bailey to stay while we were on holiday. We saw Posh Dog Boarding online and loved the look of the place and the great reviews. We went over and met Carolina who was very welcoming and she gave us a tour which we loved. The place looked spotlessly clean, well run and with a nice room and area for each guest. Another thing that appealed to us is they only take a small number of dogs at one time so it’s not crowded. Carolina sent us plenty of video updates during Bailey’s stay and he always looked happy interacting with the other guests and was made a nice fuss of. We also booked 4 walks during his stay which he really enjoyed and also got video updates of those. We would really like to thank Carolina and all the staff at Posh Dog Boarding for taking such great care of our little boy and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for nice safe clean friendly boarding for their beloved furry friends.

Love Posh Dog Boarding! I was visiting from the US on holiday but also spending some time in my company's London office so I needed a safe & comfortable haven for my little princess, Billie. She's not the easiest of pups - a territorial and highly-protective-of-me mini schnauzer, so I was a bit worried leaving her for 4 nights. But she flourished. I can't thank the team at Posh enough for taking such excellent care of her! And I won't hesitate to bring her back next time I'm over! Posh Dog Boarding absolutely rocks!
This is the first time we have ever left our Pug other than with a family member since we got her at 10weeks and she's 7years this year. From the moment of booking through to dropping Ebony and collecting her after her stay at Posh Dogs Rosaleen was brilliant. Rosaleen made us feel happy, comfortable and confident in leaving Ebony in her care. Updates daily were great and showed Ebony was happy and comfortable in her surroundings. We booked Ebony in for a groom and on collecting her she was happy and beautifully turned out. I’m so pleased we found Vicky. Bonnie has had the best time with her and her pups, was so excited when we arrived and Vicky has given her so much love and care.
We feel so comfortable leaving our dog, Hugo with Vicky. Each time we have had Hugo boarded with Vicky, she sends us daily updates and photos, Hugo is always happy to go, he is walked daily and gets treated as if he is Vicky's own dog. We have also had to leave Vicky with medication and eye drops for Hugo, which she kept us up to date with and was religious with the eye drops. We would highly recommend Vicky to any dog owners who want the peace of mind that their dog is in a safe, loving and happy environment.
Vicky is an amazing dog sitter. Our dog, Lucy has stayed with her on more than one occasion. Every time, Vicky has kept us update with videos and photographs and Lucy has loved her visits. Lucy was walked daily and had lots of opportunities to socialise with other dogs. We would highly recommend Vicky.
Cannot recommend At Home with Moo and Boo enough. Left our puppy with them for two weeks and she received the most amazing care, even a day trip to a dog theme park! We loved the messages and updates we received, and the fact that Vicky would groom her daily for us too, was amazing! Will never leave our puppy with anyone else
Vicky is absolutely incredible and the only person I trust to look after my quirky rescue Nala. I have two dogs that stay with Vicky regularly and Vicky goes above and beyond to ensure they have a good stay. Nala has epilepsy and requires quite a lot of medication and is not the easiest patient, but Vicky has the rare ability to get the measure of her and her ways with great success. My other dog Alfie doesn't even look back when he goes to stay! I really appreciate being able to leave them both somewhere and not worry about them at all.
I wouldn’t leave my furbaby with anyone else! I have a Hungarian Vizsla, who’s a Velcro dog and needs 💯 % home from home stay, with love and cuddles.
