Wayne and Christopher are very friendly and accommodating and their place is super beautiful and literally 1.5 miles from the Capitol Building. You can rent a bike for $8 for the day at Capital Bikeshare and bike to the Capitol Building and beyond to see all of the monuments – so awesome! Their house was incredibly clean when we arrived and has tons of natural light which is really nice. It was a very comfortable stay and their house is all connected to Alexa for voice commands which is really nice. Bella and Bailey are two sweet little beagles who you'll fall in love with. They're quiet and overall very chill except when they get excited about food lol. They're both very cute and friendly and like to be around people. By the end, we found ourselves wanting to live in D.C. We would highly recommend this sit!
Looking after Billie and Alfie was an absolute pleasure. They are such calm and affectionate dogs that have very gentle natures. Although Alfie was a bit unsure of me at first, he warmed up quickly and we three had lots of adventures in and around Penguin. Malcolm and Heather were incredibly welcoming and kind, they made sure I had everything I needed and communicated really well both before and during the sit. They went above and beyond to help me. Their house is lovely and I was very comfortable there-it's close to the beach and the shops in Penguin, and the gorgeous view of the Bass straight was an amazing bonus! Thank you for letting me look after your boys, I loved it!
We had a great time at Matt and Amy’s wonderful home on Vashon Island. Teddy is adorable and we loved exploring the island with him. The home is spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. Amy and Matt are incredibly kind and great people, we felt very welcome and at home there.
Feline Heaven 😻 I had the best time at this housesit. It was so difficult to say goodbye to my new furry friends! Natalie was great. She quickly shared detailed notes about the cats and gave me the lowdown of the house. I felt very comfortable in this home from home. It's lovely with plenty of space for the cats to roam. I felt very comfortable here. While on this housesit I worked remotely. The constant company from Lucky, Pebble, Princess and Percy was amazing. I regularly had Lucky next to me (or on me) while trying to work! Leeds is a fantastic city. There’s so much to see and do. I lived here for nearly 3 years so took this housesit as an opportunity to see old friends and catch up with work colleagues. The area is a great base to explore from. Overall it was a brilliant housesit and I would love the opportunity to spend more time here.
I had a lovely time caring for Bebe in London, he was easy to care for and a great companion. He is a sweet fluffy guy who may act aloof at first, but once he warms up to you, he will happily request lots of cuddles and pats. Mary was a great host, and left clear instructions and was easy to communicate with during my stay. Her house is beautiful, warm and comfortable and with good public transport connections to other areas in London. I would recommend this sit and would happily sit again!
Yunus was the most delightful companion and kept me amused and entertained! Kabir’s home, in a safe and beautiful neighbourhood, was a peaceful oasis with the most amazing energy. The back garden was a wonderful place to be still and take in the fragrance of Spring with the perfume of jasmine and lemon blossoms filling the air. Access to Kabir’s well curated library was a gift. I feel like I have made a good friend and know our paths will cross again.
