Cat Sitters in Christchurch

Edy was a great sitter, our ‘boys’ loved her and despite some awful wet weather they had lots of walks. Lots of communication while we were away so no hesitation in recommending her to anyone looking for a sitter! Just wished she was available for our next holiday!!

Val and David were absolutely fantastic pet sitters. They looked after my two cats for 2 weeks in Zurich and I have never seen them so content on my return. They are such friendly and lovely people and my cats immediately warmed to them, even my grumpy cat! They took excellent care of them and gave me regular updates and took extra special notice of one of my cats dodgy leg. You could tell they really cared for them as if they were their own. They left my apartment spotless and also took care of my plants. If you ever get the chance to have Val and David sit for you please take it. Amazing cat sitters.

Sharon lives fairly close by and so we met each other a few weeks beforehand when she popped over to meet the cats. It was evident as soon as she met them that she was wholly concerned with their welfare. On the day we left to go away, Sharon arrived early at a time convenient for us and she was flexible when my husband had to return home earlier than anticipated. She’s evidently a very organised person, reading our welcome guide and contacting me when I’d forgotten something. Because she works from home, it was nice to know she would not be out all day and would be some company for our cats. She kept in touch with us, sent news and reassurance that Mitsy had been medicated. Our house was tidy and clean upon our return. Sharon has a lovely calm aura about her and instinctively knew I could trust her and she would respect our home; which she did in abundance! We would have Sharon look after our cats again without hesitation.

Brigatta and Tifani were great house sitters! They took care of our pets perfectly and left the house beautifully clean and tidy - thank you ☺️

Rachel was an absolute star sitter. Sully adored her and all the extra attention and fusses, and especially the adventures into the Lakes. Really easy to communicate with, and happy to make herself at home with minimal fuss, and left the house spotless and super tidy when I got home after a very long day. She even remembered to feed the fish, which I often forget myself! An absolute pleasure to host.

Bridget and Ian are absolutely wonderful sitters and we were really delighted they returned to us for this second sit ( and I’m very much hoping there will be future ones too). They are kind and caring and affectionate, I had lovely puss updates, photos, videos whilst we were away and our cat Sookie was completely happy and relaxed when we got back home. Bridget and Ian also tended and watered our numerous garden pots in the hottest week of the year so far. Communications are brilliant before during and after the sit. The house was super tidy, you wouldn’t know anyone had stayed. They are a really lovely couple and I will be trying to tempt them back again when we have a future sit need of the right sort of length. Can’t recommend highly enough! Thank you Bridget and Ian.

Marie was fantastic. She was easy to communicate with and the animals were happy and relaxed on our return. Would highly recommend Marie.

Aanka was fantastic - great communication, respectful towards our house, and most importantly, wonderful with our two cats. She cared for them lovingly, and sent us plenty of updates during the sit. I would happily welcome her back - everything was perfect!

Katie is an excellent house and pet sitter. It was clear that the dogs had been happy in our absence and she left the house clean and tidy. She kept in touch with us by WhatsApp and we could tell from having spent the evening with her before our departure that she would not be daunted by the responsibility of caring for the two dogs alone. Laura and Ryan looked after our beautiful Old English Sheepdog , for the whole of July, it was their first pet sit and they were fabulous. Coping well with a couple of health issues that arose and keeping up with regular medications and veterinary appointments for our old boy. They left the house spotlessly clean and even cooked supper for us on our return. Would highly recommend.
