Dog Sitters in Church Eaton

Philip was great with our cat and seemed a very pleasant, communicative and reliable sitter, who looked after our pet for 7 weeks. He was good at communicating and sent us regular updates. However, when we returned we discovered that he had used all our canned food, olive oils, kitchen roll, rice, loo rolls, fish and other foodstuffs we have yet to discover! When challenged he replied that I had said he could help himself, but conveniently forgot that I had added that he should replace anything he used, as we did not want to return to find there was nothing left. A 7 week sit is very different from a short one, where the use of a few food items would be more acceptable. He has not offered to compensate us or replace any of the items used, fully or partially, which we feel is thoughtless and selfish. We are really disappointed. In retrospect I should have sent text or other written messages to Phil to make the replacement of goods used abundantly clear.

Kelsey is a joy to have we are very fond of her and feel she is one of the family. She is so caring with our three dogs one extremely elderly but nothing fazes her.

Linda and her son Linton stayed a long weekend with our 3 year old and 3 month old labradors - and were amazing! It was our first time and we were a bit nervous as the puppy can be a handful, but Linda is very experienced, calm and practical and she and Linton enjoyed their stay. Our dogs were happy and relaxed, clearly well looked after, as was our home. Really great people and animal lovers and we look forward to seeing them again!

Laura and Lauren are so lovely and Rupert was clearly well looked after and received lots of cuddles so he was very happy. The communication between us was very good and I received lots of photos. The house was left clean and tidy and everything was in its place. I have no complaints at all. Would love to have them stay again …. 🤞and would definitely recommend them.

Kirsty and Matt are a really lovely couple. Very genuine and it was clear that they really cared for Rafa. He really took to them both and it was clear that he had a great time with them. They kept us well informed with lots of pictures so we were very happy knowing he was well looked after and content. Thanks so much to you both

Stephen and Barbara were fantastic house sitters and we returned after a week away to two very contented dogs and an immaculate house. They were easy to communicate with throughout and flexible and understanding. A really positive experience for all concerned.

We cannot say enough about how pleased we were with Rosie housesitting and looking after our two Staffies for a week. Communication was brilliant before, during and after the sit. She walked our dogs for miles every day and cared for them as well as we do. The house was left immaculately and we only wish that Rosie could sit for us every time we need to go away! We would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. She is a delightful person who we will definitely invite back given any opportunity. We spent our week away totally relaxed in the knowledge that our dogs and house were in her safe and capable hands. Thank you so much Rosie, you are amazing! This was our first experience of zeewoi and Alex and Tom were the perfect house sitters. Right from the outset they were super easy to communicate with, they were punctual with organisation and arrival and most importantly they were absolutely brilliant with our cats (sending daily updates). Unfortunately we had a problem with our boiler whilst we were away but they were very helpful and let the plumber in and kept us updated. They left the house incredibly tidy and obviously looked after everything really well in the house. We would 100% recommend Alex and Tom to anyone and hope they will come back and house sit again for us one day soon.

We cannot thank Di enough for looking after Ollie in our home. From the start Di was great in communication and preparation to make sure we were both ready for her stay. Di was really good at sharing how they were both doing. Ollie had the best of times on lots of walks, playtimes and relaxing. Thank you so much Di, hopefully (from us and Ollie) you can come and stay again soon.

We had great communication with Emma before she arrived and as soon as we met her we knew that she would look after Puss really well. She is very friendly and obviously an animal lover. Emma kept us updated with photos of Puss and news of what she was up to so we were confident that she was contented. It was great that we could relax while we were away and hope that Emma will sit for us again sometime.

Ian and Sarah are another level when it comes to pet and house sitting! Hastings (our beloved black Labrador) took an instant liking to them and bonded really well. Both Ian and Sarah went beyond the ‘call of duty’ when it came to his routine and feeding and Sarah spent time grooming him and generally pampering him all round. They made him very much a part of their daily lives so much so, he didn’t really want to come back to us when we returned! Our cherished garden was kept beautifully and watered regularly which can be somewhat challenging during hot weather. Some much needed weeding was done by Sarah and we were thrilled that the place looked so tidy and up together upon our return. Sarah was kind enough to mop our kitchen floor knowing that we had a house full of guests arriving soon after our arrival which was super helpful. All in all, we didn’t want Ian and Sarah to leave! I really can’t recommend them highly enough. They are a great couple and we feel we’ve gained a couple of new friends who we sincerely hope will return again one day.
