We had an amazing time staying at Jürgen and Alona’s place! We loved looking after Alex and we got to know each other as the days went by. He was so easy to look after because he would show and tell us exactly what he wants! He loves attention and we loved giving it to him (especially getting brushed :)). We loved taking photos of him and sending them to Jürgen and Alona, who were missing him so much. The apartment itself was clean, spacious and in a great location, away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. There is a nice view of the sunset in the evenings which we all enjoyed, including Alex. We only had the chance to meet Jürgen and Alona on our last day, but they were so welcoming and a super friendly couple. They even gave us some Ukrainian chocolate as a gift :D Thanks again for having us! We miss Alex already. Let’s stay in touch and hopefully meet again somewhere in the world!
They were a lovely couple very easy going the location was in a wonderful place good walks and plenty to see with the canal paths the dogs were well behaved and easy to look after
What a wonderful experience as first time THS sitters! Kyla is a beautiful well trained dog who helped us explore the local area with stunning walks just outside the front gate. Roland and Helen were very organised and always responded immediately to any communication. Their home was tidy and clean and a comfortable place to relax after a busy day exploring with Kyla. Roland and Helen were very generous and thoughtful hosts. Thank you for such a positive experience.
It was a pleasure looking after Henna and Juno. We took our young children with us and they were so gentle and friendly with our girls. Karen has a beautiful home, with breathtaking views. Karen was so accomodating and helpful when it came to us staying and caring for her babies. We will miss all the cuddles we got from Henna and Juno everyday.
Kathy, Howard and dog Ellie were just delightful! Ellie is an older gal and very easy going. She lounges most of the day but really enjoyed our short morning and evening walks. She also loves to swim! We really enjoyed throwing balls for her to fetch in the water. Kathy and Howard were fabulous hosts, giving us an in depth tour of their home prior to their departure and being easily available while they were away. Their home is beautiful and a water paradise. Kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming and fishing are just out the back door. And the sunsets and stargazing are spectacular! We can’t say enough great things about this sit, Kathy, Howard and Ellie. We’re happy to now call them friends.
Thanks to Emily for this first THS sit being such a great introduction. As others have said you’ll receive a comprehensive package explaining everything you’d ever need to know about looking after the absolutely adorable and unique Hank, Stella, and Diego – and the gorgeous space they call home. I could feel Emily’s overflowing love for them in our daily check-ins, and the place itself was super cozy and comfortable…hard to leave! Each cat has a distinct personality and all are so sweet, and very easy to care for. This is could be a great gig for someone with relatively less pet sitting experience - and though I have lots, Emily was kind enough to entrust me with her home and fur children on my first “official” sit. I hope to be able to return someday
