Glenda and Martin were amazing pet sitters for my 3 girls. Before the actual sitting started we made arrangements for Glenda and Martin to meet the dogs as the dogs are rather large and they can be a bit intimidating when met all together, but Glenda and Martin were so natural with them and obviously liked them from the start and our girls relaxed very quickly with them. Glenda and Martin stayed with us for roughly an hour getting to know how we handled the girls and how the girls responded to their instructions, and I think were very pleased that the girls were so good. We explained the differences in them and medication requirements etc. and Glenda and Martin took it all on board. We made a second date for Glenda and Martin to come back and take the girls for a walk as they are big and a sitter needs to know if they are easy enough to walk. The girls passed their test, they are not perfect but if you know of any problems and how to respond to them then that is most of the battle won. The day came for us to leave for our break and as usual Glenda and Martin arrived in time for us to feed the girls before we left as we needed to show them how the girls get fed, i.e. where they like to sit and they have to wait before they get the command to eat. All went well and off we went. During our time away (1 week) Glenda kept me informed with texts and videos and photos regarding the girls and they all seem to have got on very well, so well that I thought the girls would have their bags packed and want to live with Glenda and Martin. We would be very happy to have Glenda and Martin sit for our girls any time, they were clean and tidy and left the house as they found it. This was the first time we have used a sitter and found the proposition of leaving someone in our home a bit daunting, but have got to say that our sitters left us happy to leave our home and our precious girls in their care. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

Eleanor

Eleanor was just the best sitter and the loveliest person! A very interesting and intelligent woman, I would have happily chatted with her all night! (I’m quite a shy, solitary person so that says a lot about her warmth) It was all very last minute as Peggy was due to go and stay with a friend but she had an accident and had to have an operation so I thought it was better she stayed at home. Eleanor looked after her beautifully, followed all instructions diligently including giving medication. Peggy was very taken with her, Fiesta too who apparently brought her a delightful present of a mouse! (A good sign whether you like it or not!) Eleanor is the perfect balance of sensible, practical, caring and affectionate with the animals. She even comforted them both during a storm. The house was spotless and all the laundry done. I really couldn’t have asked for anything more, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her wholeheartedly. Eleanor I so enjoyed meeting you and I hope you’ll come again. Thank you from all of us x

Nigel and Gill are lovely, warm people whose utterly trustworthy and wonderfully calm and kind personalities meant that we had total peace of mind leaving them in charge of our animals and our home.

Yvette communicated with me everyday about my dog and sent photos as well. She is very kind and responded immediately if I had any queries. My house was very clean and tidy when I got home. My dog adored his time with Yvette and I would highly recommend her. She has made this experience very pleasant for my pet and myself.

Amy took care of Toshi and our house shortly after Toshi had gone through a trauma. Amy's care of Toshi and communication with us was perfect. Everything was left in excellent order and we would highly recommend her.

Jan and Steve settled spent a week as devoted and attentive slaves to HRH Kwabi, pandering to his every whim, grooming him til his coat gleamed and leaving him reluctant to acknowledge me on my return. Home and garden were immaculate, plants, including the greenhouse and pots, in excellent health and most importantly a happy, healthy cat. Jan and Steve dealt with a minor hiccup involving a garage door with efficiency and good humour and sent regular sitreps with photos showing just how much I was (not) being missed. If you are looking for the ideal sitters, look no further. Kwabi and I look forward to them coming again soon. Thank you so much, Jan and Steve- you were ace!

I cannot thank Caroline enough for her house sit. We left with easy minds as we trust Caroline implicity knowing everything would be fine and returned to a sparkling home and two very happy pets. Just when we think it can’t get any better…..this family is awesome! Their care of our donkeys and the cleaning of the “ donkey palace” was outstanding! They are wonderful people, raising outstanding children. We would adopt them all if we could. They have an exquisite sense of fun, duty, humanity, compassion, and adventure. Above and beyond flexible and committed. The house and laundry was all clean. Sigh…we’re missing them!

Andrew and Ray were fantastic! It was the first time leaving Betty the beagle so I was slightly worried but I had numerous updates and photos of her having walks and lots of cuddles. The cats were also in heaven with lots of attention. Andrew and Ray were extremely accommodating and understanding when we said we needed to come home two days earlier. The house was left immaculate and the garden had been looked after. I would highly recommend them to look after your house and pets. I will definitely keep in touch and book them again!

Gillian and Gordon were perfect house sitters . Our dogs were really well looked after with long walks and cuddles . They cut the grass , watered the plants and even planted up our vegetables patch . They were brilliant and we hope they will return

It was an excellent experience taking care of the girls at Nisha and Aaron's house. 
We spent a nice weekend with Scarlett and Autumn, they are very cute, tender and loving dogs, the house is very nice with everything you need for a very comfortable stay and the town is a very nice place with supermarkets, train stop, restaurants, pubs and more just 10 minutes walking from the house. 
Aaron picked us up at the train station and he and Nisha made us have a nice stay, they are very friendly and the communication is perfect. 
We highly recommend them, their home and care for their girls..
