You know it is going to be a great sit when the owner's notes ask you not to let the bird out because it will "escape, knock over a bank and take hostages".

Maddy and Dave are lovely people, and provided a good set of instructions.

The dogs Bob and Stan are great company, and the birds are easy to care for.

The house is a pleasant 15 minute walk from restaurants, bars and 3 bus lines.

Sherry’s home is roomy, quiet, comfortable, and very clean! Simon and Symone are both adorable, super sweet, and really easy to care for. I had a really pleasant stay during her recent trip – I was pleased that both cats were happy to keep me company while I worked, read, or watched tv, and they eventually even slept on the bed with me. I will gladly stay at Sherry’s again, and I would recommend other pet sitters looking for a relaxing experience consider doing the same!

I am grateful to have been asked to sit with Trooper and Skipper for my first Trusted Housesitters experience. They were such a delight! Trooper and Skipper had no difficulty adjusting to my presence, followed commands well, enjoyed attention and were genuinely fun to spend time with. Communication with Amy was easy and thorough. Amy took time to prepare a through Welcome Guide and to share information on local attractions/activities. If you are interested in sitting with 2 terrific dogs in a charming, small southern town, I highly recommend applying.

You cannot ask for a nicer home and pet sit than this one. The new kitten, Pearl, is a delight. She's growing so fast though, that I feel very fortunate to have stayed here when she was so young, sweet and playful. Iris is more solitary...she keeps mostly to herself, but was very low maintenance. The house is quite palatial, in beautiful West Vancouver with stunning ocean views. Stephanie was very easy to communicate with, and everything went smoothly. I would happily sit again for Stephanie and her family.

It was great from the very beginning.
Louie and Luna are so adorable, they love to play and are grateful for all the time you spend with them and in return shower you with a lot of love.
The peaceful area was ideal for taking walks and playing with them in the wide green fields, while everything I needed was around the house: grocery stores, a great coffee shop, a bar, as well as a library where I can work.
The house is well-designed and well-equipped, my room was great with an extremely comfortable bed.

I enjoyed my stay very much, my time there flew by, and now I miss them :-) It would be a pleasure to return.
Thank you Amy and Elliot, I look forward to seeing you again soon.

Eddie is a sweet ol’ boy! Scout is an absolute darling. Had a great time with these babies.
