We stayed in Nicola and Peter's home and had a fantastic little holiday. Billy and Lola are both absolutely gorgeous dogs and a real joy to look after, they have great personalities and are fun to spend time with. We both really miss them and would love to come and visit them again. We met their lovely owners, Nicola and Peter, just before we left who were kind enough to give us a lift to the airport. They are really friendly and made us feel so welcome, they'd even stuck an annotated map in the kitchen for us which was really helpful. The note saying "best beach ever" wasn't overstating things at all. It'd be great to visit them again soon too. The home is stunning and has a massive garden, there is a good supermarket less than a mile down the road. It's quiet, tranquil and perfectly located if you wanted to visit the Durrell Zoo. Though with Jersey being so compact, you aren't really far from any of its amazing beaches or stunning walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Perfect House-sitting experience.
We had a wonderful stay at Colin and Teri's and their home is very comfortable, in a beautiful location and they were very welcoming and generous hosts. Hannah and Lucy are both very sweet, easy to care for and adjusted very well to our company. It was lovely to have the opportunity to meet everyone before the house sit and Colin and Teri also took us out to dinner before they left and shared many great things to do in the Sooke area. We not only enjoyed our house sit but have also made new friends that we look forward to staying in touch with in the future. This was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend the opportunity to house sit for Colin and Teri.
