We completed a 11-day stay in beautiful Santa Barbara over Christmas 2021. Bob and Dee were a treat to work with from the initial FaceTime call, thru the sit to the follow up checks to be sure everyone was home safe and sound. This Covid-wave travel had us all a bit anxious, as there were borders to cross and planes to catch. We received a detailed guide in ample time and there were generous offers of pre and post accommodation and the use of the e-bikes made access to all things local, fun and easy! Bob and Dee clearly love their pets and home and the the efforts made to make our stay comfortable were 5-star! The rules of care for Mama and Izzy clear and thoughtful. We had a couple of hours for our walkthrough and noted the fire extinguishers and flashlights and all dry food and cleaning products were labelled and available for our use. Keyless entry made for one less worry and there was a great, current welcome guide for exploring the area. You will want a car for some of the hiking and exploring, but we had local family to help with transpo. Both Mama and Izzy were happy to share their space and we provided each other with company and entertainment! Be prepared for some Mama snuggles and Izzy games!
Oscar and Ollie are gorgeous cats with completely different personalities! Ollie was very shy at first but slowly became more comfortable being around me instead of hiding under the bed. These fellas love their treats and even Ollie will come running when he hears the jar shaking. There's a comfortable backyard where the cats (usually just Oscar) can roam as well as a nice patio out front. The couple in the unit downstairs was very friendly. I loved the decor in Elizabeth's home and enjoyed the calm neighborhood. Overall a fabulous stay!
My first official housesit and it could not have been better in every way (except perhaps the weather). Lavinia and Andrew were most welcoming and easy-going. They live in the most wonderful part of the Highlands, far from the madding crowd. I looked after Alec their spaniel, who was affectionate, full of energy and only disobedient in the most loving way.. The walks are superb, the scenery magnificent with the whole central Higlands on the doorstep. It will be very difficult to beat such a wonderful introduction to Trusted Housesitters.
I had a great sit at Simon & Julie's character property in the Stroud valley. The two cats were friendly & easy to look after & the fabulous hens pretty much laid 5 eggs a day. This sit is recommended if you get the chance.
This was our first time housesitting with Trusted Housesitters, and we had a wonderful time – so wonderful that we almost didn’t want to leave! Ginny was such a gracious host. She had prepared a wonderful welcome package with lots of information about the house, about caring for Katie the cat, and about things we might want to do in the area. We were able to stay in contact with her throughout the visit and she responded promptly each time. Katie the cat was so easy to care for. After the first day or two, she became very affectionate and would spend hours sleeping beside us or on our laps. She is a beautiful cat and vocalizes a lot, which we found very entertaining. Ginny’s home is just outside of Lexington, KY, and situated on 15 acres of land with two creeks running on either side of the house. Being able to walk the property, watch the birds feeding, see deer and other wildlife was a highlight for us. Her home is very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the sunroom. We would welcome a chance to housesit for Ginny again!
Mary was very communicative, flexible, and kind, her place is adorable if you're into peace & quiet. Bear is a very special, independent, healthy, and observant cat. She is very easy to care for but I can imagine her attitude can be challenging for some sitters (Mary told me about it in advance so I wasn't expecting a cuddly and chatty baby) but I truly enjoyed to observe the changes and how she warmed up more every day. I recommend that you too keep quiet in the house, and continue to chat with her softly every day even if she's hiding in the closet on your first day. She will stare at you and keep quiet but won't get defensive or aggressive. I almost burst into tears when she came to my room on the 5th or the 6th (I guess?) morning and followed me downstairs and hang out with me for the remaining days. Granted that it was only 8 days of co-habitation(!) which I don't usually choose. This was a last-minute situation that the pet-parent needed and I happened to live not far. I wouldn't hesitate to be back, just note that if you're into exploring the area, make sure that you have a car. If you don't, still, there is a wonderful small market and cafe next to each other within minutes walk. I'd consider this sit as ideal for a digital nomad with deadlines or a writer who needs to finish a book as there are no distractions.

I LOVED my experience. My pup was taken care of so great, I had to leave town for an overnight and they were able to help me last minute. Not only this but I got text updates of how he was doing along with some update photos to see my boy having the best time with his new friends! We rarely have to board our dogs, but we decided to travel just before Christmas and I was so happy to find London Ridge Pet Resort! Adriana is so friendly and very obviously loves sharing their home with their doggie guests. Our dogs were so well taken care of and happy while we were gone, and we loved the daily photos we received. I loved that they would have lots of room all day to roam freely and not be confined to a small kennel or crate for any amount of time. I’ll never take them anywhere else. My dog Charlie and I had a meet in greet with Adriana and her family. It's apparent how much pets are loved and treated like family.This place is great. Charlie felt comfortable and at home. The grounds are gorgeous very clean. Charlie is excited to come back soon
This was our first time leaving our dog at this resort and we were so pleased we did. Luca was welcomed with open arms, the playground is perfect for dog socializing, exercising and resting. Adriana was very helpful and kept us informed of Luca’s status. So thankful we found it, affordable too.
If you are looking for a place that feels like home for your pups London Ridge is the place. Our Goldendoodle loves coming here and playing with his friends. We have left him twice up to six days and feel very comfortable, knowing that he is well taken care of and gets the attention that he needs. Adriana is amazing and our pup Bentley gets so excited when he sees her. The backyard space is a resort for your pups. It is spacious, clean and they even have their own cabana if they want to hang out. I give this place five stars, and would definitely recommend to family and friends.

We needed a place for our lab to stay since our usual pet resort was booked. I contacted London Ridge Resort, Adriana was quick to respond, and luckily had availability. Our lab loved his stay because of the home away from home environment. We are so grateful we finally found a place that is close to our home and treats our lab like family.
The best dog sitting/boarding! We felt like our dog was open vacation like we were. She was so comfortable and excited to be there. Also Adriana was so communicative with pictures and texts letting us know all was well. Appreciate them so much!
My fur baby had such a a good time and was so well taken care of. This was the first time I had been away from her overnight and her stay was four nights. I was sent pictures while I was out of town showing how much fun she was having. They take such good care of your dogs and make them part of their family so I don't think my fur baby missed me at all. I'm going to start using them for daycare as well as when I go on vacation. Hello. We found Skys the Limit pet service on line after we learned that our normal sitter was unavailable. Our rescue dog is very much the homebody and prefers to be home vs anywhere else. I believe Skys the limit did very well this being my dogs first encounter. Their outdoor facility was exceptional. My dog was able to run and play outdoors. They provided many photos to show the dogs adjustment and interaction to other dogs. They were professional and required vaccination documentation upfront. I believe my dog to have had a good experience at Skys the limit. I will use them in the future.
This will sound fake, but honestly she can do it all. I’ve used her for boarding for my dogs, I’ve used her to go check up on my cat, she’s taught my dog to walk on a gentle leader because my dog was too strong for me and always pulling me. Not anymore thanks to Aki. She takes my dogs for walks around my neighborhood, she picks up to take to the dog park. She goes hiking with them for hours every Thursday. Shes extremely educated with the skill set to run her business with compassion and confidence. She sends daily pics and videos. She’s punctual and caring and my animals L O V E her. I can always rest assured that everything’s under control with Aki. She’s a real class act. I’ve been a client for around 4 years. She was recommended to me by a friend at the dog park🐾 We highly recommend her!
I found out about Sky's the Limit pet service because I needed someone to watch my two yorkies while I'm at work. I'm not really a fan of sending my dogs to a boarding place because of how many other dogs there are. So I contacted Aki and she offered to walk my dogs for me while I'm out and play with them in the house. She totally seems to love dogs and my dogs have become quite fond of her. I love how my dogs can be taken care of in the comfort of their own home and all for less than a lot of boarding places!
Aki is the best. By providing daily pictures and updates, we knew our dog was safe, happy, and well taken care of.

We had our toy cockapoo, Lady groomed here today. The staff was both friendly and helpful, and it was obvious that they treat your babies like their own. They did a wonderful job grooming Lady. I dropped her off at 10:30 and they had her done right after 12! So happy with our service and would recommend her to anyone! Also super affordable!
Best Buddies Pet Care is a great place to go with your dog to learn how to train him. They have a very non impactful way of training that is very effective. If you have a dog: old, young, or in between then go there and let them help you so that your dog will be happier and more secure.
Oh my goodness! Where do I even begin?! I am so thankful to have found Best Buddies Pet Care and am SUPER excited for their recently opened daycare/boarding facility. After the owner of Olive's previous daycare facility sold the business, we found that service with the new owner was less than desirable. So, on the hunt we went for a new daycare for Miss Olive and we came across Best Buddies Pet Care (B&B) and I sent an email inquiring about tours. Kimie was beyond pleasant and very helpful in answering my MANY questions. We went ahead and scheduled Olive for a complimentary assessment and a tour of the facility. The day of our appointment arrived and upon entering the lobby door, Kimie was right there to greet us and Olive loved her! The facility is sparkling clean, beautifully decorated and modern. It is comprised of a lobby, a grooming area, the main daycare/boarding room (cage-free with a television, an electric fireplace for ambiance, a trundle bed along with small cots for puppers, and a state of the art artificial turf potty area), and a back room that has seperate, gated off "mini rooms" (used for feed times and if a pupper needs some alone time). The entire place felt homey (not overwhelmingly large) and I love that their focus is more about quality than quantity. Kimie, thank you so much for taking the time and giving us a tour and answering all our questions. This discerning dog momma is so happy to have found you & Olive is looking forward to playtime and boarding with you again!

This doggy day care met beyond my expectations! I found the owner to be so knowledgeable about dogs, so caring, and so genuinely concerned for the well-being of my beloved dog. I was pleasantly surprised that my dog a Shih Tzu ,became adjusted so quickly to the environment. This business is set up entirely with the needs of the pet owner and the pet in mind. There are beautiful dog beds available, as well as a safe play area, structured with your dog in mind . I highly recommend the Fountain, Tiny Canine Care to any discerning pet owner. When I left my dog Mitzy there I felt a sense of peace knowing that this dog that means the world to me , was in good hands .

My girls really enjoyed staying there for the first time. They stayed a week and were very timid at first but eventually calmed and relaxed. It definitely helped seeing posts of my girls on Instagram periodically and see how they enjoyed the pool and their stay. I’m definitely boarding them again in the near future. These pictures are adorable of my baby girls.
I have used Heavenly Pet Resort many times and left with the feeling my dog was in good hands.The reactions I saw in my dog after picking her up, could have been just the newness of being back home. She was very thirsty when she did get home. But like that old saying "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink", I think this fits my dogs reaction to being home. Plus she finally settled down after 4 hours of us reconnecting, took a breather and a nap. But, all being said and done, this is a caring and friendly place for furbabies.
This place took great care of my pups while I was gone on vacation. My 2 pit bulls looked good at pick up after they got their bath. They boy had a cute fall bandana on and my girl had a cute flower attached to her collar. They both seemed happy. Thank you for taking good care of my pups while I was away. I was in need of a last minute place to keep my puppy at while we had renovations done to my home and remembered this place was right down the street from where I live. They got my little puppy Ozzy in and picked him back up 2 days later. The front desk staff not sure of their names but the girl with the black hair thank you for being kind and helping me with checking ozzy out and also to the other front desk worker thank you for booking ozzy in for his stay. I'll Definitely be going back to you guys soon .
Poor customer service skills over the phone. I was looking to bring my Dogo because I saw a wonderful video of a Dogo swimming at their facility. I call them up and I was told they don’t take his breed. I tried explaining to them what I had saw on their social media and google. The person at the desk tried to tell me it was a Great Pyrenese I saw. Thats when I realized this place isn’t the right fit if I want my dog well taken care of especially if they can’t tell the difference between a Dogo and Great Pyranese. The facility looks enjoyable but I won’t be recommending any of my new pet parents/clients to board their dogs here due to the lack of professionalism over the phone.

Great place. A little nervous leaving Coco for the first time. But she was clean and happy when we picked her up. She even gained a couple of pounds (that she needed). Overall great experience.
When we first moved here, we needed reliable and trustworthy dog walkers to help make sure our dog got walks while we were taking care of our newborn baby. Gabby and Sebrina were our 2 main dog walkers - they were both so reliable, communicative, and kind to our dog. Our dog got so excited every time they came, and we always looked forward to reading their journal entry and seeing their photos from their time together. I could not recommend them enough! I included some of the photos they would include from their walks :)
I have had such a pleasant experience with Fetch for the past year. Initially, we worked with Javier to help our puppy learn important commands and leash training. Afterwards we relied on Gabby to do pet visits in the afternoon while my husband and I were at work. After each visit they will give a detailed description about whether my dog went potty, the distance of their walk, and that they gave her fresh water (along with adorable photos of my dog during their visit). I feel so lucky to have found Fetch because they have taken such good care of my dog and have really helped my husband and I be responsible dog parents. We love you, Fetch!
We’ve been using Fetch for pack walks and loving it! Gabriela is the sweetest and understands our dog can be shy at first. She takes the pack out for a walk around town or a hike in the mountains, and it’s been a great socialization tool and confidence building for our dog. I also love that they do a pre screen to check the dog’s temperament before enrollment so I know they keep our dogs’ safety top of mind. The app and site are also user friendly and I trust the team 100%. I mean look at how adorable the pups look together!
I have been using Fetch Monrovia for over a year and had Gabby as the dog walker for my two poodles. I can’t ask for a better walker than Gabby. She’s excellent at communicating and always took the best pics for my boys.
I needed help walking my dogs on days that I work longer hours! Walking in to Centinela Feed Pet Store and finding the brochure for Fetch was an answer to my prayers! I was soon connected through the office with Gabby! She is reliable and great with my boys! I never have to worry about the care they are going to get when she comes! She gives them a nice walk and has taught them good manners! I appreciate the training and exposure to other people and dogs while I’m away!!
Sandy and her team are wonderful! They have a love for what they do that comes accross in how they work with clients and their fur babies! I also have to give a shout out that they were able to make a last minute request happen. My puppy Corgi has a ton of energy and I knew I wouldn't be able to focus during my meeting. They walked him and got his energy out, sent me pictures and an outline of where they walked and he took an amazing nap afterwards! Thank you to Sandy and her team!!

I found Fetch! On instagram because I needed help with training of my German Shepherd that was 8months old. I sent them a message about their services and I wanted help with. Sandy responded quickly and referred me to their app. She set me up with a class nearby that would help with puppy and reactive behavior training. Javier the trainer was welcoming and polite and at the same time honest. He thought me how to properly walk and work with my dog. After a few now I see great results and I continue to use the service. I even recommend them to people I meet while I walk my dog. Fetch! Does a great job and care about their clients. I strongly encourage people to use their services.
This is the BEST place… it has everything you need- grooming - day care - boarding and training. My husky is now a senior and I wanted to find a groomer that would be caring and considerate of her needs and still do an amazing job … Larrissa is this person… I have never met a more caring and knowledgable person. My dog was immediately comfortable with her and everyone she met there. Also it did not take alllll day like at most other groomers. My dogs nails and fur never looked so good… and my dog was super comfortable and happy! I will be coming back there !!! I am sincere about this review… this is one of the best kept secrets…there are many places I could go that are closer to my home but this is the best place with the best people. I was very please with the hospitality and customer service I received at DogOnFun boarding service. This was a last minute thing and first time experience for me. I am please to have met Samantha. She answered all my question, coach and walked me through it. to add, I had to catch a flight out of LAX within 24 hours, so she went out of her way to find a animal hospital that day for me, that would would verify and certify the on boarding vaccine requirements at a low cost and then accommodated me and my boys after hours for delivery. To ease my worries, she promised me daily photos and text status updates. To accommodate my boys, abandonment issues, I receive daily photos from Nancy, the care taker, of my boys having fun and what appeared to be a play area. This made it easier on me, while I was away for seven days. When I returned, I was running late at night due to the L.A., traffic. Samantha said, no worries, she understood the importance of the first time reunion and accommodated me once again, with after hour pick up. When I picked up my boys, I paid attention to see if they were distress at all. They showed no signs, so this tells me, they had a good experience and would not be afraid to return, my next go round. Due to my wonderful experience, DogOnFun are my preferred Boarding partners. I thank Samantha, Nancy and Team for providing such a professional services.
My dog Deuce and I have been coming to Dog On Fun since 2012, and have seen changes in the name as well as three changes in ownership. All the owners have been great in their own unique way, but Samantha is by far the best, as well as my favorite. Her and her staff go above and beyond to take care of Deuce. Deuce has special needs, and can sometimes be a grumpy old man. Samantha and her crew always make sure that he gets all of his medication, even when he is being stubborn, and he doesn't want to take it, or eat his food. Despite Deuce’s grumpiness, the staff at dog on fun always made sure that he got plenty of exercise and plenty of love. When he was temperamental, with one worker, another worker would take their place and care for Deuce. They always make sure that he has a pillow since he has had two hip replacements and also suffers from Degenerative Myelopathy. I would highly recommend Samantha and Dog On Fun to any and everyone, especially those with difficult dogs. They are patient, they are kind, and they are more than capable of dealing with the dogs, and ensuring their happiness and their well-being.
I used Dog On Fun for my baby boy and we both loved it! He was there for 10 days. They did lots of exercising in the early hours of the day so the dogs don’t get over heated. All dogs are kept separate to make sure there is so unwanted dog fights. Staff is very nice and knowledgeable! They will even send you daily pictures of your pup! Would definitely recommend this place to everyone!
I can't recommend Dog on Fun enough! Samantha and her team absolutely love dogs and know how to take care of them. I have a 106 lb German Shepherd who can be quite the handful, but they've had no problem with him. My dog also seems to really like them as well. Finally, the team there is very accommodating. I brought my dog here as I attended funeral services for my grandparents and they were able to organize an early drop off or late pick-up as I needed it. The entire team is extremely friendly and helpful, plus they know exactly what they're doing. You will not regret leaving your dog in their care.
Full disclosure, I'm a relatively new dog mom! That said, I owe a great deal of thanks and praise to Dog on Fun! Samantha has been incredibly supportive, kind, and generous with her wealth of knowledge. My little guy has LOTS of energy and he LOVES going to daycare! He even starts getting excited when we head over! Sometimes he doesn't want to come home! 🤣 I don't take it personally, though. It just signals to me that he enjoys his time with the caring staff members. I appreciate the time they take to meet his needs, to make sure the kennel is sanitary and clean, and to send back his food bowls squeaky clean! I can't imagine taking Cash anywhere else. They are an integral part of our village and I'm grateful for their services.
Do not leave your dog or dogs hear for boarding. There stay was only 2 nights. My dogs received eye/face trauma. My vet diagnosis is suspected trauma. The sign/evidence is the blood in the white part of the eyes. Both of my dogs have the trauma. One has it in both eyes the other is one eye. As well now one of them is skittish towards men. He was not like this before. My husband interacts with him all the time. This has deeply hurt our family. We no longer trust any boarding/kennel. I will get a dog sitter in the future to make sure they are treated properly.
My dog Xena has been coming here for alittle over 7 years. She loves this place and the people that work here. I admit I was sad to hear Shireen was no longer going to be the owner but Samantha is as good as Shireen was. They love your furry babies as much as you do. I will recommend this facility to anyone looking for a great place to leave your dog.
I work long hours, so I take my dog, Rogue, to Dog on Fun a few days a week. Samantha is extremely flexible, which is very important with my ever-changing schedule. The staff at Dog On Fun treat Rogue like a member of their own family. Rogue is a high-drive German Shepherd puppy who requires lots of exercise and loves to destroy everything she touches. Samantha and her staff always ensure Rogue has plenty of toys to keep her occupied. They are so sweet that, on occasion, they have bought Rogue toys they figure she would have a hard time destroying. Rogue has ripped up a few pillows at the kennel. This week, Samantha got Rogue a special rug (hoping she wouldn't destroy it) and a chew treat to keep her mouth busy. The thoughtfulness and love Samantha and her employees show Rogue keep me coming back time after time. Dogs On Fun is a little out of the way for me. However, I drive a few cities over to take Rogue there because I know Rogue is in good hands when she is there.
We have been coming for about a year, and I would give six stars. Staff is super friendly to me and my furry beast, and really seems to love dogs. I get regular pictures of our dog’s adventures during his stays, and our dog always seems happy when we arrive for another visit! I always feel like he is in good hands when he is at Dog on Fun - thank you!
