Rose has been our go-to pet sitter for three years now. We have two large male house cats. Rose provides peace of mind while we are gone, in part because she posts us by text early each morning with a short report on that morning's visit and how the cats are. She also makes written notes on each visit and leaves them for us. She is careful and conscientious and very easy to work with. We have never had a problem with her service and recommend Always Available whole- heartedly.

Rose watched my two boxers for me. It was somewhat nerve wracking having a non family member watch my girls. But Rose is very professional and thorough. During the meet and greet my dogs seemed to settle fairly well with her presence too. She texts a picture and update every day. Would definitely use her again!

I recently used always available pet sitting for a long weekend away from my pet. Rose was fantastic. She was very thorough on what services I should expect & walked me through everything. I received photos of my kitty every day that I was gone & even came home to a very cute thank you card and notes from each day she visited with kitty. Excellent service. I will absolutely be working with Rose again. Highly recommend if you need to head out of town and can't bring your fur babies along for the trip.

I recently had Rose watch my eight dogs (two large dogs and six small dogs) and my two cats. I was gone overnight and my pets are not used to this. However I am pleased to say that my pets have taken kindly to Rose and they were well taken care of when I was gone. Rose sent text pictures with each of her visits. Unfortunately she had to clean up after one of my dogs but the place was immaculate when I got home. I highly recommend rose for pet sitting and I plan on using her in the future.

We highly recommend Rose, Always Available Pet Sitting. Right from the beginning Rose was organized and business-like, taking note of the names of each pet, the amount of food, times of day to be fed, locations for food, treats, etc. Rose cared for our 4 dogs and cat for 9 days while we went on vacation. She did not hesitate to come an extra day when our flight was canceled last minute. Rose did a lot more than just feed our fur babies. She spent time playing with them as well as watching their behavior to make sure they got along and played together safely. (We have 3 large dogs and a small beagle.) She even called us to make sure we were comfortable with what she saw. She left notes from each day and also texted us notes and photos. It’s clear Rose loves animals and has experience with animal behavior. We felt so much more at ease on our vacation knowing Rose was watching our pets. We will be using Rose’s services again.

I am so thankful to Vickie at BOW -WOW PET SITTING!!! I am the kind of dog mom that puts my 2 boys Doug and Rusty (dachshunds) above myself. I set my house up so that THEY are happy and comfortable. I have a low bed,, doggie ramps everywhere and there are dog toys all over. I would say that they are a little spoiled ❤️🐾🐾❤️ I only trust a few people with my dogs. I recently moved to Fair Oaks. I searched online for pet sitting and called Vicky, the owner of Bow-Wow pet sitting and boarding. I asked many questions. I then looked at her reviews on Yelp and decided that I would give her a call back. She was able to take my dogs the next day. She was so great! My dogs were barking and have separation anxiety. I immediately felt comfortable with Vicky. She is very kind and obviously loves animals. Her house is set up perfectly - she can separate dogs if necessary but still see them, they are not locked away in a closed room. She had a big wonderful yard to play in. When I picked up my boys they were happy and not stressed. Now they WANT to go there! Even though I'm done moving I intend to to take them to Vicky's at least once a week because they love her and I don't take them in the car and leave them when running errands. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND VICKIE AND BOW -WOW PET SITTING!!! She is reasonably priced and very accommodating. ******************!!!!💕

I am appalled at the neglect and inhumane treatment of my dog. We left my dog Roxxy there for the weekend over 4th of July. We made sure they were aware she was a rescue dog with anxiety, and we were guaranteed that our dog would not be left alone during the fireworks. After we got our dog home, that night we realized her mouth was severally injured. Apparently, she had been left outside in a metal crate during fireworks while the owners of Bow Pow Pet sitting went to the liquor store, and tried to chew her way out causing the damage to her mouth. Multiple teeth had been broken off, her gums were destroyed and she had literally chewed so long and hard the bone of her jaw was damaged. We were never notified that our dog had been injured under their care, we had to wait to find out when we got her back, and with the extent of the injury being as bad as it was I have a hard time believing there were no signs of blood or injury when it happened. The surgery to fix my dog's mouth was over $3,500, which Bow Wow Pet sitting never even tried to repay. I felt the owners of Bow Wow pet sitting were unprofessional and down right negligent to have let this happen. To top it all off, after multiple complaints from us they still have pictures of my dog on their website, against my approval, to advertise their business. Usually I am not one to write angry online reviews but I feel strongly that they were negligent towards my dog.

My dogs were well taken care of in a family style environment. Both had individual needs and their needs were well taken care of. Was so pleased with the great care both dogs received! Recommend!

Great attentive people who are dedicated to every animal they come across. Reasonable prices for the amount of service you receive. They always go above and beyond for their customers and our pets.

I seriously cannot recommend Camp Bow Wow enough for your pups. I recently went on vacation where I had to put my pup in daycare (first time ever doing that) and let me tell you - Watching my girl on camera and seeing how happy she is here warmed my heart and made missing her a little bit easier. The team was great about communication, organized and made sure everyone was safe and happy. It made going on my vacation so much less stressful knowing she was in good hands. Doggie Daycare & Boarding(Staycation) are highly recommended by our Sasuke & Sumo. The staffs are amazing & super friendly. Communication & response are phenomenal. They take care of our fur babies while we are away or out of town. I feel at peace that our babies are in wonderful hands & caring hearts.

I love how much space for the dogs you have. That there is an indoor & outdoor area for them. I love how well trained everyone is and that safety is a top concern! That there is a veterinary right next door puts a lot of ease to me mind. I really like you offer grooming, and one-on-one time for dogs as well! Also Luna, our dog, had a blast there!

Highly, highly recommend!! My fiancé & I have a little 6-month-old Yorkiepoo, Pepper, who needs full-day care 2 days/week -- I couldn't be happier with Camp Bow Wow! They were super communicative & kind from my 1st contact with them. Seth in particular is great -- he was very welcoming & knowledgeable when we brought Pepper in for her 1st interview day. He also remembers her name & talks to her so kindly every time we drop off & pick up. Prices are great, especially the packages. Some of them come out to being $33/day, which is miles cheaper than any dog sitter, & your pup gets to play all day with doggie friends! They offer cool add-on (still very affordable) enrichment programs that would be great for any pup -- snuggle time for nervous/cuddly ones, play time for high-energy ones, & a lot more! They also send you pics of enrichment if you choose to do one, which are way too cute (I added some of when Pepper did snuggle time!). I also love the cameras; I check in a few times a day & it helps me feel at ease to see Pepper sniffing around/napping/playing. It always warms my heart when I get to see a staff member in the play rooms too -- they are all gentle & kind, & give out tons of pets. Organized, efficient, clean, & caring. Couldn't ask for more! Camp Bow Wow in Fair Oaks is a warm and sefe place for our new rescue chihuahua mix. The staff is so friendly! Our dog loves going. He starts yelping with excitement as soon as we turn into the parking lot, and he is always greeted by his name. We highly recommend Camp Bow Wow for your pet daycare needs.

Friendly place. Folks here cared for my pooch for the day. The best thing I liked is on their app. You can monitor your dog via video cam. When a dog used the restroom, staff immediately cleaned the waste, then mopped the area. Staff was always present.

I’ve had my dog at daycare and boarding here. The counselors are attentive and interacts with the dogs in their care. Love that they have an outdoor and indoor area for dogs to go between, weather permitting. The webcam is a plus though a bit buggy in the app.

I really appreciated the time and details in testing dogs for camp. It is very thorough and gives a peace of mind. Plus the staff were amazing!

Fantastic group training services. My beginning group had only 3 dogs in it and with 2 trainers, it was practically individual training. Both trainers are very friendly and want what's best for your dog. My dog and I learned far more at 6 beginner training sessions with the Nature of Dogs than my previous dog did at 12 beginner + intermediate training sessions at one of the big, nationwide pet stores. I highly recommend the Nature of Dogs training!

My dog Bear loves going to The Nature of Dogs! It has a huge outdoor space for all of the dogs to play. Young or old, big or small they all get to hang out together. There is also a nice indoor space when the weather does not allow them to be outside. The staff is really friendly and very knowledgeable. They give him lots of love and attention. I completely trust them with the care of my fur baby.

The Nature of Dogs is the best doggie day care out there! The new owners are SO great. They are dog trainers and have so much knowledge and patience. The expansive 1-acre play area is perfect for our dog to run off her energy and play with other dog friends! The staff love every dog like their own and we know ours is in good hands when she’s there. The day care offers generous packages, along with half day or full day options. My dog is tuckered by the time she gets home from a full day of fun but I love to to have the half day option when needed. I HIGHLY recommend them! You won’t be disappointed! :)

My two German Shepherds love coming to The Nature of Dogs! They have been attending this daycare since it opened last year. The outdoor yard is quite spacious and has many play equipment for the dogs to climb and enjoy. During the hotter months, there are misters and kiddy pools available, which keep the dogs cool. On rainy days, the indoor facility keeps the dogs dry and entertained with various toys and climbing structures. One of the reasons why we chose this daycare is that each dog is required to pass an assessment before attending. This is comforting because we know that our dogs are interacting with other friendly and non-aggressive dogs. Another reason why we chose this daycare is that one of the owners, Deric, was our dog trainer for our dog Bear. Since he had already established a strong rapport with Bear, we knew that our dogs were in good hands. Both Deric and the other owner, Myra, have extensive experience working with dogs. Deric runs a dog training business and also helps out with a dog rescue, while Myra is a part of a dog rescue group and fosters some of those dogs in her own home. Deric, Myra, and the rest of the daycare team have shown a strong level of care for our dogs, and we are so grateful to have found such a fun and stimulating daycare for our furry friends! I highly recommend bringing your dog to The Nature of Dogs!

A hidden gem in Citrus Heights, this dog care day center is tons of outdoor fun for our big boy. The staff are highly knowledgeable and caring. I always feel comfortable leaving our dog in there. Great for socializing your dog in a controlled environment.

My pup lives for his days at The Nature of Dogs daycare (formerly Waggin’ Tails). Deric, Myra and the whole team are fun, caring and knowledgeable. They put an emphasis on the safety and harmony of “the pack,” and have a host of activities throughout the day to keep the dogs engaged and happy. I highly recommend them - particularly if your pup has a low threshold for boredom, as mine does!

Like many dog owners my GS/Lab mix Lucca isn't just a dog he's my family. Lucca has received training from co-owner Deric and now he's a regular at The Nature of Dogs. Both owners here are trainers, they work with rescues and foster. The Nature of Dogs provides Lucca with a safe place to run, fetch, play with his friends and even rest when he's ready to in a positive, structured environment From the owners to their staff they understand dog behavior and they understand that I'm entrusting them with a member of my family. The pack consists of Dogs of all sizes and breeds and watching them all play together is my favorite part of my day. My puppy and I love The Nature of Dogs!!! Rafik is well cared for, training advice is given, and lots of attention and play. The trainers are knowledgeable, have patience, and are so friendly. On the way home from daycare, Rafik looks out the back window and cries the whole way home every time. He always wants to go back.

Cindy is taking care of our 2 cats now for quite some time now. They love her and she sends us pictures and short videos every day. She’s taking great care of the cats and our house too. She is very thoughtful and thorough and trustworthy.

My big boy Bengal, Dezi had a great time here. The facility was very nice and clean too. He got his own two room suite! The staff made him feel safe and loved and he wasn’t stressed when I picked him up. This was his first time away from home and I wasn’t sure how it would go. He will be coming back to visit again.

I have used Best Friends since 2002. All of my dogs have done great and I had a dog with some “issues” and she was handled well. There were never any problems after their visit at the “spa” as we referred to it. My two small dogs just returned from their spa visit and Max was on medication and he did great and our Gracie was happy too. Highly recommend!! 🐾🐾

We brought our Golden, Lola, here for the first time for a full grooming experience. She is terrified of loud noises--the girl who met us at check-in was extremely gentle with our dog, calming, and got her to settle down. We knew immediately that Lola was in good hands. They brought Lola out looking better than she ever has at any other grooming appointment--complete with a fresh bandana and bow. We loved our experience here!

Best Friends pet boarding, daycare in Carmichael. The staff here is awesom! My Pebbles and BamBam really enjoy their overnight stays! They get lots of attention, treats and best of all have piece of mind knowing the loving care they are getting! Highly recommend boarding and Doggy day camp!

Murphy and Finley had a great stay at Best Friends Pet Hotel. They took good care of them and were accommodating when I arrived slightly after hours to pick them up because of traffic. You could tell they really care about the animals in their care. I recommend!

The groomer charges extra for everything outside of the bathing. 10.00 extra if you want your dog combed after shampooing, 25.00 for clipping nails and if you want any fur trimmed it's 10.00 per area. What normally costs me 65.00 from my regular groomer was up to 125.00 by the time I became disgusted and walked out. I was fortunate enough to let the older couple know why I was leaving and they Thanked me and left with their 2 dogs as well. This groomer definitely needs to get updated in this profession before continuing to advertise as a groomer.

We are so grateful to have found the team at Barkers's. Their scheduling and payment system is easy to use. They did a home visit to learn about our alarm, where pet supplies are stored, etc, so they could provide the best care. Most importantly they put such care into looking after the pets. I get a text after each visit with a little update. We love our fur baby and I trust Barkers Pet Care enough to have recommended them to a number of my friends.

I have known Kathy for years and she has a passion for animals. I recommend her often.

We adopted a sweet dog, Teddy, from a rescue. Teddy was very reactive on the lead. I knew that I needed a professional to help this sweet little dog become a well mannered companion. Cameron, one of the dog training professionals at Busters, helped Teddy (and me). We received excellent training and guidance. Now Teddy is very good on the lead when we go for walks. I will continue to have Cameron assist me in training Teddy. I recommend him. I hope to eventually have Teddy visit nursing homes as a therapy dog. We also use the day care and boarding facility at Busters. The staff are professional and kind. I highly recommend Busters.

I took my dog, Winston, in for a 6 week training course to get some extra help with leash / reactivity training and Cameron has helped transform Winston into a dog with much better manners! He taught me a lot about my relationship with my dog that will help us moving forward. I've also taken Winston here for grooming before and they always do such a great job making Winston look handsome!

Super happy with Buster's Pet Resort- all the staff is super friendly, and happy to see me, and always so thrilled to see Tucker. It speaks volumes to me when they greet him personally and say their good byes so sincerely when we leave. I am a new pet parent and was scared to drop my little buddy off to anyone. My husband and I came across Buster’s and I am SO glad we did! In addition to boarding and grooming, we have used their Dog Training services and couldn't be happier. Colin is amazing to work with and has transformed our 3 year old Lab, Zoey, into a responsive and obedient companion. One training session with him and you'll be amazed at how knowledgeable and effective he is. We look forward to coming here for years to come.

I'm very impressed with Buster's Pet Resort. All the staff have been very nice and friendly. I cant begin to express how much my dog (Tucker) loves going here! At first Tucker was a little hesitant but now when he is being dropped off he runs for the entrance with his tail wagging. Someone is always at the door to greet us. And in the afternoon when Tucker gets picked up he is always exhausted from all the fun he has had all day playing with the other pups! I would highly recommend Colin and the staff at Buster's Pet resort!

Buster's helped me save a life. We adopted Suki from the SPCA, and boy was she a handful. We weren't sure if she would be the right fit for us. But after the daily daycare program and a 3 week board and train, she is such a good dog! Buster's fixed her food and toy aggression with our other dogs and made her not want to chase cars. They showed us how smart she is and taught her great listening skills and a ton of new tricks, and they trained us too! Suki gets depressed on Sundays when daycare is closed! Thank you for helping us appreciate what a great dog she is!

I absolutely LOVE Buster's Pet Resort and Daycare. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. I just started personal training at Buster's last week, and I'm convinced these trainers are wizards after the magic they preformed....I have a 14 month old Blue Heeler/GS mix (Willow) and 8 month German Shepard (Luna). My 14 month is a TANK and very leash reactive (Pulling, barking and getting exciting with other dogs). Walking both dogs was Extremely difficult, so I had to start taking them separately. After, only ONE personal training session, I was able to walk both dogs together, with little to no reaction when we approached other dogs, even barking dogs. They are walking so well together and people have actually commented on how well behaved they are. I'm so excited to continue our training at Buster's.

Extremely poor communication related to grooming prices even when I advised of her breed and size. Never have I experienced such a wide range of what a grooming could "possibly" cost (from $40 to $70 or even more?. Didnt get to speak to the groomer, only the front desk, the middleman. When grooming day came and I dropped my dog off, the front desk called within about 20 minutes to tell mean the groomer couldnt do her. She was well brushed but because her existing cut was uneven he said he couldn't groom her in "an hour". Which was one more important detail Busters failed to tell me when I scheduled the appointment, apparently the appt was set for an hour...IDK?? Don't recommend.

Great reliable staff, fortunate to find this place. My dog is taking training lessons, has spent four nights boarding and playing there, and is doing much better, behavior wise. We also feel welcomed, and I also, am learning new things(as a dog owner), as well. I give 5 stars.

We have been using Debbie for over two years now when we go out of town and she is always incredible. The updates and photos she sends everyday keep us from worrying about our 3 cats and since Debbie is always so nice, the cats have grown used to her and don’t have to hide.

Can't say enough great things about Debbie! We have 2 dogs that she has boarded for us for >5 years now. They absolutely LOVE staying with Debbie and getting to hang out in her backyard and play with the other dogs. She treats them like family members. One of our dogs has 3 medications and Debbie has never had any issues making sure she gets her meds. We have referred a few people to Debbie and all have raved about her services. Our family literally plans our trips around whether Debbie is available to watch the dogs (and she usually is). We enjoy being out of town so much more knowing that the dogs are so well taken care of!

Finding Debbie has made my life so much simpler/better! I have last-minute business trips and having her available to take care of my very sensitive/anxious pup, has been amazing. She sends pictures & updates while I'm gone so that I don't have to worry! And...since she only takes smaller dogs, Daisy is getting socialized in a way that she doesn't while at home. Her yard is also beautiful for the dogs to enjoy...bonus!

I am so grateful that we found King‘s pet sitting . We’ve been taking Bogey there for three years and he loves it. We can go away feeling very comfortable that he is in a home environment where he’s cared for and loved. He gets excited as soon as we turn down Debbie’s street. Debbie keeps in touch with us, sending pictures regularly so we can travel knowing he’s as well cared for with Debbie and her family, as he is at home. She’s flexible and reliable. Debbie came into our lives when I was renovating a home in EDH and moving from Los Gatos. I had to board my little golden doodle with her for 8 months during that time. My dog cooper loves to go to Debbie's home. He has a favorite friend named Trevor that he loves and I like to make sure Trevor is there when taking Cooper to Debbie's. We had our dog over once during the day and one time over night to practice for a longer vacation stay. She was very friendly and had only a few small dogs over. The second time we wanted to pick up our dog a little earlier than planned but she wasn’t at home and asked us to come back 4 hours later. All the dogs ran to the front window as we waited there and nobody opened the door, which meant they were at home alone for most of the day at least. This broke our trust. Anything could have happened while the dogs all agitated around. She also forgot to return our treats that we gave her for our dog specifically, when I asked to pick them up the next day she didn’t know which one were ours. We will not book her again.

I feel very comfortable anytime we leave our pets entrusted with Debbie. Always punctual, spends time with our pets and appreciate the text/photos of our animals following each visit. Fantastic!

The staff were so friendly! I met Silver & Danielle and they were super knowledgeable. And the dogs seemed genuinely happy! They have so many dogs available for adoption. I'm excited to go back!

An outstanding kennel. Everyone is very nice and kind to the dogs. Great facility with big yard for dogs to run. The dogs are always healthy and clean when we collect them. Staff is friendly and accommodating. A+ service!

I have been calling for a week and no one never answered the phone. Left several messages. I finally got someone on the phone and they were SO rude. Definitely not a place where I would want to leave my dog. And they came highly recommended by another vet which was even more disappointing. Customer service means a lot to me.

Dropped my dog off there for a little over a week while we went on vacation. Got my dog back with a bad case of conjunctivitis, hair missing around her neck where her collar was, and some sort of skin infection. I also learned that there was over 75 dogs being boarder there at the time but over the weekend there was over 145 dogs there. That's a hell of a lot of dogs to be there. I will be going elsewhere next time.

Left a message or two about wanting to board my dog here for a week, never got a call back! I was looking forward to maybe boarding her here, not worth never hearing back tho so I went somewhere else that actually called back

Extremely caring owner and staff. They took Excellent care of my Border Collie. BUDDY. I would highly recommend them. Lots of room to play and roomy clean kennels for each dog. Entire place clean and very organized. Everyone had their job to do and did it well. Thanks for taking such good care of fur baby.

This place is fabulous! Thanks to them, my dog got her first ever nail trim. They bathe her for us. The prices are super reasonable. I have a big dog that is hard for me to handle sometimes but they are able to take great care of her. She always has a fun time and enjoys being able to go play with other dogs for doggy day care days. Love them and would definately recommend!

Had my Kishu dog in for a bath and nails done. I was very happy with the results. Lilly was ready to come home and show off her new look

I would take Bonny and Roxy to boarding and then have Roxy with a bath and nails very professional compassion for the animals well Bonnie and Roxy not with us anymore so I have another baby her name is Daisy look forward to taking her to be boarded and for a grooming

Had to kennel my cat here and he had a great time. Great staff. Very attentive.
