I have to start by saying that Xavier and Sharkie are two of my favorite cats I’ve ever met—just absolute loves that I felt really lucky to get to know (though Sharkie will take 2 days to show you his sweet side). They get it from their mama, Domini, who is also a very sweet and thoughtful person ☺️ Xavier got sick during our stay, but Domini was very communicative and helpful and arranged to get us meds from the vet, which is conveniently across the street. She made it really easy. If you love amazing cats, Lisbon views, and a cool museum of a home, this is a perfect sit for you. The only drawback is that both cats shed a lot and are pretty messy with their food and litter, so if you want a clean space, you’ll need to tidy up after them regularly. Domini was very responsive and kind enough to hire a cleaner to help 🙏 but if you’re not picky about things like that, this sit has the best cats in Portugal 🐈⬛🐈⬛
Leah’s pet family is adorable! All of them have very distinct personalities and we fell in love with each of them. Archie is super sweet and mellow. Astrid is a true delicate princess. And Primrose is the kindest! The house is beautiful and spacious. Leah also cleared some space so that we could feel comfortable. We highly recommend this sit and want to acknowledge Leah’s kindness.
The stay has been pleasant from the beginning, we came directly from Spain and Lena made sure that our arrival was as easy going as possible. We were able to pick up the keys directly from the neighbor since his flight left early in the morning. The apartment was clean and even better than the photos. A very quiet and cozy neighborhood with easy access to the center of Amsterdam by tram. But the jewel in the crown undoubtedly goes to Simba, we had never met a cat so affectionate, obedient and smart. It's been an incredible 3 weeks full of cuddles, making our Christmas away from home much warmer. He is an independent, outdoor cat who takes his walks during the day and returns to eat and spend time with you! Communication with Lena and Pranab has been clear from the beginning, full of trust and care towards us. We are really going to miss Simba a lot, we definitely recommend this house sitting 100% and we would love to come back again in the future!
This was our first house set and were a bit apprehensive before we arrived. Melanie and Tom could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Max Chase and Guinness were exactly as Melanie and Tom had described. We had a good time with the dogs and they were fun. We would be happy to do this sit again.
It was such a pleasure to sit for Jayney. Her dog Jesse is a very gentle soul and delightful to take care of, it was a pleasure to have his company and to stay in Jayney's lovely home. Jayney is a lovely person, she was very kind and took care to ensure my stay was a comfortable and enjoyable one. Joy and Harry were incredibly kind, flexible, prepared and easy to communicate with. Their home is in an excellent safe location in Austin, is very spacious, clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed getting to use the pool! Best of all, Beau and Sugar were complete sweethearts. We grew really attached to the dogs and love them dearly. We hope to come back for another sit someday. We highly recommend this house sit :)
