Tom and David were wonderful hosts and have a clean, comfortable, and well-organized home with amazing views of Chicago. They helped me with transportation to and from the sit and took time to go through Louie’s routine with me, show me around their apartment building, and show me some good nearby walking routes. They also shared a welcome guide with really helpful information on Louie’s care and their home. Communication with them was fluid both before and during the sit and they were quick to answer any questions I had. Louie is friendly, loving, and easy to care for. He was a great companion to walk through the city with and there are many beautiful places to walk right from their apartment building. Louie could be spunky and playful at times, but then was also very chill and napped while I was working. I enjoyed my time there and highly recommend this sit to anyone who wants to enjoy the companionship of a sweet dog while in an incredible location in Chicago!
I have really enjoyed my housesit looking after Alfie at Hilary's beautiful bungalow on the edge of Taunton. Everything about this housesit was just right and I would recommend it to anyone. Alfie is a Jackapoo and he is a great little companion. He loves his walks and is good on the lead and off. He doesn't need long walks but is very happy to do the lovely walk up onto the hill overlooking Taunton. He is good with people and other dogs and happy in the car. He is also okay with being left for a few hours if you want to go into town which is an easy mile walk through the park (where there is also a great little dog friendly cafe)! In the evenings he loves curling up with you on the sofa - perfect! Hilary is very friendly and easy to deal with and this makes for a relaxed housesit. The neighbours are friendly and helpful too. The bungalow is pretty special and has a gorgeous garden with outlook onto fields, all situated in a quiet area. It is clean and comfortable and easy to manage. You will not be disappointed if you are lucky enough to be chosen for this housesit and I would love to return again.
Val and Jordi are extremely welcoming and great hosts. Their apartment is in a great location and the view is breathtaking. Luxurious and convenient! Highly recommend.
