Trina and Keith did a great job taking care of our home and our pets. The house was clean, sheets/towels were washed, and it looked exactly how we had left it. The dogs must have gotten some serious love because they almost didn't notice we had come home! We would gladly have them come stay again. Trina and Keith were very accommodating to arriving at your house at a time that worked for us to meet and make it easier for us to leave, which we really appreciated. They asked questions before we left and were self sufficient while we were away.
Lilli was a terrific house/cat sitter. She communicated often, clearly and was responsible and thorough. We recommended her to friends to, who used her housesitting services. We will use her again when her schedule allows.
Deidre and Jason were wonderful sitters! They took care of all the pets and the house. When I was back home I found everything clean, tidy and 3 happy pets. I definitely recommend Diedre and Jason for your next petsitters!
This was a great housesit on a beautiful location with Gaston, a remarkable sweet dog. Trygve and Nathalie took the time and the peace to show us and explain everything so we were well prepared. In the village and surroundings we met very friendly people. All that, together with the pool and the summer weather, the tasteful decorated house made this a wonderful housesit that we look back on with great pleasure. We hope to get the opportunity to take care of Gaston and the garden more often.
We had a great time with Mopsy and Sadie! They are cute, fluffy, friendly cats. It took only a day or so for them to adjust and feel comfortable with us. Sadie is a purr machine who LOVES being brushed, and Mopsy, despite trying to seem aloof, is really a sweet cat who likes to hang around people. They were most active in the morning and evening, and both enjoyed long catnaps during the day. Donna and Todd's home is in a beautiful, quiet, secluded corner of Connecticut. There are hiking trials nearby, the small town of Putnam about 15 mins down the road, and all of the charm and history of Connecticut's south coast accessible about an hour away. We made a few trips to the coast to visit historic towns such as Mystic and Newport, RI. Their home is only a few years old and very comfortable. We had our own guest bedroom with en suite bathroom and were allowed use of the rest of the home. There is a cozy loft space for watching TV and hanging with the cats, a nice office to use for dedicated workspace, and a large kitchen with everything you need to cook full meals. We also really enjoyed sitting on the screened in back porch reading or watching the birds. Overall, this was a great sit. Donna and Todd were very clear with their communication and available if needed while they were away. We highly recommend this sit for cat lovers who want to check out a nice quiet/historic corner of New England!
