Kathleen M
We loved our time with Maggie in Kathy's beautiful home. Kathy is so organised and very welcoming, even inviting us to a community dinner and introducing us to some people in the community.

Kathy has a lovely home, and the facilities are second to none. Maggie is just the sweetest girl, she loves her walks, some playing with her toys and tummy tickles, otherwise she is so laid back and so easy to care for.

the area has a lovely mile walk, and its easy to access longer hikes too.

Green Valley has everything you need and you will have a fabulous time with Maggie in Kathy's home. We recommend this sit very highly.

We really enjoyed this sit. Margaret and Brian made us feel very welcome. Their lovely house is located in the gorgeous, historic Queens Park area. We loved how walkable New Westminster is and enjoyed roaming the neighbourhood admiring the beautiful heritage homes.
Last but definitely not least, we so enjoyed the company of sweet Frankie and Ellis. Two of the most affectionate cats we have ever cared for.
We would recommend this sit.

This was SUCH a lovely sit. Fig and Bonsai are the sweetest company and were super easy. I'm familiar with pica and just made a point of keeping any fabric or plastics put away and we had zero problems. They were both cuddly and well behaved. Was really a very chill sit.

Soyoung is lovely and had great recommendations for places to go nearby. The space is really warm and cozy, and I'm definitely stealing some decor ideas.

Very highly recommend-- just be sure you take the pica seriously, so Bonsai can live his best life and not get in trouble :)

I'm new to housesitting and I fear I may have peaked too soon. This was a wonderful 5-star experience in every aspect.

The hosts, Louise and Jonathan, are a friendly, warm and hospitable couple who went to great lengths - above and beyond what could be reasonably expected - to ensure I had a comfortable stay and had everything I needed for the 9 days I spent in their lovely home. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need and set in an area of outstanding natural beauty which is best viewed with a cup of Yorkshire tea on their terrace.

Rex and Sidney will steal your heart. As trained gun dogs they are very obedient and easy to manage, but they are also incredibly loving and affectionate. It took little time to bond with them and they were excellent company both on walks and while sat at home in the evening - I think they even understood my frustration, vexation and elation when watching the Euros!

Rex is getting on a bit and not as agile as he used to be, his arthritis hampers his movement, but that doesn't stop him from wanting to get out for his walks. Sidney, however, is at his peak. He's a beautiful dog who likewise loves to be out and about and is a willing partner for longer strolls. The house may be surrounded by countryside with high ferns and heather but if Sidney goes out of sight, a couple of peeps on the whistle bring him straight back to you.
They are both an absolute joy.

You know how when you discover something that's absolutely brilliant and you want to keep it for yourself, like a quaint village, a traditional pub or a secluded scenic spot for skinnydipping? Well, that's kinda how I feel about this place. I want to keep it for myself. But I know that's not how this works and obviously I can't always be available to housesit for Louise, Jonathan, Rex and Sidney but honestly I really can't recommend Daggerstones highly enough.
If you are lucky enough to get this as a housesitting assignment, I'm sure you too will later see what a privilege it was.

Chiara
Chiara and her man are a friendly couple and their cat Figaro is so cute and really easy going. It was the first time I looked after a cat who is also going outside. The first 2 nights I didn`t sleep so good because I was always scared that the cat gets run over by a car, but afterwards I became more relaxed. The cat almost slept the whole day as during the night he is outside. The building has a huge garden, so a lot of space for the cat.

The area is quiet, in 15 min you can reach the Elbstrand (beach), Treppenviertel. The bus is only 5 min walk away, it just takes 1 stop to the metro Blankenese, from where you reach in 30min the city Jungfernstieg etc.

I enjoyed the 1 week stay and would always do a sit again with the cat Figaro. The daily communication with Chiara was also nice to get updates from both sides, so 100% all perfect.

Wayne
I had a wonderful time sitting with Gus! Debbie and Wayne are the nicest couple and gave me a warm welcome to their beautiful home and made sure I had everything I needed before they left. They left detailed instructions and were always available for questions. Their apartment is gorgeous and in an ideal location across from lovely Belmont Harbor, where Gus and I enjoyed many walks along the lake. The Lakeview neighborhood offers everything a sitter could ask for - shops, restaurants, and stores all right there, and their building is right on a bus route that goes straight downtown. Gus is a very sweet and affectionate little terrier. He is not crazy about other dogs, so no playdates or trips to the dog park were on the agenda, but he loves people and is a very cuddly companion. All in all a 5 star sit!
