There is not enough space on this app to leave the review for Sosha. This is the second time she stayed in our home taking care of Puma, are 11-year-old precious kitty cat. The first stay was so wonderful We knew we would have her for the second. She cared for our home and our Puma for 21 weeks. Think about it, that's over a third of a year. Sosha kept us informed with any issue with the house and was able to resolve the issues, which were minor. She kept us informed about our kitty cat and sent occasional pictures. She left the house immaculate, smelling good, and neat. She washed and changed all of the bed linens. One of the sweetest things Sosha did was to make a photo out of a picture we posted on Facebook about our puppy dog who accompanied us on the most recent 14 week RV trip around the country. We trusted Sosha so much with our stuff that we let her use our car anytime she wanted to go anywhere she wanted. Other things she did which were wonderful, she was there for the bug man to come every month to spray, she was there for the heating and air conditioning people to come and do their twice yearly checkup, she decorated for Halloween which is something we never ever ever do so I know the neighbors got a hoot, she brought our plants in when it got cold, she cleaned up our dead tomato vines from the garden, she helped our neighbor put the raked leaves from his yard on our flower beds and garden, and speaking of neighbor, she checked on him, Mr E. And let us know how he was doing. He's in his late '80s so we appreciated that. When the grass was growing she also cut the grass and did weed eating around the house. She brought in packages for us. She made sure the house was open when our oldest son would come and pick up his mail and packages. I should mention that Sosha house sits with her mother. They are two of the most wonderful people ever created. We love them so much. We appreciate that they were able to help us out for 21 weeks. I was so afraid of leaving my old cat, I thought who in the world would want to sit for 21 weeks? Well, it was them. I wish them all the very best as they pursue their dreams. I know I'm forgetting stuff to put down but I think you all get the idea.
We had a delightful sit with the utterly adorable Oggi. Sanna and Tom’s communication was great from the start and they were up front and clear about Oggi’s needs and behaviours. As such we felt confident we knew how to care for him and he behaved like an absolute angel, even when he injured his paw and was obviously feeling out of sorts. They have a very cool house and the land surrounding it is stunning, so we had plenty of walks we could take with zero worries about meeting any other people or dogs. Oggi is a large and powerful dog, which he demonstrated with his mastery of gigantic branch-sized sticks, but he’s also a complete softy. He loves his cuddles on the sofa and we felt very privileged that he’d let us into his circle of trust. All in all a sit that felt like a relaxing getaway with gorgeous canine company as a bonus. Thank you Sanna, Tom and Oggi
We had a lovely looking after Pheobe & Tatty, Debbie & Charles made feel very welcome on arrival, even preparing a meal for us. Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful, and only a short drive to local shops etc. Thanks for having us. Xxx
I had a wonderful sit at Karen's apartment. I arrived the night before and Karen took me to dinner so that we could get acquainted; she is a wonderful person. The next morning Karen explained everything I needed to know to take care of her plants and sweet Odie. Her building is like a 5 star hotel and her apartment is stunning. Panoramic views of the Hudson River and Palisades from every room. I felt like I was on a River Cruise. The train to Manhattan is right behind the building so it is a 5 minute walk from the apartment to the train platform. There are many wonderful day trips to take from her place but you do need a car. Some that I visited were West Point, museums in NYC, FDR library and museum in Hyde Park, and Untermeyer Gardens. You won't be bored on this sit. Odie is a very sweet boy and loves other dogs and children. He is very playful and has many toys with which you can play with him. Odie with cuddle with you in bed and he loves his treats. Odie is also a very smart dog and understands the word no or stop. You can't go wrong with this sit!
