We really enjoyed this house sit! Nala and Freya are real sweethearts once they get used to you. They love to walk, cuddle and play. They listen very well although sometimes they can argue a bit like real sisters do. The chalet is very cozy and is located in a quiet place surrounded by beautiful nature. We loved walking here and really felt at peace. Maaike is a super nice host! Upon arrival she showed and explained everything to us. Also the contact in between was very pleasant. We definitely recommend this house sit! 😄
Aqua is the cutest! I loved looking after her, a quiet, cuddly and energetic dog, we had lots of fun together. Very good with people and easy to pop in the car and take around (she accompanied me to a christening!) Free range chickens are cute and easy! Amazing and idyllic rural location, so Aqua could walk (run) off-lead, and is very good at coming back! The walks from the house are gorgeous, all the locals from the closest village know Aqua and are very friendly. Framlingham is nearby and definitely worth a visit. Alexandra was a very conscientious host, very lovely person who worked hard to prepare the sit well for me, I felt very welcome. Hopefully see Aqua again soon!
I had a lovely time watching Miss Misty in Kristin and Bobby’s beautiful home. Their home is located in the Hillsdale area of SW Portland which is now my favorite part of Portland as it’s surrounded by trees and peaceful energy. There are some gorgeous walking trails and homes around the area to walk around d and explore. Misty was pretty easy to take care of and really enjoyed being outside to guard the home. Two things just as a heads up, but would not deter me in the least from sitting as I would happily sit there again. Misty woke me up more than half of the nights I was there with her deep barking at 2/3/4 am which was a little bit of a challenge. There are no paper products other than tp in the house, so make sure to bring paper towels, Kleenex, and napkins if you prefer them (they have cloth substitutes).
Organisation with Lara was super smooth and easy. Her, and her family were warm and generous and helped me feel at home while sitting. The two dogs, Gus and Huxley are great fun. They love long walks and are very affectionate. The home is beautiful, well set up and well-maintained. There is plenty to see and do in the area and the area. Really enjoyed my stay!
Audrey and Matt were great! Audrey is very sweet and talkative. They have a big heart for adopting animals. Olive is a puppy, very playful and Pipper is a very companion and of course the queen of the house, they are both very sweet and they followed us around the house and even sat with us on the couch and stayed for a long time. They are very easy to take for a walk, they love it. We went every morning to have a coffee and they were the center of attention. Audrey assisted us in everything that arose, the heating stopped working and even so when we told her not to worry, she sent a technician to repair it. The house is fantastic, with the best view in Sausalito. Thank you very much for having us, we hope to return soon With love Tina and Ro
Communication with Annabel before, during & post sit was excellent. I was given clear instructions on how to care for all of the animals & everything required regarding the running of the house. I was asked to arrive a day early which I happily accepted. Although the weather wasn’t very kind I had a fabulous time, the 3 dogs were so well behaved, chickens & guinea fowl & sheep with different characters were a joy! Thank you for your hospitality & a special thanks to ‘granny next door’ lovely to meet you!

I absolutely love F&F! The staff is so caring and kind, I completely trust that my pup is taken care of well while she’s there. They are always friendly, they take the time to let you know if they noticed something about your pup that you want to keep an eye on and communicate well when there’s a closing. I always enjoy the random photos and holiday photo shoots they do, I wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else!
We’ve been bringing our pup to Femmes and Fidos for daycare/boarding for 2 years now. The team here is always so easy to work with and caring towards our dog. Could not recommend them enough. The attached grooming service is also super convenient and more great folks.
Love!! I have a mini bernedoodle and have tried quite a few grooming places as he needs it often. Femmes & Fidos was by far the nicest to my dog and made sure he was comfortable through the experience. They also did exactly what I asked for with the cut and made sure I knew everything they would do before!
We’ve been using Femmes & Fidos for years and our dogs are always happy there! They love it and we love how easy the entire process of dropping off & picking up is.
This place is so great. Our puppy loves it and all the workers are very nice and love all the puppies so much. I definitely wish there were more locations but so happy to find this place.

They did such an awesome job saving my bernedoodle boy, Roscoe, from all his matting. I knew he was going to have to be shaved down, but they did such a smooth job of the cutting that he didn't look butchered like he has from other places. They also were able to leave enough fur on his face, and did such a good job shaping it, that he still looks adorable. I'll definitely be sticking with them. Thank you!
Friendly enough, but it seemed overbooked. Took 3+ hours for my toy schnauzer for routine groom (no matting) on our 2nd visit. First visit, he was ready in about an hour (which I was used to).

I can’t begin to describe the wonderful care our fur baby has received at Femmes and Fidos. As a longtime customer our dog has utilized their daycare, boarding and grooming services. All of which have been superb! I wouldn’t trust the care of our dog to anyone else but Femmes and Fidos!
The Doggy City exceeded my expectations! I LOVE the option of having my dog picked up and dropped off before we leave on our trip. We were sent so many photos throughout the trip and we were also able to see updates on Instagram! Her communication was excellent and she responded promptly. Will absolutely be using her again!
