Justin came in and took care of kitty and made a new friend. Dewey can be pretty stand-offish but he liked Justin. You know what they say about an animals instinct for people. If Dewey liked him then we like him. LOL He took great care of our house and laundered even the stuff I hid in the washing machine and everything he used while here. I would definitely recommend Justin as a house sitter and will ask him back if he'll have us.
What an absolutely fabulous sit we had with Lizzie and Anthony, Roo and Tilly! First off, Lizzie is an excellent communicator and quick to respond. They have a most beautiful home on Lake Norman that allowed us to use their kayaks and stand up paddle boards. There was s plenty of room in the house and it is clean and comfortable. The town is quite close with plenty of stores and is convenient to everything. Now to the good news….Tilly and Roo are excellent pups! They are easy to care for, sweet, are well trained and are full of love! We enjoyed our morning walks and daily ball fetching in the lake. We could not have asked for a more perfect sit and Lizzie was so very accommodating! We would highly recommend this sit to everyone!
Margaux was a warm, welcoming host for us. She maintained excellent communication prior the sit and coordinated with our arrival despite us getting to Paris late in the evening. She greeted us in person and showed us around her apartment and building, and ensured we had everything available to look after Agüita properly. Agüita has a nervous temperament, and it took a couple of days for her to settle with us. Agüita enjoys spending most of her time chilling on the sofa, or looking out of the window. She likes to be cuddled, and never lashed out; she playfully paws sometimes. Margaux gifted us a bottle of wine which was so sweet!! Whilst she was away, we did not have any issues and really enjoyed our time with Agüita and in the apartment. That said, Margaux was always available and quick to respond when we provided updates. It was difficult to leave Agüita and the apartment. We can both highly recommend Margaux and Agüita. We hope you had a fantastic time in India! Muchos gracias, y un grand merci a toi! x
I had a lovely time looking after Mabel and Lizzie in Debbie's wonderful house. The dogs are very sweet, and great company, and the house is very comfortable, with a peaceful large garden. There are lots of good walks on the area, through forests in the hills. Debbie was very welcoming, and I would certainly recommend a sit with Mabel and Lizzie.
A great sit, thank you for having me to stay! Joey, Beanie and Ziggy are great company and easy to look after. A lovely house in a beautiful area - lots of nice walks around. Wouldn't hesitate to sit again.
It was an absolute pleasure to sit for Philip and Carol at their very special and authentic farmhouse. Communication was simple throughout and we were left very clear, precise and useful information about everything we could have wanted to know about during our stay. On their recommendation we had a lunch in The Common Room in nearby Framlingham which was a fantastic experience and a 'must do' if you're in the area - but you can't book ahead so best to get there early as there was a queue at the door for tables but well worth the short wait. Both Philip and Carol had given us a comprehensive induction on the morning of our arrival, going over the nuts & bolts of what was what, so we felt confident that we'd know where everything was and how it functioned. Elio and Bronte were so friendly and affectionate and no trouble at all. They soon got used to us and seemed to carry on as normal coming and going as they pleased. The chickens were also a pleasure and quickly got to recognise the sound of our voices as we approached their very historical residence; they all had their own characters and rewarded us with a couple of eggs every day. We would highly recommend sitting for Philip and Carol if you are lucky enough to be invited and we would love to return in the future, dates permitting.
We had a great time in the beautiful home of Jacqueline and Bas with their 3 cats Aruna, Tigris and Whiskey. We felt at home immediately, Jacqueline and Bas are really hospitable and friendly guys. Bas prepared a delicious supper for us, which we enjoyed together and spend a nice evening together in their huge and modern flat. So we had much time to get in contact with them and their cats. All three cats are nice and friendly, Tigris is a bit shy at the beginning. You can explore a lot of interesting things in the surroundings. We would recommend to have an own car, but this is not necessary. We highly recommend this sit, we would enjoy to come back again. Thank you very much, Felix and Ulrike
