Cat Sitters in City Of York

Beth and Ollie are star house sitters. They cared for our 7 year old Lurcher Ares who can be reactive with other dogs and made us feel totally confident. It sounds like he was very at ease and happy in their care and really well behaved which goes to show how great Beth and Ollie are with dogs who are extra special :) They set up a shared album which both my partner and I had access to – it was great seeing photos and videos of Ares while we where away. We had instant trust in both Beth and Ollie – they’re super responsible, organised and just really kind, lovely people. Our house was more spotless than when we left which was an extra treat. We can’t say thank you to Beth and Ollie enough. We would have them back in a heartbeat and Ares misses them already!

Liz and her son looked after my cat, Sushi, for two nights in April 2024 while I was on a ship and mostly unavailable. I got regular updates on how Sushi was going, the house was left spotless, and Sushi was happy and clearly well looked-after when I got back. Liz even left us some lovely gifts from the UK and we all had dinner together on my return. Liz and her son are both very open, friendly and communicative, and I'd have no second thoughts about having them come and sit again.

What a pleasure to meet Helen & Ryan and have them sit with our much loved very senior Frenchie girl Laila. They came over to us for a visit a few weeks before and we were so impressed with Helen’s questions to us about Laila's daily routine and care. Super organised and caring couple and anybody having them to sit with their beloved pets would be very lucky indeed. The Cottage was left in sparkling condition and we were very touched by the lovely card and box of chocolates Helen & Ryan left for us. Just super people!!!

This was the first time we have had someone in to look after my cat whilst away, and I think we struck gold with Carolyn. We got a great feeling about her from the first minute of meeting her, and it proved correct. I couldn't have asked for anyone more caring about animals, and also considerate, clean and tidy in the house. We received daily updates and pictures of Freddie whilst away, and were able to enjoy our holiday without any worry. I would not hesitate to recommend Carolyn to look after your pet and house.

Everything seemed spot on when I returned and Nika gave me updates along the way.

This is the second time that we’ve welcomed Mike and Anne into our home and we couldn’t be happier with how they’ve taken care of our pets and kept the place! Such a warm and lovely couple, they are immediately welcomed by our dog and we leave them with complete confidence in the knowledge that they will take care of things as if they were their own. After a short break we find ourselves coming home to a clean house and happy pets and wouldn’t change a thing about our experience with them.

Tricia didn’t come with Joe she brought her lovely mum with her instead. Couldn’t fault any of the sit, everything went perfectly well Abs little Star and the house were looked after fantastically well. I wouldnt hesitate to ask them to sit again. 2 lovely ladies. Highly recommended.

Helena and her husband were great sitters. I felt totally confident leaving Patrick in their hands. Patrick’s regular routine was maintained and he got lots of long walks. The house was left extremely clean and tidy when I returned. I would not hesitate to welcome Helena and her husband to sit for Patrick again in future.

Em was great! It was her first sit with TH and we chatted beforehand about everything. She arrived on time and worked with me while my return time was in flux. Charlie had a great weekend with her!

Jane was the perfect sitter, caring for our 3 dogs, 2 kittens and 2 aquariums. 2 of our dogs can be a little challenging but Jane went above and beyond in managing their behaviour, displaying an excellent knowledge of dogs. She was excellent in communicating with us throughout her stay. We came home to a spotless house, very happy pets and some gifts from Jane. We feel extremely lucky to have had Jane sit for us and would welcome her back in a heartbeat. Anyone who Jane sits for will be lucky to have her.

This sit had been arranged with Nikki months ago when I had previously been let down by another sitter. Communication was excellent and we spoke on the phone prior to the sit when Nikki seemed keen to learn about my dogs routines. Whilst I was away I received photos and updates (all positive thankfully). I wouldn’t hesitate to use Nikki and Mia again and I hope that they will be available next time I need a sitter

It was a pleasure to have Georgie and her family stay and look after Hazel. They immediately put Hazel at ease and they were very thoughtful to tidy the house for our return. Highly recommend and we hope they come back to look after Hazel in future.
