I had an absolutely perfect week at Luz and Alexander’s. They were so nice to me and through the whole sit very communicative. There home is cozy and I felt very welcome. Subway and Bus stations are close around. Perfect to enjoy London !! And Chomsky is just such a sweetheart, he is truly such a easy dog, with other dogs and people too. All he wants from you is to throw his ball (a lot of times) and your attention, he loves to cuddle and will demand more if you dare to stop 😂😂. All in all I very much enjoyed my time here and would always come back sitting Chomsky :)
Vanessa and Rupert are wonderful hosts and made me feel very welcome in their beautiful country home. It was an absolute pleasure to sit for Ludo, who is adorable! He is a friendly, easy-going and sweet dog. He loves company and I enjoyed playing with him in the stunning garden and taking him on walks in the surrounding countryside. The village is quiet and pretty and my room was comfortable, with everything I needed. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I'm happy to have been invited to sit here again. I am looking forward to my next visit and some more wonderful walks with the lovely Ludo. Thanks again Rupert & Vanessa for your hospitality!
Orion and Andi were amazing hosts! They made me feel really welcome into their lovely home and their communication was really prompt and clear. Their home is really clean and lovely with a great back deck which is a perfect spot to sip your morning coffee and listen to the birds. The bedroom and bed were super comfy and I had one of the best sleeps I've had in a long time! They have all the streaming services and great wifi, so it's a perfect place to work from home. Happy and Eva are possibly the most gorgeous dogs ever! They are very well trained and behaved and are the sweetest alarm clock in the morning with their little faces coming from each side of the bed. They are very easy to play with, as they mostly play with each other, but love the ball being thrown a couple of times. Happy is easy to walk and they're both easy at meal times. Perfect dogs to sit for! Rouge the duck is also super easy to care for as well! I would definitely recommend others to sit for them, and I'd be back in a flash!
Astor & Prince are just about as sweet as it gets. Astor is soft mannered, gentle and independenent. Prince is affectionate, perceptive and loyal. The home should be in an interior design magazine, it’s a stunning work of art. The neighborhood is suburban, walkable & super safe. Stephen and Bryan were communicative, kind and a pleasure to sit for. Hope to be back soon ☺️🌈💕

Extremely kind and helpful. Were very patient explaining the prices, booking and the grooming process. Very knowledgeable of what a guinea pig needs and made me feel very safe in leaving one of my piggies with them for the day. Came back to pick him up and he looks great, and seemed to be in very good spirits despite having been away all day. Got my piggie home and he was immediately back to himself and happy with his new look and much more comfortable. Cannot praise Furry Friends enough!
Took my kids guinea pigs to get their nails trimmed, including aromatherapy. Mike and Alison were lovely, and did a grand job. The guinea pigs came home, and were so relaxed, they didn't leave their pet carrier for 3 hours. Their nails look fantastic. 2 content piggles, and one happy owner. Highly recommend.
We've used Furry Friends Hotel for our rabbit any time we've been away for a few days, and we're always happy with the service we get. It's always hard to be away from our rabbit, but Furry Friends Hotel always make sure that we've got pictures and keep in close contact with updates about how she's getting on (which is fantastic, as we're always nervous so the reassurance is greatly appreciated!). They're always very friendly, flexible with times and even offer a taxi service for your pet.

This place is amazing! Have been meaning to leave a review for a while, they are kind and thoughtful and clearly care about every animal they look after. Would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere for their pets, they are very communicative and give helpful updates so you never need to worry about your furry friends. Their grooming service is also impeccable, my bunnies never are stressed after, which cannot be said when I try myself.

Our three guinea pigs stayed at the Furry Friends Hotel in July 2020. The service was fantastic considering the coronavirus restrictions. We were given regular updates on how they were doing and they were extremely well looked after. I highly recommend this business and would not hesitate to use them again.
I was really impressed by PetStay Glasgow from the start - Jane is very professional and inspires confidence. She asked for a lot of information about our lab Grace before matching her with a sitter. Grace was with Eleanor and family for 2 weeks and she couldn't have been better looked after. Eleanor was very good at keeping in touch and sent daily news and excellent videos and photos of Grace. Grace was also given a variety of walks and activities (she even 'helped' with the recycling) and looked happy and very much herself. Eleanor clearly cares about the dogs she looks after and does an amazing job. We will certainly be using PetStay again, and would love to have Eleanor and family look after Grace again.
Martin and Kelly and their children welcomed Austin and Gladys back to their home and treated them extremely well. They kept us updated with photos and messages. They even threw Austin a birthday party while he was there with cakes and presents. I couldn’t be happier with their care🤗 …
Our dog Meg was fantastically looked and cared for by Lorraine and family , Lorraine kept us updated with pictures and videos of her stay with her family , Meg looked like she was from home to home , out every day playing with her new found friends Lorraine's daughter and son , especially she loved Lorraine, the service we was giving was 100%+ as I was not sure leaving Meg with anyone as she was used to family members looking after her but Lorraine made memories and security in my heart , would recommend this company Pet stay to anyone they would not let you down and ensure your pet is suitable with the right person like we had , only thing that we can say is that Meg is missing Lorraine and family thank you again Pet stay and Lorraine for looking after Meg and she woofs you all.
This was our first time using Petstay and won't be our last. Our 18 month old cockapoo Rico stayed 7 days with Joanna and her terrier Roger. I was really worried about leaving Rico but could see Joanna loved dogs , she continued with Ricos routine, ensuring he had plenty of exercise each day and Roger was happy to have a friend . Joanna sent us videos/ photos each day which we all loved getting, he's going back again in a couple of monhhs for 2 weeks . We had such a fantastic experience using PetStay - from the get go Jane put us at ease and explained how the process worked. She took as much information as she could about our dog Chase to ensure she matched us to the perfect carer. We were matched with Lorraine and her family. On the first visit with Lorraine we knew Chase would be in safe hands. When dropping him off for the week we felt anxious as this was the first time he had stayed anywhere except family but that settled very quickly when we seen how happy he was to see Lorraine. Every day we received pictures and feedback of what he got upto that day and lets just say he was definitely on his holidays too. Eleanor and her whole family made our petstay experience amazing. She and all of her family gave our collie Dornie the most amazing care while we were on holiday. We got regular updates as to how he was settling in, which was extremely reassuring for us and laid our minds to rest so we could enjoy our holiday. Eleanor took gorgeous photos and sent us loads, we really appreciated this! All in all, I think Eleanor has been our best dog sitter ever, and we would love to have her and her lovely family to look after Dornie again. We liked the company Petstay too, it was easy to set up our pet care, our sitter was very well matched to our Dornie. All in all, a great service, I would give 6* if I could! Many thanks :)
I can’t rate PetStay Glasgow highly enough. Jane paired our dog up with a lovely family to take care of our dog while we went on holiday. The service from PetStay is exceptionally professional and thoughtful from start to finish, and our dog had a wonderful time when we were away. He was paired with a perfect family. The family he boarded with sent us a photo and an update each day, which put our minds at rest and we could see how happy our dog was. He even went to the beach! I am extremely grateful to Jane and the family who took exceptional care of our pup when we were away. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend PetStay and I would be very happy to use them again in the future.
Goodness, where to start. I have only very positive things to say about my entire experience using Pet Stay. From my initial contact with Jane, who was so helpful, thorough and very quickly matched my dog to his hosts. Marie and Kenny are just lovely people. They were wonderful hosts. So kind, friendly and very accommodating. Skipper settled so well and just had the best time with them. He was on lovely walks/went to the cafe which he loves and I was kept up to date via messages and pictures during Skipper's stay. I will absolutely use Pet Stay again, and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone A fantastic experience, hence the 5 stars.
Was a bit worried as haven't left poppy with anyone for more than few days, We met Jean , Pat & jasmine before leaving poppy with them, We were sent photos of poppy & she settled well throughout her stay. We were really nervous about leaving our dogs for the first time however Gillian and her family couldn't have been nicer. They sent updates every day, lots of photos and were in constant contact. I would 100% use this service again, can't recommend enough.
I engaged Mo to cat sit so long ago it was in a time pre Covid! It was obvious from the start her passion for cats and empathy for their owners. The feeling was mutual. The first time she cat sat she sent a pic of Felix on her chest. One of the last times she looked after them she spotted blood in the litter tray so inspected the cat and made an extra visit later to check there wasn't any more. I recommended her to a friend and she performed cat sitting duties and helped my mate out when a stray cat she fed was sick and later sadly passed away. Not technically part of the service. I should have written a review before now. Today personified her love for animals and care for owners when she helped me in a really compassionate way when my cat had just been run over. She was mid dog walking service but did not hesitate to take control, drove me to a vet and assured me he was unconscious and blissfully unaware which is what every owner needs to hear when their animal is dying. She even swept me up and took me home afterwards. All the while making sure the dogs were still getting what they needed. Like some of the other reviews have said I can't recommend highly enough for authentic client and animal focused service. If I could give 10 stars I would and hope to use her services again some day. Mo and Reno have looked after Willow for 2.5 years for daily walks, daycare and overnights when I have had to travel for work. Willow loved being part of the pack and always returned mud free, well exercised and happy! Their care and love for the animals they care for is clear. They are reliable and never let me or Willow down and I was very sad to have to separate Willow from the pack when we had to move from Scotland. I cannot recommend them enough and you should have no hesitation is trusting your pets, of any size to their care. This is a Completely positive review of Tails and Adventures! Their attitude to humans is totally professional and their attitude to the animals extremely kind and caring. We felt very safe to hand our pets (and the keys of our home) over - really appreciated the sensible questions (where's the pet carrier if there's an emergency etc) which put us at ease before we left and then appreciated the updates while we were away. Our cats brought a mouse home while we were away which shows how much they loved their new babysitter and it was dealt with easily and with an appropriate level of humour. When we got back all three cats were relaxed and had clearly been well looked after. Highly recommended if you need a pet-sitter while you are away. The only drawback is I'm not sure the cats missed us.
Mo and Reno have looked after Bella since we first adopted her. She absolutely loves her walks and we are so grateful that she's well looked after and cared for when she's out with Tails & Adventures. Wouldn't feel comfortable leaving her with anyone else.
Our dog, Peggy, has been going on weekly walks with Mo & Reno since she was a puppy - I think it's the highlight of her week! They take her on lovely and safe walks where she can run around happily with the other dogs. We're very thankful we came across Tails & Adventures as they provide such a fantastic service and are very trustworthy & reliable people.
Mo and Reno have looked after Holly for a number of years now and I can't recommend them highly enough. They have a great bond with her which is clear by the crazy welcome she gives them every day when they arrive to take her out! She always comes home from her walks tired, happy and content. Mo and Reno always go above and beyond to help with Holly in any way they can and I trust them completely to take good care of her.
Tails and Adventures are great with our black Labrador and we have used them for years. Always reliable and responsive with great communication. We trust them and know our dog is well looked after. Highly recommended service and lovely people.

Our dog Poppy has been going here for years- she just loves it here. When we arrive in the car she can’t wait to get through the gate and into the kennels. Chris takes great care of the dogs and earns their trust. 10/10.
My Border Collie stayed here for 7 days in May 2019, I was surprised to see how clean and spotless the kennels were. Chris the owner put regular photos up on his facebook pages showing our wee boy having a great time playing in the very well secure playing area, when we picked him up it was immediately clear he had been well looked after, he looked so happy, I cannot thank Glenview enough for looking after him and we will definitely be using this kennel again, thank you Chris and team.

First class care for dogs.
Really debated whether to post a negative review or not but don't want other dogs being neglected like my Golden Retriever. The website says that dogs will get walks in the forest, free walking in a grass paddock or even group walks but he seemed to only get some solo time in the concrete play area. The weather was amazing so I thought he would get out and about. Upon dropping Benny off, we were told he wouldn't be mixed with other dogs at all due to no other dogs his size, then the unpleasant woman stormed off. From looking at the updates on their Facebook page, there were multiple other large dogs including labradors and Retrievers so this was disappointing. We booked this with good intentions that Benny would be walked and mingle with other dogs but none of this happened. He is a friendly dog so we expected him to social with other dogs. They stay in concrete floored kennels and Benny was returned with blood stained elbows and sores presumably from laying on concrete too long. We had given them two blankets for Benny to lay/sleep on and I doubt they were even handed to Benny. Benny only stayed there for 6 days and I'm disappointed in the state he came back in. The staff never said anything about his elbows/sores, they probably didn't even notice. If you really care for your dog, please go somewhere else.
Our Dog has stayed here 3 times in the last year. Each time the service has been superb. Staff all very friendly and really get to know your dog. We have used several kennels over the years, some good, some bad, but this is the best by far. We now don't have to worry about leaving Mila for a few days as we know she will be well looked after.
Absolutely love this kennels and cattery I’ve used valley kennels for my dogs previously and now our cats for 30 years … admittedly my dogs were kennel dogs at home so they were happy and my cats never bother going in to the cattery and staff look after our pedigree kitties so well.. I read some of the reviews and think mmm … I’d definitely recommend here.. even my husbands dog who’d never seen a kennels and we kennelled him here at an age of 14 and he was super and well cared for.

Great cattery, staff are always friendly and welcoming. And my cats are always returned happy and calm. The photo updates on social media are great to see how well they are doing. I have used this place several times and would highly recommend them.
Avoid!!! My poor boy was left in the kennel for 4 nights to lie in his own pee without as much as a walk because hes terrified of putting the slip lead on they said for the safety of staff members they cant risk putting his harness on him hes not an aggressive dog i have 2 small kids at home its was just a new environment and was scared. He has been left traumatised from this. Had to get family member to collect him early as when i called to check on him they informed me he hasnt left the kennel for a walk this is just cruel!! Also dont believe he wouldn't go a walk i don't think they even tried as he loves his walks.
Extremely disappointed in the service we received. We were on holiday in Thailand and books Lola in for a 13 night stay. Received a call from the kennels on day 11 asking us to collect Lola as she had damaged her paw pads. Damage I may add encouraged by the kennels encouraging energetic play on a hard, concrete surface. It appears however that they were more interested in how they would get paid before they would release Lola to our neighbour and asked if I could transfer the money to my neighbour so that they could be paid. From Thailand on a Saturday and we were 7 hours ahead. I agreed to pay them over the phone and Lola was released into the care of my neighbour. They were more interested in getting paid than in Lola’s welfare. They couldn’t wait two days until we returned. When she got home, she didn’t (couldn’t) bark. She had lost her voice. I discussed this with my vet who said that this can occur when the subject is continuously barking for long periods of time. There is absolutely no duty of care offered here and they are not interested in administering and care to any damage or injury albeit a result of their negligence in failing to notice any change in your pet. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID !
I can’t explain how good this cattery has been. Had our two boys here for 10 days, they’re long haired and in a previous cattery had come back quite scruffy, but picked them up from Valley this morning and they look, smell and feel as if they’ve been groomed daily and looked after so well. They seem to have had a great time (one of them didn’t even want to get in the carrier to come home). The cattery also posted photos of them on the Facebook page every day, which made being away a lot easier, as I could see each day how they were doing. Will definitely only use this cattery from now on. The staff are super friendly and helpful too!
They charged us the full amount on drop off and our family again on collection. Our dog came home with an injured nose. We also left our portioned bags of our dogs regular food because his stomach is sensitive to change and there was nearly 2 days of food left in his bag when we collected him. They told us our dog ate one of his toys, stuffing and all, which makes sense since they apparently weren't feeding him. Very disappointed with how our dog was treated and won't be using again.

Lack of attention to detail from customer service point of view. Confirmed process prior to taking dog there , but they said something different at visit. Stay away from them.
I won't lie, I love my dogs more than my children so choosing the right kennels for my spaniels was really important which is why we choose Birdston kennels. The staff are amazing and have an obvious love for dogs and their jobs. The kennels are high quality and offer everything they need. Frequent updates and Facebook posts let you see how much fun they are having. We wouldn't go anywhere else, our doggies had a great time.
I have used these kennels twice now and I can honestly say that after the excellent service we've received both times I'm never going to go anywhere else and if these guys are full then so be it. The space itself is really designed from the ground up with your animals welfare at the forefront. They have plenty space as well as environmental protections and proper safe sleeping spaces. The staff ask all the right questions to ensure your animal will be looked after properly and pay great attention to detail on the specifics of your pet and its vaccination status etc. My dog never seems stressed or agitated when I collect him form here unlike another kennel we have used previously. I can't speak to the grooming side of the business as I have never used it but these kennels get my recommendation.
I was really anxious about leaving my Rosie in kennels for the first time but I needn't have worried. The team at Birdston were excellent. She was really well cared for and seemed very happy when I collected her. It was also reassuring seeing regular photos on Facebook and I was told I could phone any time during opening hours to ask how she was. Thank you all. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
My dogs go every week to day boarding and at holidays here. Staff are so friendly and helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble.Dogs are so happy and cared for, get lots of exercise and love. One of mine is a nervous dog and he’s so settled there with the staff. Lots of lovely pictures posted of them out playing and having fun. Totally recommend here to anyone, first class service!

I've visited or tried every kennel for a 20mile radius from Birdston Kennels so I can fairly comment. Birdston Kennels is the BEST kennels for miles. I like the way you are asked the EXACT food/brand and feeding times for your dog. Unlike indoor kennels that are a humid breeding ground for germs, the kennels have indoor and outdoor for ventilation. Anytime I've picked my dog up I can see how clean they are. There is a good exercise area where the dogs are let out to play - this is not common with other kennels where they do not have such an area. The kennels themselves have a decent run area also. The staff genuinely care, my dog requires medication and the woman who runs it is even more exact than myself at administering my dogs medicine. If a dog is unwell, she is straight up at the vets to have him/her checked out - I know this because I've ran into her there! And the dog looked ok, but I guess she didn't want to take any chances. In a nutshell, someone who really cares about the dogs. The grooming facility is great - you can book your dog in for a clean at the end of the kennel period. Then you pick up your dog smelling lovely!
I have a 15 month old dog and he has stayed at the kennels several times now. He also receives all his grooming here and always comes out looking beautiful. The staff are great and I can't thank them enough.
I have used Birdston kennels for quite a few years. My two wee shelties are just home from a recent 2 week stay in the kennels. They come home looking in better condition than when we left them! They are beautifully groomed and are looking amazing. When we drop them off they wag their tails and are happy to stay. The staff could not be nicer and are so friendly. When they were unwell in kennels a few years ago they were well taken care of and they phoned me to let me know which I appreciated. I would not now board my dogs in any other kennels other than Birdston
Alison has been wonderful looking after our 2 dogs these last few days. She is very professional and we had no worries leaving our boys (one with medical needs) in her care. She ensured their routine was followed and we came home each day to happy boys. We'd definitely use Alison again.

We've been boarding our cockatiel here for a few years, and have always been very happy with the service. This Christmas we boarded both our cockatiel and bearded dragon for a week and again could not fault the service. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, very reasonable price for boarding, and a nice, well stocked pet shop too.

Visited at the start of our West Highland Way to pick up a gas cannister. The lady was super friendly, opened the shop early when she saw us waiting and helped me figure out what to do with my expired bank notes. Super thanks !
Have bought several fancy mice from this store and they have all been/are so cute and amazing. There are not that many pet shops that sell mice but they are my absolute favourite pet. The ones I have now are making it to almost 2 years old, which is really good for mice. They are so sweet and playful. I would highly recommend Creature Comforts to anyone. The pets are lovely and the food, toys and other nick nacks are great. Thanks.

We had seen a hamster we wanted and went to Milngavie to buy it. The lad who served us (didn't get his name - ponytail and beard) was most knowledgeable and friendly and directed us on the best products to buy for our cat too. A very friendly experience and saw no evidence of animal neglect. The lady who arrived at the door at 3.55 should put herself is the staffs' place. She could have arrived at 4.00 and been there til 4.30. A treasure of a store and we will certainly be back
Though a pet shot they also stock gas canister and supplies for those doing the WHW. I can't thank them enough for going out of their way to open up the boxes they put in storage to get my cannisters in October. Many of the customers who came in and out seemed to also be happy with their service.
As always friendly helpful staff. Have us sound advise and prices are comparable with all other pet shops. Good to support local business.
Cannot recommend this lovely gal enough! She looked after our dog Bambi when her flight was delayed before she moved to live with us in the UAE and was absolutely fabulous. Super flexible and kind with our crazy situation and the absolute best with Bambi who is just a bag of nerves!
Amy and Anna from Cardonald dog walking are the perfect dog walkers. Nothing is a bother and they are so caring and considerate of our elderly dog. My dog is raging when I'm on holiday and it's me walking her. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a dog walker or dog boarding services.

Hamish has really enjoyed his walks with Amy. Amy always responds to our messages and keeps us informed on how Hamish is settling in within the group. Amy is trustworthy and responsible, so much so that we often get her to check-in on our rabbits when we're away on holiday.
It's been so great having Amy and Anna to walk Bailey as it gives her a really good chance to socialise with other dogs which she really missed out on in her early years. Both Amy and Anna really care about Bailey as if she was their own dog and would always recommend then.
