Dog Sitters in Clackmannan

Jacqueline and John were absolutely top notch house sitters! From the word go we had easy communication - Jacqueline was very responsive to messages and we had a lovely initial zoom chat and I knew from the get-go that Jacqueline and John would be just great and we went away feeling totally relaxed and very lucky to have them house sit for us. Jacqueline kept in regular touch when we were away, sending messages and photos of the animal clan. We came home to an immaculately tidy house, extremely happy pets and a lovely card and birthday present was left also for me. Jacqueline and John are thoroughly lovely kind and genuine people - reliable, self-sufficient, enthusiastic, caring and fun! We would absolutely thoroughly recommend them to house sit and we just hope that they might consider coming back and sitting for us again - I did tell them that it's lovely in the summer months - as they had to contend with a wet week in January! Thanks so much to you both J & J - you were just fabulous!

Jo and Jon have been our longest petsitters to date as we were away for three and a half weeks. We had "met" on Zoom on a couple of occasions and they came down to visit us and have an introduction to the house and dogs a week or two before the actual sit.This was great as we could show them round and talk them through the details of the sit in a nice relaxed manner. It certainly meant that the handover when we left to go on holiday was very straightforward. They were great at keeping in touch while we were away with updates on how the dogs were doing. There were one or two unexpected glitches while we were away. One of our dogs came in season shortly after we left so needed to be monitored on walks rather more closely than usual but they were very vigilant and careful about where and when they walked her. There was also an issue with our underfloor heating but they liaised with our daughter about it. The dogs were very happy and looked in great shape when we returned and seemed very relaxed with Jo and Jon. Since our return the dogs have been going upstairs to sit outside Jo and Jon's bedroom and I'm sure they are convinced that they are still hiding in there! The house was just as we left it and had obviously been well cared for in our absence. There were also fresh flowers which was a lovely touch. We are really grateful for the excellent house sit by Jo and Jon and for looking after the dogs so well, and we hope they will house/dog sit for us again sometime.

Where do I begin?! The beginning: we had a trip to Norway booked and our original sitter pulled out not long before we were due to leave. In the storm of a blind panic, I reached out to Glenise via a private request in the wee hours of the morning asking if she would possibly be free to sit for us for just over a week. They say a picture paints a thousand words, and from Glenises’s photo alone, I instinctively knew that Glenise would be someone I would want living in my house. I was so relieved when Glenise’s first message pinged through later that morning saying that she was available on the given dates. Glenise’s communication was excellent and my mind was then even more firmly put at ease after our first conversation. Glenise described herself as very self-sufficient. And this is so true. When the day before our trip arrived, I met with Glenise at King’s Cross Train Station after work so we could catch the tube home together. I am so very grateful for Glenise making the long train journey from Scotland to London. Nothing seemed like too much hassle for her. I knew from the outset that Hank and Margot, my two gorgeous ragdolls, would be very happy and safe. The middle: On the morning we were leaving, Glenise and I ran through the cats’ routines together and general things to know about the house and garden. It all seemed so effortless - Glenise wrote things down in her little blue notebook and nothing seemed too much trouble. As we drove away to the airport to catch our plane later that morning, I had an overwhelming sense of calm. It was obvious that Glenise was very caring and loved cats. The end: I arrived home to two cats who were so happy and well adjusted, seemingly oblivious to the fact that we had been away as their routine had obviously stayed the same and they had been provided with first class care and love. The house was spotless and I was so delighted to be given two lovely bunches of roses, a thoughtful card and two books edited by Glenise! As a wonderful act of kindness, Glenise also gave Lina, our cleaner, a box of chocolates too. Lina was over the moon! Glenise, you are very special. Thank you for making the trip down and for your care and compassion. Aaron and I and Hank and Margot (as well as Mr One Ear the fox who you lovingly fed) are all very very grateful that you stayed at our house. Caireann has pet sit for us a few times now and my girls are always so loved and well looked after! I’m always pleased when she’s free to do a local sit for us and frankly, my two cats love having Aunty Caireann over! Couldn’t recommend more.

This is the third time that Donald and Janet have sat for us, and as always the animals were perfectly looked after. Donald happily took care of one of our donkeys, who has been unwell and has obviously been well cared for. We are always happy to leave the animals in Donald and Janet's care, and wholeheartedly recommend them. Thank you both...

We got to meet Jan and Paul before we left. They both seem like really lovely, interesting people. We didn’t have much correspondence with them whilst we were gone aside from the odd text, they seemed very self-sufficient! We returned home to 2 very happy dogs (who felt lovely and fluffy so must have had a good brush!), a nice clean home and a lovely gift of drinks and chocolate for us, and treats for the dogs (a really thoughtful surprise). Jan and Paul were ideal house sitters. They even stripped their bed and washed the bedding, saving me a job! We would recommend them to anyone who wants responsible sitters who will care for your pets and keep your house tidy.

Natalia is a fantastic house sitter and someone you can certainly trust with y your home and pets. We came home to a relaxed and happy cat and a spotless home, so we cannot ask for any more! Totally reliable and very self sufficient - thank you Natalia!

These two are amazing!!!! We really loved meeting them and know that our Jet was loved and thoroughly taken care of. She was so content and even tried to get in the car when they were leaving!! Not only did they communicate the perfect amount, they took pictures of their adventures which gave us peace of mind whilst we were away. We both said how they immediately felt like family and we hope that our paths cross again.

Charles and Carin were fantastic house sitters. They looked after our 3 dogs brilliantly, giving them lots of walks and cuddles. Carin kept in touch on a daily basis via WhatsApp and we were sent photos of our boys always looking very happy. Our house was immaculate when we got back from our holiday and we would 100% recommend Charles and Carin to housesit your home.

Barbara was fantastic! She arrived a day early so we could do a hand over and let the boys settle. They took to her instantly and within a few minutes were bringing her toys. Barbara sent photos and messages to keep me up to date and also cleaned up after one of the pups got sick. She took them for nice long walks and sent a video of them playing on the beach. The house was quite possibly cleaner than when I left and my boys were happy, which is the most important thing. I would happily have her back anytime!

Alex and Espen are great. They took good care of our care and left the house super clean. They are also flexible, liable and gentle. A very nice couple
