I had a wonderful week at Alison and David's house looking after the gorgeous Ruby. Alison and David were so helpful and welcoming, and really wanted me to enjoy the house, the area, and the walks with Ruby. It is a stunning part of the countryside, and Ruby and I roamed up to Leith Hill and Coldharbour on a number of occasions, while there are also more local walks. The house is beautifully maintained, and I slept very well! I highly recommend this sit :).
Staying on Lisa's house was an amazing experience! Juno and Nero are wonderful dogs, they love to have walks, cuddling and being with us. Also Lisa and Tim were very nice, they explain everything very clear to us and the house were so conformable and cozy. We totally recommend to stay with them! It would be a pleasure coming back if needed, thank you for giving us the opportunity <3
We absolutely loved sitting for Viveka and taking care of Calloway. Viveka was very communicative and did a great job providing us with all of the information needed to take care of Calloway and enjoy the area. Her home was beautiful and was a perfect place for us to work from home. Two dedicated office spaces and great/reliable wifi made work easy and comfortable. Calloway was an absolute sweetheart and we are going to miss him so much. He was low maintenance and loved scratches. We had so much fun with him and we looked forward to coming back home with Calloway being so excited to see us. He is really great at channeling his excitement into his toys so he doesn’t overload you. He gets along very well with people and is an absolute joy all around! We’d love to return anytime!
Jeni was a great host, and Oscar was such a sweet cat. Her home is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Livingston is a wonderful small town with a lot of history and character. The location was perfect to check out Yellowstone and nearby Bozeman. There were so many events happening in Livingston and Bozeman, and having Yellowstone in striking distance made our time there a memorable experience. We miss Oscar already and hope we can come back and care for him again one day!
Wonderfully location to sit if you like peace and quiet. Medlar was just the most adorable host showing me around his home and gardens. Teaching me ball games and how to find them when they go missing. Beautiful walks and plenty of them, Medlar knew his way to most! He was great company on car trips out. Lisa and her family were so welcoming. I felt as though I had known them for a long time. Thank you, and I would love to return 😊
Eric and Lesley have a wonderful home! It's beautifully decorated, comfortable and in a 10/10 location if you love the beach as much as I do. They were excellent communicators and had an efficient manual that is detailed with everything you'd need to know. Toro and Saba are sweet and low maintenance kitties. I loved snuggling up with them (on their own time). I would definitely sit for Eric and Lesley again. Thanks for the lovely time!

Jen has been an absolute life saver. We've got two toy poodles, both nervous out in public & with new people. One of them is extremely reactive with everything outside, especially other dogs, it was unbearable to walk him because he would just constantly cause such a scene and humiliate me - even if the other dog was miles away. After just 4x 30min sessions with Jen, he's like a completely new dog & we don't even use treats anymore - just verbal commands. Our walks are now enjoyable and he is really listening both inside and outside the house. He can now walk past other dogs without a single growl and it absolutely amazes me every time because of how bad he was before. Both mine & the boys confidence on walks has grown MASSIVELY! We also had a BIG issue with the boys fighting each other. To the extent that they were both muzzled in the house or separated with baby gates constantly - our lives revolved around keeping them completely separate, we were pretty much at the end of our tether after going through it for over a year now. Myself and my partner both got hurt constantly trying to separate them & I was in tears most evenings. We had actually worked with behaviourists in the past but the only solutions we had been given were buzz collars (which we also had to use for walks with their reactivity), citronella sprays or muzzles etc and it never solved the issue. We honestly thought we might have to rehome one and I just couldn't bring myself to... so we just struggled for so long until we did some research and found Jen @ DoggybGood. After one assessment & observation she manage to fix our biggest issue without even having to have a training session with them! Now we don't use any muzzles or buzz collars or sprays etc & they're best friends. They now sleep together, play together & once or twice I've even caught the odd cuddle... which if you'd seen them before you'd never believe! It has literally changed our lives now and I can enjoy being a dog owner again because for the last year I physically couldn't imagine it - Highly Recommend!
We contacted Jen to help us with training our new puppy Teddie. After our first meeting it became apparent that Teddie and the whole family that required the training.! Immediately Teddie was captivated with Jen and he was very quick to learn. Jen asked us to describe the personalities of the family and was able to tell us why Teddie was a little aggressive to our oldest son (the quietest in the family). The training was broken down into bite size parts which allowed us to practice in between lessons. I am pleased to say after 4 weeks training we all passed with flying colours. We continue to practice on a daily basis and this has really made a difference. We will be booking on the advanced course very soon. Jen - you are a star, thank you for all of your help, we were getting very stressed before you trained us all but we are now having lots of fun with our new addition to the family. Highly recommended.

We have just had 4 sessions with Jen which have been transformational in our relationship with our dog. Jen encouraged the whole family to be involved which ensured we all (children too) learnt new ways to communicate and improve our dogs understanding and behaviour. Jen is very friendly and accommodating and ultimately has great knowledge which means she's great at what she does. Highly recommended! Luke and family
Would highly recommend Jen. Lovely friendly advice that has helped us work with our puppy in a more positive way. Jen is great fun and very inspiring. We have seen lots of changes in our dog and we have more confidence now knowing what we need to do to handle unwelcome behaviour. Jen goes through all the basics week by week but is always willing to take the time to answer questions and work with issues we are having.
Jen is a lifesaver. She has really helped us tremendously with our puppy, Lola, who is now well behaved and a pleasure to walk and play with. Jen adapted her training to meet our needs and gave us good practical advice based on her experience. We cannot recommend her highly enough.
I have a lovely Boston Terrier puppy called Coco. Coco's sister Winnie who lives with my sister was getting training from Doggybgood and was doing so well that I decided to get in on the action. Jen was great with Coco from the very start, Coco just loves Jen and responded so well to her request, following her lead better than we could have ever imagined. We now have a very well behaved puppy who is still learning more every day. It's created such a lovely bond between myself, partner and Coco. The homework was the best part as watching Coco grow was priceless. I would highly recommend Doggybgood, Jen really does dedicate all her time to knowing what is best for your dog and passes her expertise onto you with really clear training for both you an your puppy. I feel like I have been well educated over the 4 week puppy training course. Jen's doggy training toys are really great too, Coco loves her training mat. We all are looking forward to working with Jen @ doggybgood again.
Jen has been amazing over the last 4 week when it comes to train. She’s is professional and friendly so you know where you stand. Jen has help me and my partners understanding and bond with our dog become stronger. Training has become fun for both us and our dog. Slowly but surly we have noticed a difference in our dog’s behaviour we highly recommend Jen.
Jen looked after my old greyhound recently while we went on a short break. Jen is very friendly and personable, she has a real genuine love of dogs. We met up multiple times before he boarded with her so he could meet the other dogs she looks after. All the other dogs were friendly and she had done a lot of training with them herself. He had a trial night as well before his stay. During his stay I had lots of videos and photos of Turbo playing games, going for walks and chilling in the garden. I genuinely feel that he had a fab time and because he'd got to know them all, he wasn't anxious at all. I will definitely be using doggybgood again in the future.
Jen has done a wonderful job with Archie our Staffordshire bull terrier puppy- training him over the past few months. We went for an 8 week package and he has benefited from it enormously. Jen is a great trainer, friendly with lots of experience. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs to train their puppy or dog. She is very reasonably priced and offers overnight stays and day boarding. This is particularly handy if u need to go out for the day and you don’t like using kennels. Thanks Jen 👍
I have sent my puppy Buddy (almost 10 months) to Simon & Leah twice for home boarding & am really happy with the service they provide. My dog is a lab & at times can be hard work as he is still young and in training, Simon & Leah are great with him, follow his daily schedule best they can & know exactly how to cater for his needs. Their dog Koda is great with Buddy, they go on walks by the beach & he always comes home super sleepy after having so much fun. I feel really comfortable leaving him with them & will continue to use them going forward! Thank you
From the moment we met Simon and Leah we knew we were putting our puppy in safe hands. Betsy was a 6 month old Newfoundland with an abundance of energy like all puppies do. Simon and Leah’s calming dedicated nature immediately put our minds at rest. Betsy attends daily walks and once a week day care. Because of the lock down we were unable to socialise Betsy in the normal manner so her interaction with other dogs when with Simon and Leah has become invaluable and her confidence and recall have improved immensely. Betsy now waits by the door each morning ready for them to arrive. I feel blessed to have found Simon and Leah and I can’t thank them enough for the love and care they give Betsy every day.
They walked my dog he loved his walks with we love pets, there service and quality is fantastic timing excellent l would very highly recommend they are now doing house sitting ect l love the fact when you go to them you have peace of mind and can fell your animal will be safe in there hands and the staff are very kind and caring X
Simon and Leah are amazing. They came to visit us at home with our dog and took the time to get to know her needs and quirks. It was obvious they had a very calming effect on her and she took to them quickly. She has the best day when she goes to stay with them at doggy day care. So much so that I'm worried she won't want to come back one day. Highly recommend!

Simon and Leah are amazing! They are truly passionate about what they do and are so caring and so so helpful, often at short notice. They are super reliable and dependable and very professional. My Husksy absolutely loves them both and they are so kind to her.. she gets taken on some lovely walks and has been so calm and well behaved since they have been walking her. Simon, Leah and their team of fab dog walkers are simply brilliant! I can rest assured that my dog is safe and getting good exercise/socialisation. Good communication, value for money, trustworthy and reliable. I've relied on Simon and Leah for dog sitting too - a home from home for my dog. They've gone out of their way to help pick up and drop off, as a non-driver, and haven't ever charged extra for this! Lovely folks who really do love pets! :)
I didn't know Simon and Leah before they started boarding my dog for me. Simon and Leah are completely professional, before starting regular boarding for me, they met with me to discuss, what I needed when I needed it and discussed in detail about my dog and her needs. She always looks forward to seeing them! I do drive to Colchester for home boarding but I wouldn't trust anyone else to take care of my dog. Friendly, reliable and caring!
When I met Simon and Leah I knew they were the right people to trust with my doggo. For the last month Diego has had a 1 hour weekly morning walk with them. I pay 1 month up front and it's really reasonably priced. Diego is so excited to see Simon on a Wednesday morning and comes back a happy and well exercised boy! We have been so so impressed with the level of service we have received for our two spaniels from We Love Pets Colchester. They are so flexible and our pups absolutely love their visits from Maria! The photos and videos always bring a smile to our face, and we would highly recommend to other pet owners. We now have two very happy pups whilst we’re out at work!
We never thought our bunnies would bond after two very bad introductions at home. Jo works miracles, she's friendly and nice and keeps you up to date. Jo bonded my 2 bunnies within the 2 weeks of having them. She kept me updated on their progress with daily videos and messages which was lovely. I would definitely recommend Jo she is truly amazing
I would just like to say a massive thank you to jo for everything she has done for me.I had no hope to bond my two buck’s together after almost 6 months of attempting it myself. Jo was able to make them best friends within two weeks! They had there ups and downs but Jo made sure to keep me in the loop daily with videos and photos of how they was getting along. You can see the love and care she has for her own rabbits and others. My boys have been home for almost a week now and are still best buds. I would 100% recommend jo’s services to anybody.

A fantastic and brilliant service! Nicola and Dan have done wonders with our dog Ruby, a rescue dog who we was told would never be able to be off lead. However when at Dogs Life she is able to be off lead on her walks with her doggy pals and can be seen to be living her best life in the photos posted. Would highly recommend this amazing doggy day care.

River, my ex-racer Greyhound has had many wonderful stays with Nina. It's very reassuring that whilst we are away on our holidays, River is enjoying hers too. Nina keeps us updated on her adventures with photos from their walks in the woods, by the sea or having cuddles on the sofa. As well as offering a home from home environment, Nina has been great helping build the confidence in both River and I with off lead training. Nina always goes above and beyond to care for River, even sleeping with her on the floor during firework night. River and I could not recommend For the Love of Paws enough...Absolutely a 5* rating from us. 🐾
Nina easily formed a strong bond with my nervous rescue dogs. They quickly came to love walks and spending time with her. She is kind and patient with dogs and completely trustworthy. I was able to go on holiday abroad knowing that my dogs were happy, safe and being very well cared for by Nina. If you're looking for kind, reliable dog care, I highly recommend Nina.

My doggy companion always knows that she is soon going off on another holiday as soon as I get her Barking Mad bag out and start getting packing it - her tail starts wagging, and she knows that lovely, friendly Julie will be coming to take her safely to her holiday host, where she will have a fab time being spoiled by a welcoming, caring family. I can go off on my own breaks safe in the knowledge that my dog will be well cared for and happy, and we owners get regular text updates and pics of our dogs. I could not be happier with the service.
Julie has been an absolute blessing to our family. She runs the Barking Mad Colchester and Tendering branch with such professionalism and care and we cannot recommend her enough. We do a lot of traveling and are so grateful for the peace of mind that Barking Mad provides. You can relax while on holiday knowing that your dog is having a holiday too! Our golden retriever Snow has the time of her life when she visits her Barking Mad host families - we know because of the lovely postcard we get from Snow upon her return! Julie also texts me pictures of Snow’s holiday and lets me know that Snow has settled in her holiday home. When Julie comes to pick Snow up, she can hardly wait to leave and runs to the car. Even just seeing us pack up her Barking Mad bag gets Snow excited! We are so grateful to Julie for the exceptional service she has given us.
