Kelly and Sam are some of the most caring, compassionate people we've ever met. We were thrilled they were back in the area and could housesit for us, and as always, they were good to us (emails and pictures and updates!) and GREAT to our animals. We even threw them some curveballs this time with one cat and one sheep requiring medication; of course they were all over the extra responsibility. We were able to enjoy our two weeks out of the country with so much peace of mind and hope they enjoyed their time relaxing at our farm.
We loved our sit with Gemma and Rodrigo. There communication was amazing which made it easy to make plans and communicate about there animals. We had lots of cuddles and fun walks with Caju after gaining his trust and Miso and Cubby are lovely cats. Jakob and I miss them all already. It was helpful to have a handover in person to meet the animals and get shown what to do. We are grateful to spend an extra night with Gemma and Rodrigo to get to know each other on a deeper level!
Molly is such a fun and energetic dog, I miss her already! Adam and Lydia live in a lovely neighborhood with a great trail to go on runs with Molly which was quite fun. They’re incredibly kind and welcoming, all together a wonderful stay in a beautiful home with the bestest doggo.
Melissa and the home was fabulous. She was so attentive and caring and even left treats for me. Obviously, the pups Luna and Wrigley were adorable and we watched tv at night together. Highly recommend this house sit and Melissa.
I have been able to see that Patricia loves the animals, and they love her. And I have also seen all their needs that she is not meeting. Because I cannot and do not want to ignore the pain of any being, it is so important for me to collaborate with sensitive pet parents who prioritize the care of their animals and offer me the right conditions to accompany them if I do not end up sacrificing my own welfare, as has been the case. Patricia did not explain anything in her profile about the needs of her animals; the only thing she told me was that Buddy needs some drops to moisturize his eyes. I therefore interpreted that they were emotionally and physically regulated dogs. A month before the date, Patricia contacted me to tell me that she had rescued a Podenco mother with her four puppies and that if it was ok for me to do the sits taking care of the 7 dogs. It made me cry and told her that she could count on me and that even though I knew it would be more work for me, I wanted to support her and enjoy the puppies. She told me that she wanted to feed the mother well, and I spent an hour and a half advising her for free via WhatsApp, explaining in detail what food would cover all the nutritional requirements. When I arrived in Sotogrande, I found the following situation: 1. Buddy, who is a noble and good-natured dog, has severe separation anxiety. When when he feels alone, he cries and barks, day or night. Also, due to a lack of exercise and inadequate food, he had significant excess body fat and was always thirsty, peeing, and taking huge, mushy poops. 2. Lizzie is older and tired of the stress Buddy brings her. She was being fed cans of cat food. She does not enjoy walks with Buddy; she needs to slow down. 3. The three adult dogs were pooping and peeing in the house. The area where Molly was with the puppies smelled bad, and there was a lot of mess and garbage. I removed food, household items, and power cords because the four puppies were chewing everything playfully. 4.Patricia never asked me if I needed anything. The fireplace that she says she has in her profile she doesn't use, and before leaving she turned off the heating because "it's too expensive" leaving a butane stove to heat us, which ran out in two days. I asked her for the bathtub plug, and she told me I could buy it myself. I had no hair dryer; the air fryer was dirty, as were the oven and dishwasher. I had to insist that she give me the drops Buddy needed for his eyes and his long leash so he could enjoy himself on walks. I asked her several times for the correct food I needed so I could regulate the animal's metabolism. Before she left, I told her that I had not slept because I had to take Buddy downstairs three times to pee and poop and asked for help with cleaning the next few days. Not only did the help not come, but when she left, she told me via WhatsApp to call her only for emergencies because she needed to disconnect for a few days. With her actions, she made it clear to me that for her, it was not important that I was well. All the emergencies that happened, like being trapped because of a broken door, I solved on my own. I am a problem solver and an independent woman. I was shocked by her communication and the little care and support she was offering me. It was really heartbreaking. Although I wanted to leave, my conscience wanted me to stay and improve the situation of these precious beings. So I did. After listening to each of the animals, I created a very rigorous routine that took me all day. As I had brought extra food with me, I stayed in the house without going out during my stay. I sent Patricia a whole day of live videos, showing her the routine, explaining step by step why and with what objective I was doing each thing, as well as the results I was already getting. Even though I gave her a beautiful professional job, she showed no interest in learning; she just wanted me to do the work. The feeding change is absolutely necessary for Buddy to decrease physiological stress, and I was only able to give him nutrition limited to the foods she decided to buy, even though I explained to her several times why the missing foods were so important. At one point, she told me that all cockers spaniel suffer separation anxiety because “it is in their DNA”. Genetics only indicate a tendency. Buddy was suffering because he was not getting the nutrition, attention, boundaries, and joyful exercise he needed. It was very satisfying to see the first fruits of my labor: all three dogs loved the new real food and made compact poops once or twice, which made clean up much easier. Buddy lost body fat and stopped being thirsty and hungry. He was more emotionally regulated, had more real energy, and when he finished the day tired, he slept in one go. Lizzie was really grateful for my cuddles and for me taking care of Buddy so she could be calm and enjoy the nutritious food. She especially loves chicken wings and red meat! Molly went from being very fearful to seeking my love, giving me kisses, and asking me to take her for walks when she needed to relieve herself and take a break from mothering in the afternoons. I made sure to provide them with nutritious food and warmth with hot water bottles since there was no heat in their space either. It was so nice when I put the hot water bottles on them as they all gathered around to nurse. After this experience, I assume it is my responsibility to make sure I have the information on what the animals are like and need and the conditions I will be in, as well as to match the pets parents in the way they care to provide a nurturing and fun experience for me as well. I hope that with this information, you can decide if this home is for you according to your personality and interests. Patricia I stay in a very nice and comfortable room with a beautiful view and a private bathroom.

This sit was a delight! Mookie and Rascal are such loving personalities, definitely big dogs but sweethearts once they get comfortable with you. X is the mom of the house, very relaxed and Lightening is pretty independent and does his own thing. Communicating with Elizabeth was easy and effortless; we got along great. The home is very comfortable and the backyard is beautiful; you can tell Elizabeth has put a lot of love and care into her space. The neighborhood is friendly and definitely walkable. I really enjoyed this sit and would absolutely come back!

Victoria has looked after Oscar for a year now and he truly loves her, she is always flexible with my plans and looks after Oscar as if he is her own! Victoria is amazing at looking after our pup Reggie. He loves going to stay with her, sometimes we wonder whether he wants to come home he always seems to have so much fun! Victoria took fantastic care of Cooper our cockapoo. He’s really friendly but does get anxious if I’m not around. I have tried the doggie daycare option but he can’t settle - he needs human attention rather than lots of other dogs. So Victoria’s 1-1 care is perfect. The photos and messages throughout the day were great, but I was confident from the meet and greet session that he was in good hands - he was his usual curious self and Victoria was obviously very comfortable with him exploring her home and ( rather embarrassingly for me) her wash basket! I would totally recommend her and definitely use her fantastic service again.
Victoria is a life saver. I have to travel out of town every couple of weeks and with my partner working the early shift, Victoria is there to help. She is reliable, friendly and my little puppy enjoys spending time with her too. What I also appreciate is that she is flexible with my travel times and sends pics throughout the day of my little boy. I’m so glad she is around to help.

Victoria has been amazing with our 5 year old rescue dog, Klara. She really struggles with seperation anxiety and is a known escape artist so we were admittedly really nervous about leaving her with anyone however, Klara had a great time and settled in so surprisingly quickly - Victoria clearly has the magic touch! Just knowing that Victoria is there when we are both in the office or when we need to go out for a few hours just feels like a real life line when you have a dog with seperation anxiety. Couldn't recommend her highly enough!!
Kate & Shay are the perfect cat sitters, I've used their services for the last 3 years after my vet recommended them as trustworthy & caring - which they've proved to be. I have a very nervous rescue cat but she immediately took to them at first meeting! On my last trip, my flight home was cancelled at the last minute but it was no problem for Lucky Paws to schedule an extra feeding until I could get home again the next day. Very happy with them in every way :)

Lucky Paws have been our cat sitters for the last 18 months for our nervous rescue cat. They have been perfect and I feel totally confident leaving her with them. I can see from the videos that my cat adores them. They are the only people she’ll tolerate apart from me and my husband.

Our shihtzu x poodle, Pablo loves his weekly trip to Peaches Pooches. As proven by his excitement when he’s collected & when we bump into them on non-daycare days! Sarah and Johnny are always very accommodating and help when we have any last minute dog care needs. I should also add that they went to great lengths to ensure Pablo knew their home and was comfortable before he boarded, which we greatly appreciated!
The service Sarah provides is exceptional! Herself and Johnny take amazing care of our sprocker Vinnie, who is always ecstatic to see them both. It is such relief to know Vinnie is both safe and having fun whilst we are at work. They also offer over night services which we can also vouch for! If you are looking for a day care for your pooch I would highly highly recommend peaches pooches :) - they also send picture updates during the day which are sometimes the highlight of my day!

Our 2 year old spaniel has been going to Sarah and Johnny for nearly a year now and I couldn’t recommend them enough. She’s a typical attention seeking nervous spaniel so initially I was worried about her going to daycare but absolutely loves going to theirs everyday for long walks and cuddles and has really become more confident in the past year. With regular photos and updates I am always assured she’s happy, playing with the other dogs and naps on the sofa. Sandra has taken care of my kitty Hazel twice now while I’ve been traveling. She is absolutely the best cat sitter I have ever had! I know Hazel is in good hands while I’m away. I’m a very nervous cat mom and hate being away from my girl but she makes it easy. She is incredibly communicative and sends tons of photos every single visit. Hazel is pretty shy but very comfortable with Sandra and always comes out to play. I trust her very much and I’m so lucky to have someone so reliable take care of my cat. Cannot recommend Love Cats enough. We felt completely at ease handing over our keys to the extremely capable Yasmin. The morning and evening updates with loads of pictures of our little fur ball was the highlight of our day while on holiday. Yas went above and beyond watering house plants and sorting a freezer that started to defrost. Very very impressed, will use again!

Since having our cat Pepper, we have been using Love Cats Pet Sitters and they have been the most amazing, caring and trustworthy cat sitters we could have wished for. The ladies at Love Cats are wonderful, Pamela has looked after my two babies the most. They are so used to her now that the shy one allows her to groom her. it makes going away Ok knowing that someone will look after you babies just the same as you would.
Yasmin was wonderful, so kind and considerate (our cat is very shy) and we were updated with photos and messages each day we were away to let us know everything was fine. Love Cats were recommended to me by a friend, and I would recommend them to others too.
Sandra has been excellent when she has been round to look after our cats. They both can be timid with new people however from the daily updates and photos it is easy to see that they feel very comfortable with her! The photos makes me feel secure that they are ok too! The service has been great - they are very efficient and get back to you extremely promptly over email or when scheduling visits. Couldn’t recommend them enough
Love Cats has a great service. For a reasonable price they actually spend time with your cat - it's not just food in a bowl and go. We get pictures and updates that make it easier to feel OK about leaving your cat behind. Sue is fabulous, she's a total pro and a lovely person. When she's been unavailable the service has set us up with other people who have also been great. Fully recommend.
Have been using Love Cats for about 18 months now and am very happy with the service they provide. It's usually Sandra who looks after our 2 cats when we're away, and although they often aren't great with strangers she has spent the time getting to know them on visits and they seem very comfortable with her. She often sends us photos of them whilst we're away, and I would 100% recommend Love Cats to anyone looking for cat sitters in the area.

Our pup loves Paws and Pause - she can’t hold her excitement when we drop her off in the mornings! This place has been one of the best decisions we made for her, she has become so comfortable around other dogs and is so tired when back home (which is a sign she’s had lots of fun!). The Paws and Pause team is also so wonderful. They care about the dogs like they are their own: they cuddle, reward and entertain each pup with such care, set up such fulfilling games, and update their instagram stories very regularly (so we can keep track of what pups are up to). They are generally very communicative and accommodating to last minute requests, emails, and even WhatsApps. Thank you to Paws and Pause for making our lives easier and making our pup’s life much more exciting on Wednesdays!

Watson can be a bit of a nervous, grump sometimes, but your staff is brilliant with him. The way they handle him with such care and patience is truly heartwarming. I also can't thank you enough for all the enrichment games and activities you provide. Watson comes home absolutely pooped, but in the best way possible. It's clear he's had a blast and gotten lots of love and attention. Knowing that Watson is in such good hands while I'm at work is such a relief. It's like his own little vacation spot, and I'm almost jealous! So, thank you again for taking such great care of my furry sidekick!
Our lovely girl goes to Paws and Pause twice a week and she loves it! The staff are always friendly and happy to help and they really do have the dog's best interest at heart. She has been coming since she was a 14 week old pup and every evening after her daycare day she is tired and happy. 10/10 would recommend.
Our pooch's favourite place - absolutely wonderful! I'm convinced that is she ever got lost (knock on wood) she would sniff her way back to Paws and Pause and not home! The team go above and beyond to make Paws a happy and enriching place for the dogs, while supporting people facing difficult circumstances. Our pup has been going to this dog school (it really is!) for about 4 months and has loved every second of it. What more can you ask for? Perfect opening hours (8-1830), great booking and payment system, constant video updates on how your pooch is getting on, lovely and professional customer (human) service and a doggy advent calendar - they have it all. I only wish there were more spaces on Wednesdays! ;)

Paws and Pause is honestly the best thing I could have ever done for my then puppy and now full grown doggo. She comes home tired after learning new skills and having enrichment games all day. I also really appreciate how socialized my dog has become and how good her understanding of boundaries with other dogs is after being at Paws and Pause for nearly a year. The team is the best and we love how Grace and Jodie have created a space and business with a mission that really means something and empowers others.
Paws and Pause is just wonderful. I first brought my pup to the puppy socialisation course which was brilliant in gently helping my nervous dog to get used to being in the company of, and then playing with, others. Since then she has blossomed into a confident teenager who loves to go to daycare there - she's always enthusiastic when she realises where we are going, and always well looked after when we get there.
Our dog loves it here! A great service, they are always attentive to my dog’s needs as well as helpful when I need advice as a first time owner! He always has a full and busy day of activities and we get to check in on how he's doing throughout the day, which is great and always makes me jealous when I’m stuck in the office! Also a brilliant social enterprise, and an excellent support and addition to the local community.
This place and the team are amazing, my Greyhound is a super anxious guy and he's totally blossomed in just the few weeks that he's been coming here. The socialisation and care that he's recieved has really positively affected him so I would recommend Paws and Pause to any dog owner - especially if you're aprehensive because you have a more anxious dog :) I'd say to just go for it cause the team are great.
We can’t speak highly enough of Dave’s Paws. Professional, friendly, honest and reliable. It is the biggest comfort knowing our much loved dog is being looked after as though she was Dave’s own dog. There are no long hours in a van and it is a personalised service. Dave keeps in touch and always does his best to help, even at the last minute. Dave and Mike have always gone out of their way to ensure that our dog (and before that, our cats!) were cared for and really well looked after. I Honestly don't know what I would have done without Dave. Harley was my first dog so the whole process was a learning curve for me Truly enjoyable. Having Dave take Harley on regular walks with 'the pack' other dogs has been an incredible experience for both Harley and myself. She absolutely loves Dave and can hardly contain her excitement on his arrival to collect her. His experience and knowledge is outstanding. Having that peace of mind that your fur baby is in good hands and safe is priceless. Dave sends images of Harley throughout the day of her having fun in the park, which is really reassuring. If out at work, Dave returns Harley and lays out her already prepared food and water before getting her settled and leaving her to rest. These services really are a god send! Due to relocation, both myself and Harley will miss Dave and his services massively. I would highly recommend Dave's Paws to anyone. You can rest assured your pet will be safe with Dave and the pack!
Cannot recommend Dave and his partner Mike enough. Wonderful people who really care about animals. They treat our dogs as their own and have been looking after them for years either with dog walks or coming to stay when we are away. Word of warning - your dogs might end up loving Dave & Mike more than they do you!!

Dave and Mike have been amazing with our french bulldog Billie. When I'm out at work it is such a relief to know she is so well looked after and cared for. Dave looks after my two cats, Charlie and Audrey, when we go away on holiday. He takes great care of them and ensures we know they are doing well and even sends videos/photos of them. Chris has been looking after my dog for over 6 years now, and I wouldn't trust anyone else while I am away. Chris owns a house with a garden in a very quiet and safe street. I get daily updates and pictures of my furry friend, and I can see it is very well looked after. Chris' family have dogs too, and it's nice as they can play with Billion when coming down from Manchester. Chris is very attentive to the diet for my dog too, as he needs special care. Once, Billion fell ill while I was abroad and Chris took him to the Vet, which is just down the road. Likely Chris recognised the early symptoms and acted quickly. Very convenient too for emergencies. Moreover, Chris is a good friend to me, always available and generous. As a dog owner, I know how difficult it is to give our best friend away sometimes. Especially to people who we have never met, but I would highly recommend Chris.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Chris as a walker, sitter or all round dog carer. When my Beau was alive, he was the most important thing in the world to me, and I would only leave him in the care of someone I really trusted, like Chris. He walked Beau on several occasions and also looked after him when I was abroad. I have also seen how brilliant he is around other dogs - caring and giving them the positive affirmation discipline they need.

Claw & Paw were brilliant, Brett took care of our cat Kismet for a week whilst we were away and sent daily photo updates which we really appreciated. Previously we have used catteries and he always comes back rattled and unhappy but when we got back this time he seemed very happy and definitely benefited from being able to stay in his own house. Will definitely use Claw & Paw pet sitting again! It was easy to book, and Brett is very trustworthy and our cat loved him!

Brett was great. Really well organised. Easy to arrange. Came and did a pre visit to check everything out. Felt much happier having someone come in rather than just using the automatic feeder. The cat seemed happy. Would definitely use again.
Knowing our cats are being visited and looked after by Brett while we are away gives us peace of mind, and means we have a little bit of flexibility when we both need to be away from home for work or holiday. We look forward to the photo updates from Brett when we are away!
Claw and Paw are super professional and have looked after our cat Michael really well. Brett met with us beforehand and talked me through the process then sent me pictures every day while I was on holiday. Sometimes Michael huffs a bit when we go away but we came home to a very happy cat. I had to go away urgently after this and Claw & Paw were able to step in and ensure Michael was well looked after. I highly recommend their service!

We found Brett at relatively short notice after deciding against using a cattery and couldn’t be more happy with him and his services. He was very professional and asked all of the right questions on the initial meeting such as vet information, medical and food requirements etc. He was able to come at our preferred times to feed and spend some time with our cat and even put the bins out on collection day. He sent us daily updates and photographs of our cat via WhatsApp which is a nice touch and very reassuring. The online portal is great where you can make sure all the information Brett has about your pet is up to date and he has the correct days. The prices are also reasonable for the service. Our cat seemed very content when we arrived back home. We will definitely be using Claw and Paw pet sitting again and would highly recommend.
I can not recommend Brett enough. He is so organised and has been so trustworthy when looking after my cat - he’s really excellent with her. I moved to Tooting recently and was overwhelmed by the amount of dog walkers there are to choose from. Pawtown came highly recommended to me by my new vet and I am so glad I chose to use Clare and her team to help me look after my boy Charlie. We use the dog walking service and their doggy daycare on days that I have to work late. Clare is not just a dog walker, she treats my dog like he is her own and always goes the extra mile for me. I work shifts and have found Clare to be super flexible and reliable. I could not wish for more!
Love Cats has been a lifesaver - as an expat in London, it was hard to find a reliable cat sitter for the holidays, which quickly led to a lot of stress about going home to see family. But our neighbour recommended this company and after some initial hesitation about hiring someone from an app, I took the plunge and honestly couldn’t be more pleased. Lauryn is absolutely fantastic: with almost no effort she got on the good side of my shy Simba, and adores my more outgoing Kona, which makes me so comfortable leaving them in her care for extended periods of time. She’s extremely communicative and sends loads of photos, is flexible on timings, doesn’t mind my absurd “cat mom” lists / requests / methods (and happily takes note of every single one to follow to the letter!), and most importantly seems to enjoy her time with my babies almost as much as I do. I can’t recommend her and the company enough!
