It was a delight to spend a few days in this beautiful house and look after Taz. I really appreciated the video tour of the house prior to the sit and Philippa left very comprehensive instructions as well which were really useful. The Alexa instruaction labels left out in each room were a brilliant idea too! Although only for a few days, there was beautiful sunshine and this made for excellent coastal walking and amazing views. I would love to be considered for any future sits.
Daphne and Dolly are the sweetest dogs and they are best friends. I really enjoyed my time with them and the lovely company they gave me. Also, Cathy and Dave were both great hosts and have a beautiful home in a lovely area of Chepstow, great for walks. I really recommend sitting for Cathy and therefore we have already agreed on another sit!
Al and Jane Ann are awesome! Cheri and I shared a few meals with them both before and after their trip. They have a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Both of them have led amazing lives and have many interesting stories to share. They are definitely kindred spirits. Jake, the yellow lab, is an old fellow and is sadly on his last legs. But he still tries his best to play with his younger sidekick Poppy. Poppy is an absolute cuddle-bunny who will try to press every inch of her body against you. She is fun-sized (not quite "mini" but small for a lab) and up for tug-of-war or a cuddle anytime. They love to frolic in the yard and go for car rides in the Lab-Mobile. These two will always be in our hearts. If you ever get the chance to meet them, do it! They are great company.
Annik and Stuart have a lovely cosy home. They were very welcoming, and communication was great at all times. I met with them before the sit to meet Ziggy and get to know her. They were very honest and informative about what to expect while caring for Ziggy. Ziggy is not very social with other dogs, though she would love to play with them, she gets so excited and rambunctious that this portrays as aggressiveness. Nevertheless, she was always well-behaved on her lead when passing or having other dogs around her. She is an adorable, playful pup. She wants to play tug-o-war with her toys and brings them to you to tease you to grab them and throw them for her. She loves her walks around the property and runs ahead to investigate, then returns to make sure you are still with her. She has good recall and is a bundle of energy. She waits patiently in the morning to see if you are awake, and as soon as she senses movement, she is all tail wagging and excited to greet you for a new day. This was a very enjoyable sit with Ziggy, and Annik and Stuart were great hosts. I would recommend them highly. Thank you for sharing your home and gorgeous pup with me.
This was a lovely house sit in a perfect location. Only a couple of minutes walk down to the beach. The small beach by the sailing club was dog friendly, so great for swimming. Really great views of the sea from bedroom and lounge, as on the second floor. Wes was a really well behaved easy dog who you could take anywhere. He was also very good at travelling in the car. I didn’t meet the owners but they were really friendly and welcoming when speaking on WhatsApp. I was shown in by Amy’s mother, who was very good at explaining everything. Unfortunately the small portable wifi did not work on my mobile or laptop but Amy’s parents soon sorted and swapped with their larger Huawei modem a few hours later. All connected and no problems for the rest of my stay. Parking can be a little difficult at times though, especially at weekends. During my stay I had a very pleasant visit to Brownsea Island with Wes, meeting up with Amy’s mother and her dog for a very enjoyable walk around the island. Much appreciated. There are lots of lovely places to explore around Swanage though, where you can walk to Studland via Old Harry’s Rocks in one direction, or you can head past Durlston with plenty of different tracks along the coast, or a little further inland, where lots of pretty flower meadows. All with fantastic views of the coast or inland hills. Places to walk and visit are endless. A visit to the Square and Compass at Worth Matrtavers is a must. Renowned for its local Purbeck stome seats and tables and also its very unique fossil museum. Really enjoyed having Wes to accompany me to so many intefresting places, as he was never any trouble at all. I can definitely highly recommend this sit, as in such a scenic location, with fantastic views and the perfect pet! Thank you so much for choosing me to sit for you. I had a fantastic time.

Kate and Kalmpets was the best thing that could have happened for my staffy as a puppy, not only did she diagnosed his problem he then spent almost 3 years going to once weekly doggy daycare at Kalmpets when it was in Balcatta.. the staff were brilliant and my boy CharlieBrown thrived… he still sees Dr Kate for check ups every few years… I loved the Kalmpets experience… Thank you to everyone there… Peta First photo was taken at Kalmpets when it was in Balcatta.. Well set up for anxious pets. My dog's issues were discussed, and the proposed action plan was outlined using non-technical jargon. The subsequent summary was provided (and it was clear and easy to follow). Parking is just outside the door.
Dr Kate Lindsey is an amazing Behaviour Veterinarian. She is an extremely kind and supportive person. I am so grateful to have found Kate and highly recommend her.
Taking on a Rescue dog is not easy, and Dr Kate provided so much help and support. She is very caring, realistic with her solutions and non-judgemental. My girl Meeka has come such a long way from when we first saw Dr Kate and she has definitely helped Meeka to live her "best life". I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Kate and Kalmpets to anyone in a similar situation as I was.
I can’t recommend Kalmpets enough! My vet referred us to see Dr Kate for our very anxious, fear reactive border collie puppy and my goodness, it’s helped us so much! She then referred us onto a dog trainer specific to our situation and it’s really given us hope and the tools to know how to deal with our almost 1 year old pup. Kate has also given us dietary advice, we have continued email support, and she spent a thorough hour and a half (at least) assessing our pup and educating us. I’ve been recommending her to anyone who will listen! :-) Thank you Kate!
Waste of money. I got given a 2 page plan for my frenchie for my $500. I was told he growls when he has had enough. Well yeah. not too difficult to diagnose that one. I was told to take him to a dog trainer. There was also no follow up after the initial consultation. Like I said waste of money.
The best place to go for effective, evidence-based help with your dog's behaviour. Little Mango is certainly a lot happier for it. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Dr Kate is absolutely amazing! She's always going above and beyond to help my boy. She does a great job of making you feel like your not in it alone when dealing with a difficult dog. Can not recommend her enough!!
We were fortunate to have Tiffany stay at our home and take care of our pup for a period of 10 days. She took him to all his favourite places and was the most attentive 'aunty.' House and Pet Sitters are a very professional operation and I would trust anyone they recommended for this role.
I would highly recommend Jenny and her team of sitters. We had Henry come and look after our 2 babies. Our boy is very anxious and can be a lot to handle but Henry was amazing with both of them. I had daily updates with photos which made our holiday much more relaxing. On our return home, the babies were both happy and healthy, the house was also clean and tidy. Had a great experience for our two mini schnauzers. Our sitters were Ben & Liz and they were great. We did have to prompt for updates throughout the two weeks, but what we got was photos and videos of VERY happy puppies, clearly getting a lot of love. The house was left immaculate with bedding stripped, washed and drying on the line by 8.30am! We have requested another sit for the next holiday and hoping for Ben & Liz again!

We have used House and Pet Sitters for about 5 years. Recently the quality of the sits has been very poor. Our most recent , and last, experience was that the sitter came home drunk, had left his car and our house keys somewhere and so he tried to climb the front fence. When he couldn’t do this, he climbed the neighbour fence, at 3.30am, and then climbed into our yard. He ripped off our gutters and down pipe in the process. Unfortunately Jenny at House and Pet Sitters thought we were unreasonable in complaining and cancelled our future sits because “our requirements could not be met”. Unbelievable.
In highly recommend Pet and House Sitters. I have used them a couple of times and have always been very happy with the service. Our sitter takes wonderful care of our elderly dog and our house is always left spotlessly clean with a treat and some necessities left in the fridge for us. Jenny is very helpful and accommodating. Our teen kitten Baxter has now stayed twice at furbaby retreat. Both times he has come back more confident with new people and has been as happy as can be. Happy to be home whilst not being annoyed or upset. We have been more relaxed on holidays from the daily updates we are sent and knowing that he is in good hands - with people who are paying attention to him, playing and the fact he gets dedicated attention & enrichment, which I couldn't guarantee he would get with a pet sitter staying in our home. The change in environment and routine hasn't been an issue (like all cats... I'm sure he would let us know if it had been 😉). It's clear Jess cares about the furbabies who stay, and she has put in effort to connect with Bax from the moment we arrive with him to the time he is packed up for home. Thanks Jess & team, Baxter will be visiting for future holidays! 😀
1st time stay for 5 nights. My cat was taken care of with Love from the second we entered. Great care was given to ensure everything was thought of. The entire place is spotless and run very efficiently. The team are wonderfully calm and gentle and clearly love and understand cats. Really appreciated the daily WhatsApp videos and photos. It was lovely and reassuring to see how she went from day 1 (very shy) to proudly strutting about, climbing and exploring with tail held high and playing. Nobody enjoys leaving their pets in these places but Furbaby Retreat really makes it a lot less painful when you know your little one is taken care of so well. Thank you Ginger and Jess. Great job.
Jess and the team truly cared for the cats. This is the third time my cat, QQ had stayed at Furbaby. QQ seemed very contented and happy. I appreciated the daily updates of how my little QQ is doing to give me a peace of mind. QQ enjoyed her daily walking exercise at the play room and the massages and cuddles from Jess and the team. The place is kept very clean and facilities were of high standard. I would highly recommend their services.
My 1 year old Siamese cat has stayed here a few times when necessary. I was worried about her as she needs a lot of love but is very wary of strangers. Last time she settled in right away and even wanted to say goodbye to Jess before we left. They always keep you updated with photos and information on their day. If you need someone else to care for your cat, for a short while, for whatever reason, this is the place to take them!!!
I can’t recommend Furbaby Retreat highly enough! Our anxious boy stayed here for just over 2 weeks while we were overseas and he absolutely loved it! The wonderful staff at Furbaby Retreat managed his special diet, supplements and medications, and the daily picture and video updates made me feel so at ease. He has settled in at home again beautifully too. We will definitely book him in again next time we go on holiday.
We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Furbaby Retreat when we had to board our cat whilst our apartment underwent renovations. They were great and communicating with us with updates on our Furbaby, and how he was adjusting to the change. We loved the pictures they sent us and videos, it made the separation anxiety I had easier to deal with! All the staff we dealt with were lovely and compassionate and they deeply cared for all of the cats in their care. We will definitely use them again if the need arises. ❤️
I 100% recommend Furbaby Retreat for anyone needing a safe place to look after their furbaby for a period of time. I recently had my baby stay here for 7 nights - I had booked the glamping suite for her, thinking it would be the best room given her general energy at home and boisterous nature. Unfortunately, she was not a fan and was all too overwhelmed by the change in environment, the window and not being around her people. The team at Furbaby Retreat were attentive in their concern for her wellbeing and care, keeping me regularly updated with photos and messages. We ended up moving her to a standard suite and she improved a lot greatly, clearly my girl is low maintenance and prefers peaceful seclusion. When we were meant to fly home, my partner became unwell and we were forced to extend our stay away. The team at Furbaby were so helpful and understanding, not only showing compassion for Tinkerbell, but my partner as well. They easily kept her for the extra time, alleviating one stress in a pile of many. I was so nervous leaving her for the first time, but the team were amazing. If I need to board her again, I will definitely be using them again!

Alex and Cindy were fantastic looking after Bailey. Plenty of space for him to run around and explore. There was other dogs there at the house which Bailey loved playing with, it helps when they are of similar breed and size. Definitely recommend them for your dog sitting needs we will be using them again when we’re away on holidays.
Alex and his family took great care of my dog for a few days while away on a recent trip. They provided regular updates and photos keeping me up to date, and also went above and beyond asking about my dogs daily routine and feeding schedule. We have used AllPets several times a year for over 5 years now and have always felt that we are leaving our pets and home in good hands. We have had some excellent sitters - singles and couples and all very caring and very pet loving people. The girls in the office - Gemma, Lee and Catherine are friendly and Jan runs a very professional business. If we have been away for long sits (4 or more weeks) she usually does a visit to the home to make sure everything is running well. We mention AllPets House sitters to lots of friends and family and thoroughly recommend them. We are just home from two weeks away and we had an excellent young couple Celeste and Fernando looking after Teddy (4 year old Retriever) and Scout (2 year old grey cat). They sent us photos and updates every so often which is lovely when you are away from home and your 'fur babies' . We have our next two trips already booked for this year. We have used All Pet House Sitters twice now - both times we were away for approximately a month overseas and have been delighted with the service we received. On both occasions our house sitters had done a fantastic job looking after both our home and the pets (we have a 6 year old schnauzer/poodle cross and a 3 year old cat). The dog, particularly, can get a bit stressed when we're away and we find it is so much better for him to be cared for in his own environment and sticking to his usual routine. We have been very happy with the care and professionalism shown by all the Allpet staff who handled our bookings. They really understand the anxiety that many pet owners feel when having to leave their beloved fur babies and have thought through all the details very well. It is also reassuring to know that the housesitters have the back up of the office staff at all times in case of any unforeseen eventuality eg delayed flights back home or the like. We would definitely use Allpet's services again and are happy to recommend them to any pet lovers looking for reliable and caring house and pet sitters.
We used All Pet House Sitters to look after our very precious Dalmatian in August/September 2015 when we were overseas for a month. We were thrilled with everything about this service. Jan was so professional and efficient and was an absolute delight to do business with. David and Rachel, our house sitters were so gorgeous. We met them a few times before going away and couldn't of been happier. While we were away we received constant updates and photos which was brilliant. Our dog Lilly was so spoilt and so well cared for. We would definitely recommend this service and will be using it again when leaving our pets when we are on holidays. When our original house / dog sitter plans fell through, we came across Allpet House Sitters. Our first experience with All Pet House Sitters was absolutely fantastic. Claire and Lucas were amazing with our little dog, two cats, goldfish, garden and house. Alison and Bob were amazing. From the first time I met them, they gave off a warm and friendly vibe and our cat felt immediately comfortable with them. When we were away on our trip, Alison kept us updated with photos of our pets and any other info from home. When we arrived back from our holiday, the house was spotless, there was fresh bread in the kitchen and fresh milk in the fridge. All the staff at K9to5 Littles are just amazing. The way they look after your fur baby is absolutely top notch, so much so that my sausage dog is a tad depressed when he comes home! lol He loves it there so much. I’m incredibly grateful to have such a fabulous daycare for my boy to go & know he’s always in the best of hands.
We have been sending Sunny to K9-5 for the past two years and can’t recommend this doggy day care enough. The staff are amazing, Sunny is always so excited at drop off to see her friends, the photo updates are fabulous and the birthday parties are a highlight. It’s such a great way for Sunny to socialise with other dogs in a safe environment and makes us feel so much better heading to work knowing she isn’t sitting at home waiting for us to come home.
My cocker spaniel Reggie loves coming to K9to5!! He is now 2 and been going once a week for about 18 months. He bounds out the car when he arrives and is so excited to play. The staff are all very friendly!
I have been taking my doggo here since the beginning of the year and I feel so incredible grateful to have found such a wonderful daycare that he absolutely loves going too. It was the best decision we made, for him to be socalising with other dogs and being cared for by the amazing friendly staff. They have created such a positive community for all, it is an extremely well run business - I cannot recommend it enough.
My boys Tim Tam and Merlot have been to going to K9to5 daycare for over 13 years and they have received an excellent care from the staffs. They are always happy going to their K9to5 daycare as they can meet and make many friends and get a lot of attention and love from the staff there. I can’t say enough good things about this place! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and at ease. The staff is incredibly friendly and genuinely cares about each and every dog. Our Zoe has the best time playing with her furry friends and always comes home happy and tired. The facilities are clean, spacious, and well-maintained. They have plenty of toys and activities to keep the dogs entertained. I also appreciate the photos they post throughout the day, so I know Zoe is having a great time. It’s clear that the team here loves what they do, and it shows in the way they treat the dogs. I highly recommend this doggy day care to anyone looking for a safe, fun, and loving environment for their pet.
The team at K9 to 5 take so much care and love looking after our little fur babies. My dog Alfie has been going to K9to5 since he was a year old (now 4!) and I can confidently say he is delighted every week when we drop him off. Nothing is ever a worry or bother and the team treat your doggies like their own. I have and will continue to recommend them xx
Our 5-yo labradoodle Samson has been going to K9to5 since he was a puppy and absolutely loves it! He genuinely cannot wait to get out of the car each time we arrive. The staff, doggy birthday parties and overall service is just fantastic. We would be lost without K9to5!
We have been bringing our Gino to K9to5 for over a year and it's honestly the best thing we ever did! Everyone is wonderful here they take such good care of all the dogs, with lots of activities and fun. At the end of the day we have a tired happy boy that can't wait to go back and see all his friends!
Percy has been going to K9-5 for approx 5 years and knows exactly what day of the week day care day is! He is so excited to go and comes home absolutely exhausted from all of the playing! The staff treat him like their own and on the couple of occasions when he needed a little medical attention, they were amazing. The team have created a fun and safe environment for Percy to socialise with other dogs and it has made the world of difference as he has matured. He loves it so much, and so do I !
