Tiiu was a wonderful house sitter. Unfortunately our dog passed away before her stay but we invited her to come and look after our house while we were away. Everything was perfect when we got back. The house was immaculate and she even weeded our dandelions! We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Tiiu. She arrived the day before we left and so we had lots of time to get acquainted. She is a lovely person, extremely reliable and very organized. All our communications were very easy and we felt extremely comfortable having her look after our house. We would highly recommend Tiiu to anyone.

Lulu was 100% attentive & loving to our cat. When we returned he was extremely relaxed and we could tell had been sincerely cared about! Lulu sent us photos and notes regularly as we requested and also took excellent care of our home and garden. We absolutely loved Lulu and you would be very lucky to have her care for your pet and home. She is a true gem!!!

We are incredibly happy with the sit Lydia and Nick did for us the other week, and we will be inviting them to sit for us again! We wholeheartedly recommend them as sitters for the following reasons: They were incredibly good communicators, just the right amount to make sure no issues are missed out and that we're in the loop with what's going on, but not too overbearing that we felt we were constantly in touch. We had extensive conversations about the needs of the cats and the house quirks when they arrived at ours and they were great at asking questions and clarifying where they felt they needed more information. They are reliable and punctual. We met at the arranged time/date and haven't had a single logistical issue the whole sit, although we always prepare for what cannot be controlled by either side! This made being away so easy logistically. They were very caring with our 3 cats, especially with our wee Chestnut who is a scared boy sometimes and required extra attention and effort to make him feel comfortable around new people. They made sure that Nirnroot, who is allergic to meat, kept to her diet and watched her while eating to monitor her food intake and keep the boys away from her. Lastly they definitely gave all 3 cats love, attention, affection and play time and made sure to send us a few pictures of them while we were away. They kept to the house rules and the cat clean up rules. The litters were clean when we came back, the cats were happy and relaxed and the flat was in pristine condition, everything was tidy and the dishes were all done. All round a wonderful experience and we are so grateful to have met them, we hope to also keep in touch as they are both great company too!

Tina and Mark are AMAAAAZING!!!! We "clicked" from the first conversation we had :) It took us 5 minutes to know they are the perfect sitter for Kalimera. They are fun (we had a great dinner together), educated, polite, easy to talk and most importantly they are GREAT sitters. They treated Kalimera as their own, spoiling her with nice food and playing a lot with her. Also, they had the attention and the detail to give us couple of presents, a frame with Kalimera's picture and some nice flowers, which speaks for itself on the TOP class of sitters and persons they are :). Tina and Mark, whenever you are in Amsterdam let us know, our house is open to you to grab a coffee, dinner, a beer and needless to say..... it is also open for anytime you would like to take care of Kalimera :) To all other pet owners... Ella & Abigail were excellent cat-sitters. They were very communicative and responsive, making the entire experience easy and worry-free. I could tell straight away that Fine was in great hands – she was showered with cuddles and playtime, and it was obvious she wasn't missing out on her usual dose of attention. It was evident that my kitty was not cuddle-deprived at all! They left my flat clean and tidy, and my kitty was very happy. I would definitely book them again.

Rachel was such a wonderful sitter! She sent frequent updates on our baby Ziggy, and left our apartment clean and tidy. She even administered allergy medicine to Ziggy twice daily which was a lot to ask for from us. We’re so grateful for Rachel and would love to have her come sit for us again soon!

I had a great time taking care of Rufus and Stinky. They like to play, so be ready for some playtime. Karen and her husband are very organized, they had put together a list with all the important information and everything else was prepared for the cats. Their place is in a quiet neighborhood with a great Mexican restaurant in town.

This was our first sit with TrustedHousesitters and we had a great experience! Kix took about a day to warm up to us but after that he and Alpha were super sweet and loving. Tina was great from the day we booked until the day we left! She was very helpful and we stayed in contact the whole time.

We loved spending a week with Wooster at Emma and Alastair's fabulous house. We're definitely going to miss Wooster who is such a lovable, loving dog, and super easy to take care of. We had lots of great walks, lots of ball throwing, and lots and lots of cuddles.

We had a lovely stay looking after Banjo. Irene and John were very welcoming. Irene gave a full tour of the house and left some excellent recommendations for things to do in the area, along with a brilliant takeaway option ( Thai Gorilla). Banjo is very sweet and easy to take care of. We took Banjo out and about with us everywhere we went, and he enjoyed being out with us. Banjo loved cuddles and trying to find treats in his fabric ball. We would definitely be happy to after Banjo again in the future.

If you like wide, open spaces with dramatic hills to climb & 2 faithful collies by your side, you'll love this sit.  Bonnie took a while to warm to us, but was soon seeking attention & trying to sit on our lap. Monika & Stuart were very welcoming & we enjoyed a meal with them the night before they left. They gave us lots of instructions & were easy to contact with any queries. We had the guest wing to ourselves, with a very comfy bed. The cats & chicken were easy to look after & fresh eggs every day. We'd be very happy to return some day.

Looking after Vixen was a fantastic sit!  Vixen is the most lovable cat and loves a cuddle.  She likes to go out in the evenings (she has her cat flap to come and go as she likes) and then she slept all day while I worked on my laptop! 

Jo has a lovely modern house that has an office to work from if you are working remotely.  A very comfortable guest room as well.  It's just a 20-25 min ride on the bus into the centre of Edinburgh so a fabulous location really.  You can also walk about 10 minutes into Wallyford to a shop where you can get some essentials like milk and a few bits.  

I had a great time here and I hope to go back again!
