We had a lovely time sitting for Dora in Mililani on the beautiful island of Oahu. Dora is the sweetest pup who was very welcoming to us. Anya provided excellent care instructions and communication was so easy, even for simple questions. We were made to feel very comfortable and welcome and could not have asked for a better sit. The condo is very comfortable and close to everything on Oahu. We would be very happy to sit for them again.
Great house sit! ⭐️ Kelly was super welcoming to me and gave me all of the information I needed, including a very comprehensive orientation once I arrived at her place. She was very responsive to any questions I had about both the pets and travel from the airport to her place. Uhu and Hodor are very sweet dogs! They are well behaved around the home and easy to care for, also love to cuddle on the sofa which was nice after a long day. Uhu is quite a nervous dog on walks, especially at night time, and could be frustrating for a more inexperienced dog sitter, but on our morning walks once we got up into the park he was very calm and at ease. They are happy to be left at home for extended periods of time which is great if you are someone looking to see the sights and make the most of the city. Kelly's home is extremely well located, my daily morning walk up to the park was lovely, you can see the whole city from there including the acropolis. It is a 5/10 minute walk to/from the metro and a couple of supermarkets right up the road. 15/20 minute walk to lovely neighbourhoods such as Plaka and Monastiraki where you will find beautiful restaurants and houses. The apartment is very light and airy, with nice balconies and high ceilings. The roof terrace is a great place to work from or just relax with a glass of wine. Had everything I needed, the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that there was quite a lot of dog hair, especially in the bedroom. I'm not a neat freak, I have a dog of my own, but I think it could've been nice if the floor was swept/hoovered before I came. The only other thing is that the light in the bathroom doesn't work, so we had to use solar powered lights which can be a bit annoying. A great house sit though would definitely recommend, wonderful location and lots of interesting things to do! 🥰 Thanks Kelly!
What a delightful experience! Steven and Teri really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and gave us some excellent tourist tips for our weekend. The boys, Max and Louis, were charming and fun to be around. We appreciated the well thought out welcome guide, it made the stay super easy. To top it all of, Teri and Steven's home was a real treat. Thanks for a fab stay!
We loved looking after Gus in Lesley’s beautiful, comfortable home. He is such an affectionate and friendly, fun little dog. The house is in a fabulous location just outside Edinburgh, with beautiful walks into town or countryside, and a direct bus into town (30 mins). Lesley kindly had us to stay the night before her departure - and it was a pleasure to have her back home for dinner the night before we left. Let’s hope we can help with Gus again in the future.
It was beautiful to stay with such educated and precious puppies!! They are adorable and very affectionate! The house is completely beautiful and comfortable, I have spent some excellent days and the communication with Jamie has been great. Thank you very much for this great step for your beautiful house and beautiful puppies.
Kate invited me to stay the evening before and took me to dinner. We reviewed the routine and everything was also in her home manual. I felt we hit it off pretty well and confident about my ability to complete the task. Her two doodles Beans and Batman were exceptional. I absolutely fell in love with them and they will always be special fur babies to me. Kate explained that Charlie has anxiety which she has been diligently working on with CBD. However coming in from the outside I can only speak to what happened during my sit. With almost 40 years of animal experience my assessment of Charlie is not as much anxiety is dominance and aggression. In an unprovoked setting Charlie bit my hand quite hard. I immediately reached out to Kate and THS to report this incident along with pictures of the bite marks and to get clarity regarding Charlie. Kate was apologetic for Charlie biting me; though I felt tension in our text conversations going forward. It is my belief we worked through the incident and I successfully completed the sit leaving on decent terms. Kate’s home is lovely and chic. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Kate gives you plenty of space for your items in the home and use of fridge and pantry items. Kate is extremely conscientious of making a place for you. She clearly cares for her babies and their wellbeing. Caring for Beans and Batman is the best experience they are absolutely the sweetest boys! My only reservation to return would be Charlie.
