We were so happy and glad to have Kathryn and Jared over! They took excellent care of our babies, the house and also revived most of our dead plants!! We came home to a spotless and very well maintained house, happy kitties. Would definitely recommend them and would love to have them over again as well.
Violet was brilliant, easy to be around, and great at communication. She bonded closely with the pets (especially our youngest cat Pumpkin!), let us know of any issues and facilitated their resolution, and asked questions when they were needed while also giving us the freedom to have our holiday. She had experience with all of the animals we have (cats, guinea pigs, chickens) and looked after them well. We came home to a tidy house, and she'd even made birthday cookies for our daughter. We had a great rapport with Violet and would have her back again in a heartbeat! Highly recommended.
Troy and Rebecca were the consummate visitors, caring for my pets and home in exactly the way I would. They were just lovely, friendly and caring, and very personable. They not only brought gifts when they came, they left a lovely soup for me the day they left, so I didn’t have to cook after a long day of driving. I would have them again in a heartbeat, whether I am traveling or no. I feel Like I just made two friends 💞
Denali is a sweet young pup who loves her sniffy walks around the neighborhood and loves her food. This was a short sit (just 35 hours) and Denali warmed to me quickly, coming up for pets and scratches as well as following me as I moved room to room. She has some prey drive for the bunnies in the area so you need to have a firm hold on the leash for when she sees them, and at times she may pull. I kept kibble in my hand and easily redirected her attention for those times. We explored the wonderful neighborhood on numerous walks, there are trails and paths everywhere so I don't think we ever went the same way twice. In between walks Denali was chill, napping, or playing with her rope toy. Maya's home is spotless, full of light, and in a quiet area. The kitchen had everything I needed for meals, and the WiFi was strong. Maya quickly responded both while setting up the sit and while she was away. For my first sit with THS I got lucky with great homeowners and a cheery, happy dog.
