Dog Sitters in Clarksburg, CA

We had agreed to this pet sit months prior to their arrival. It was a 6 week stay. Jenny and Drew arrived less than 12 hours prior to my departure. I picked them up at the airport and took them to lunch at a seaside restaurant. I was so surprised that Jenny had not even read the "home owners manual" that this website provides. I sent the information a good month prior to their arrival. They were not prepared in my opinion or took the house sit very seriously. Nevertheless I had confidence in their abilities after spending time with them. When we arrived at the home I introduced them to my 2 doggies and got them acquainted with the home and area.. Upon my return (6 weeks later) there was missing food in the freezer, missing towels, and some broken items. The dogs seemed very happy and content and Jenny would let me know from time to time that the pets were fine. All in all they were good but I was disappointed in their lack of preparedness and the missing and broken items. I spoke to Jenny prior to writing this review in order to understand what took place while I was away. I was not completely satisfied with her replies. Most importantly my home and dogs were safe and sound. So I'm satisfied.

They were fantastic housesitters. I would not hesitate to have them again. They gave updates often and sent Pictures. They are truly a great find on zeewoi.

Laura stayed with our cat Gemma during the days before and after July 4th when our kitty gets pretty scared. Gemma came out of hiding for Laura and seemed to be very happy. Laura left everything neat and tidy and was a very reliable sitter. She maintained excellent contact during the short stay. Thanks, Laura!

Karlee was an amazing house and cat sitter. We were so lucky to have her sit for us and would love to have her come back again! She is a delightful, caring and outgoing person who also loves the outdoors as much as we do. She took perfect care of our kitties and our house. Our shy cat took to her so well that I’m a bit jealous. She did everything we asked and left the house just as she found it. She communicated frequently and sent the cutest pictures. She is exactly what I always hope for in a sitter

Olivia and Aaron were fantastic sitters! They sent us photos and updates while we gone to keep us posted on how our cats were doing (the cats seemed very happy and well taken care of ☺️) They left our apartment extremely tidy and well taken care of. It looked even better than we had left it! Overall had a great experience with them and would be happy to have them back anytime :)

Julie was a great introduction to zeewoi. She is kind, caring and communicative, sending almost daily text messages to keep me up to date on how our quirky pup was doing. We returned to a clean home and happy dog. We would welcome her back anytime! Thank you Julie.

Sam was superb. Totally capable, caring and clearly great with animals (our dogs adored her) and very easy going. I would love to have her back if ever she came back to the UK! Thank you Sam :)

Derek stayed at our house for 3 weeks and watched our kitties. He was AMAZING! Plenty of photos and videos on the regular. When we came home our house was sparkling clean - he even did the laundry! We would gladly welcome him back to our house for another sit, and you should too.

Rosalie was reliable and covered the basics for me while I was away. I appreciated her last-minute availability. Since she's had other more positive reviews, I assume this was an anomaly for her. It would have been nice to come home to a cleaner house, and not had other details such as a bag of frozen, raw cat food thawed and refrozen into a big lump. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Sara did a great job taking care of our house and two cats. She communicated well and left the house in perfect condition. The kitties were content when we got home, which means they got plenty of attention. She did all of this while in the final month of her PhD work! We'd recommend her highly.

Kathryn was one of my best pet sitters yet! Aahpa dog just loves her and the place was left in mint condition. Great communication throughout . Thank you so much Kathryn. Can't wait to have you back. :)

I have not been looking forward to writing this review for Irene and Henry. Because I was not looking forward to be reminded of the turmoil we went through while they were sitting house for us. Irene and Henry had signed up to stay in our home and with our dogs for 9,5 weeks. They knew it was winter in Germany, one of the first things we asked them, if they knew how dark and gray it is and that it can be cold. They had no problem with that. 2 weeks into the sit they said they could not walk our dogs twice a day any more, only once - since they were too tired. They asked for help with the second walk, which we then organized from abroad. Also after two weeks they said, they would have to cut the sit short and would be leaving our home 4,5 weeks early. We should start looking for a replacement. This came as such a shock to us, that at first we refused a replacement. With time and the loving support of the zeewoi staff we started looking for a replacement. Of course there was no one there on such short notice. The hours we spent dealing with finding someone new - this is nothing anyone should have to go through. In the end a friend took our dogs when Irene and Henry left our house and their sit early. Irene and Henry sent us pictures and comments about our dogs regularly. Our house was as clean as when we left it. The plants were well. We were contemplating leaving the zeewoi Community after this painful experience. Our trust was shaken. But, we decided to stay and remember the first two perfect experiences we had with our other sitters, whom we still are in touch with and feel loving and close with.
