Charlotte and Josh are a lovely couple who from start to finish were a joy to work with and really fun to get to know - organised, flexible, thoughtful and very welcoming. Despite the uncertainties of the unprecedented heatwave at the time of the sit, we worked well together throughout the sit, taking whatever measures in stride. On that front I can’t thank them enough for being so quick to respond. Their generosity in getting not one but 3 fans and cooling mats made a world of difference. The suggestion to switch rooms to help me cope with the extreme heat was also immensely appreciated. Charlotte was simply phenomenal in responding . On top of their comprehensive welcome guide, Charlotte did a video hand over and I was told everything I needed to know about Rufus and, Bella and their home.. We got to know each other over the sit and I felt both comfortable and completely at ease throughout. It wasn’t just about their needs either. Charlotte & Josh were genuinely concerned the cats and I were taken care and comfortable. They are every sitter’s dream homeowners - friendly, welcoming, considerate of sitters needs while having theirs met. Communication was a breeze and prompt throughout. The en-suite guest bedroom is beautifully decorated , quiet and private - with plenty of drawer hanging space in the closet - which is always much appreciated by sitters. There’s even a desk and large screen for those who want to work while sitting. You couldn’t ask for a better location. It’s walking distance to Sainsbury, cafés, pubs, Wimbledon Park station, and conveniently located to other nearby boroughs. Wimbledon village , the famous tennis courts are all nearby.. There is plenty to do and explore. Whilst I couldn’t explore as much as I wanted because of the extreme heat relative to my medical condition, I’ve done other sits in the area and Charlotte & Josh’s location is outstanding. Icing on the cake for me were Rufus and Bella and the garden was an added bonus and god send respite from the heat - all more than made up for the dreadful weather. Rufus and Bella were an absolute joy to sit, incredibly well behaved, affectionate and very loving . They captured my heart from the moment we met and purrfect cat therapy keeping me sane from the heat. As Maine Coons go, both were charismatic characters, very affectionate and without exaggeration massively cuddly. Cuddles were a joy. They were both a breeze to care for and tons of fun. In closing, massive thanks to Charlotte and Josh for picking and trusting me with darling Rufus and Bella and your lovely home. I hope the 2 of you will have me back when you next go away. I miss my full on conversations and cuddles from the 2 more than you’d ever know. I recommend this sit wholeheartedly. You will enjoy this lovely thoughtful homeowners and their lovely home and friendly neighbourhood. Above all the absolute joy of sitting Rufus & Bella. Enjoy.
I really liked thus sit. Stevii is a really easy going dog. Clean and tasteful place and Teddy is a very welcoming host.
We had a lovely stay at Trish and Matt’s beautiful home, Banjo was great to look after and got on very well with our dog Bella.
I enjoyed my time in Spain. The dogs were easy to manage and I was able to walk all four at the same time without issue. They chose to sleep in the room with me and sometimes one or two in the bed. And Winky is an affectionate cat who likes to sit and relax with you. There are lots of interesting places to explore within an hours drive of their house. I enjoyed getting to know this family and would happily sit for them again.
Seona was a wonderful host, everything was crystal clear and we didn’t have any problems at all. She’s very respectful, kind and is really willing to help. Florence is lovely too, really easy to take care of, playful, energetic, well behaved and quiet! We will really miss her. Zibah was very independent and shy during the first days, after a while she began to trust us and will ask us to pet her (not too much tough) and she came to say good night every night! The location is really nice and quiet, with some really nice parks nearby. Also there were some bus stop really close with a lot of bus to the city centre. We really enjoyed the sit and we would be really happy to do it again. Thank you so much Seona for trusting us on our first house sit!
Wonderful house sit and Sylvie was such a pleasure. I had everything I needed and Rachel was great at communicating.
