We had a blast sitting for Turid and Pedro and getting to know them and their friendly cats. From the beginning, communication was very straightforward, with clear instructions on what to expect. On our arrival, Turid and Petro treated us to dinner and showed us around. They have an amazing, modern house close to the coast and Sesimbra—a stunning, unspoiled location. The beds are very comfortable, and thanks to our hosts, we learned about some hidden foodie gems of the area. Luz and Karel, sister and brother, have one-of-a-kind personalities that shined through after a warming-up day. Luz, a curious, playful and very chatty kitty with super-soft fur, stayed inside for the duration of the sit. Big yet careful boy Karel was allowed to go outside during the day as he pleased. But he opted for lots of chill time with us, too, and likes a calm atmosphere to unwind. Both wear easy-to-use GPS collars. Luz and Karel are a true joy to sit, and we miss them already. Thank you, Turid and Pedro, for trusting us with your house and your dear cats. We hope to be able to sit for you again in the future!
