Cat Sitters in Claudelands

Jessica is like Mary Poppins crossed with a long lost relation you've never met so you just know everything will be fine when you're away. The pets were extremely happy and my cat who never comes near people let alone sits on laps - sat on her lap which was a first in 6 years! A five star review for this lady who kept the house tidy and clean and most importantly looked after the pets with updates when I was away showing how happy and relaxed they all were. It was hard to let her go!

Audrey did a great job looking after our dogs and our home. We were pleased to meet her when she visited Auckland the week before. The dogs liked her from the very start. We would happily have her sit for us again and have no hesitation in recommending her to others.

Maree and Steven were fantastic from start to finish and honestly all you could possibly want from your sitters! The animals were so loved and well cared for. They sent little updates every day - just the right amount of contact to put you at ease but also to let you enjoy your holiday! The house was so clean and tidy when we came home - fresh sheets on the bed, little gifts for the children! I honestly could not fault these two in any way and really hope that they will come back and see us soon.

Kimberley and Stephen were such a blessing to have stay in our home and care for our pets. They had great communication and understood the nuances of concerns we had. They were very helpful for tasks that needed to be completed and and thought independently to solve any issues. I can’t recommend them enough. Such a wonderful couple.

This was the first time we had entrusted our home and our wee dog, Teddy, to House Sitters, and we were very nervous about having strangers into our home, but from the first time we met both Debbie and Steve we knew that our home and Teddy were going to be in very safe and caring hands. Debbie was amazing and kept us posted regularly of how they were going and how Teddy was doing along with some photos, which gave us a huge sense of peace that Teddy was all good and that we could just relax on our holiday and not worry about anything. They looked after our home beautifully too, leaving it lovely and clean and all the sheets and towels washed and on the line. Amazing. What a pleasure to walk into after a big trip away. It was just so appreciated. And Steve even cleaned the BBQ! My husband was over the moon! I cannot recommend this couple enough. We would have them back here in a heartbeat. Louise was an excellent house-sitter and we would highly recommend her! The house was immaculate when we returned home but most importantly our kitty Bowie was really well cared for. Having briefly met Louise before our holiday, we were sure we had found the right person to look after Bowie. We found her to be a very caring, genuine and reliable person and Bowie would be in good hands. She also gave us a few updates while we were away which allowed us to relax and enjoy our time. we would certainly use Louise in the future and highly recommend her as a trusted house and pet sitter.

Ian rose to the top over everyone we've had sit. And we've had great sitters. But it was Ian's manner, and genuine love and care for our animal family. Additionally, the house was spotless, sheets washed, and happy, cared for animals. Really, just a great experience.

We would highly recommend Mar & Lucas's to care for your pets and home. They were super friendly and we had an instead sense of trust upon first meeting them, while we were away they gave us updates and photos, when we returned they had left our home in a clean and tidy state. Thank you both for your love towards our 3 furry kids, they all had grown fond of you both. Thank you also for taking good care of our home 🙂

Pat and Fred exceeded our expectations as house and pet sitters. This was our first time leaving our house and dog Leo with anyone that we had not known prior due to our wedding overseas. Pat and Fred were excellent in their communications prior to our trip and helped us feel comfortable in the lead up to their stay. They were flexible in their plans to meet prior to our departure and also throughout our trip keeping us updated with photos of our dog as well as making him feel special on his birthday which we missed. On our return our house was immaculate and was like we had never left. We 100% would have Pat and Fred stay again and would definitely recommend them for anyone looking at future sitters

Shannon was a great communicator and our home was immaculate upon our return home. The only 4/5 star I have was based on her leaving sooner than requested on the final day, fortunately we were able to get a friend to come over in her early absence. One dogs were healthy & happy upon our return home! Thank you!

Alex and Rachel were awesome!! They bonded with Java immediately, we could not ask for anyone better to look after her. Would have these folks back in a heartbeat!

It was a pleasure to have Rachael at my home. First of all, we organised her arrival very smoothly, in less than 24 hours. She took great care of my home (that has never been so clean and ordered) and spoiled my cat Noushi. I usually leave my dog with a local dog sitter if I am away, as it is a big hunting dog, but Rachael volunteered to walk it and brought it to the forrest for big hikes, so even my dog was delighted to have her here. She made friends with a lot of people in my village and has become a local. She is very reliable, and I highly recommend her. Thank you so much Rachael for your kindness, Cheers Charlotte `
