Wonderful family, comfortable clean modern home and the pup an absolute dream! Staying in this home and caring for the well trained, lovable, active & affectionate dog was an amazing and rewarding experience. The friendly, caring & warm family went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and provide me with all that I needed for my sit. Thank you.
We had our first experience at Trusted staying at Melissa and taking care of Miss B. an Brother. We truly can’t imagine a better way to start it! Melissa is a kind, friendly and generous person! She made us feel at home from day one, and she offered herself to help us with anything we might need – she was also pretty easy to reach by texting. Boston is an amazing place and a lovely city, but if you ask us what is the best thing about the city, we’ll say Miss B. and Brother. These two guys stole our hearts completely! At first they were a bit shy, but after a day they started to warm up with us and we ended our days there sharing a sofa with them every time we were in the living room. Both are lovely and sweet puppies! We used to go for a long walk in the park in the morning and two other shorter ones in the afternoon and at night! Besides the walking, we fed and play with them every day! Definitely, we recommend Melissa to future House-Sitters! You can be sure that you are going to have a wonderful time!
Our sit in Uckfield was absolutely brilliant. We met the whole family prior to them going away for a thorough handover, they were lovely! Mara is a dream dog and I miss her already, the house and grounds are beautiful and would love to sit again should you like us to. Thank you for giving us the opportunity Eloise and Tom x
This was a great experience. Mrs. Peggy and Mr. Bart have a lovely home in a great area. Very convenient for getting to the beach, restaurants, shops, and plenty more. Bama and Bailey were sweethearts. Very sweet and calm dogs (unless they see a bird out on a walk then they get a little excited haha)! I would 100% take care of their sweet babies again.
We had an amazing time taking care of Buster. He is cute, playful, snuggly and generally a great companion who is nevertheless very independent. We had fun lounging in the sun on the balcony, walking in the nearby parks and streets and playing with different toys. Buster enjoys playing fetch and he loves showing you his toys and then getting chased around trying to keep them from you yet keeps teasing you with them :)). Isobel was a pleasant host who gave us all information we needed and welcomed us in her beautiful spacious apartment. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home!
This is an enjoyable place to housesit. Ashland is a great town with many cafe and restaurant options and independent shops. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival offers many terrific plays. There is also a fabulous park through which to stroll or participate in recreational activities. Ashland is an eminently walkable city and Diane and David’s pretty home is an easy walk to all that Ashland has to offer. Sadly for me, as I was leaving for the trip to Ashland, I tripped and fell, breaking my kneecap. So much of Ashland’s highlights were not easily accessible to me. Thankfully, I had a sweet little dog, McKenzie, and two lovely cats, Popeye and Winston, with whom to curl up in front of the television. Diane and David set up the sofa to allow for my need to prop up my immobilized leg so that I would have a comfortable seat. I spent a lot of time in that spot and I think that the cats enjoyed having an almost constant lap upon which to sit. All of the “kids” are excellent companions. Diane and David arranged for some wonderful friends to help with what I could not do, like taking McKenzie for short walks. I particularly want to thank Susan, Lynn and Janet, who were always available if I needed something. I am very grateful for their help. As I needed to use crutches due to my broken kneecap, I had difficulty cleaning to my usual standards before their return. So Diane also arranged for me to hire their housekeeper to be able to leave their home in perfect condition for their arrival. If you want to stay with some great animals in a wonderful town then this is the place for you and I recommend this housesit.
