Esther took great care of our pets and our home while we were away. We were very happy!

Sandra

Sandra was very experienced and took good care of our dog Stella. Unfortunately, we found that our communication styles did not really mesh. Weeks before the sit, if we did not reply to Sandra instantly she got rather frantic and seemed overly anxious about the details of the sit. We always want our house sitters to feel comfortable and know what they are walking into, but it was a bit difficult to manage the level of communication Sandra required in advance of her stay. During the stay, our emergency contact was also contacted for a simple question about a light switch, just hours after we had texted Sandra to check in and ask if she had any questions. Besides this, we are grateful for her help and our dog seemed to enjoy her time with Sandra.

Jennifer

Home was in great shape. Most importantly, pets were relaxed and obviously well tended to. I had a few live plants delivered while Jennifer and Nadine stayed. They were also tended to appropriately. Welcome back anytime.

Kristen

Kristen and Joshua were the perfect house sitters - they communicated clearly and regularly, sent fun photos and updates on our feline crew, left the house neat and tidy, and provided tender loving care to our kitties! It was clear that our cats really took to them (especially the “chief”, Maui!). Because of our travel plans, we never got to meet in person, but they were flexible and friendly throughout our chats and video calls. We would love to have them back any time, and would highly recommend them to other sits as well! Thank you again, K & J! 😸🐈 🐱 🐈‍⬛ 😻

Annette & Bruce

Annette and Bruce did a great job with Deegan and the house. They kept me posted with texts and pictures how Deegan was handling his latest sitters. Annette offered to buy and plant flowers in the five flower planters on the deck. They all look great and I never knew much about house plants and now have wonderful one on the deck. The house was real clean and beds made. I hope they may wish to come back again. I have some more house chores they can help me with.

Kerrie & Shane

Kerrie and Shane returned to our home for another adventure, and we are so grateful! They are very kind, and considerate... sending us photo updates, and asking clarification questions, which we really appreciate. Our home is always well taken care of when they are sitting, along with our 4 fur babies. They make more use out of our hot tub, than we do! LOL! The girls love them, and even sleep with them! Warms my heart to have such dedicated and loving people stay in our home, and watch our girls. Vacations are so much better when you can count on people like Kerrie and Shane! Thank you both, so very much. Hope to have you come back in 2025!

Looove these 2! So organized, great communication, provided updates on the regular, left the house immaculate. My dog seemed to love the. They made her feel relaxed and comfortable, and I think she really enjoyed their company. Would highly recommend and would absolutely use again!

I could not have wished for better sitters than Tonya, Denys, and Ethan. They were beyond excellent!! They stayed and kept good care of my house and Roxy for 10 weeks. Roxy got walked everyday for at least an hour. The 6-year-old boy, Ethan, played with Roxy for most of the day, everyday. I spent a day with this family before I left and two days after I returned. They are very pleasant and likable. They truly bonded with Roxy and were all very sad to say goodbye. I was sad to see them go too, it would be nice to have them as my permanent dog sitter and friends. I have invited them back, even if just to visit.

Richard and Pat were the most amazing, wonderful couple who looked after our two 'babies' with love, care and attention. From the moment they arrived we felt comfortable in their presence and Betsy and Dotty took to them with love. We knew that our two dogs were going to be well looked after whilst we were away. Richard and Pat also showed initiative and support to our friend who had lost her dog one evening. We hope to be able to welcome them back to our home again one day. I am absolutely sure Betsy and Dotty will be very pleased to see them. Dotty is still looking for you Richard!!! We were also very pleased to return to a very clean house and two neat dogs!! Andrea was absolutely fantastic! 
We had excellent communication before - during - after the kitties sitting ! She looked after my boys with the greatest care & kindness during my 2 week holiday ! She sent me pictures regularly & when I returned home they were calm & not at all stressed ! I would recommend Andrea for future sits & would love her to come back !

Gillian is a top class cat & house sitter, whom we totally recommend. She was always prompt and considerate in communications and we appreciated that she stuck with the plan, despite travel uncertainties around the time of rail strike action. 

It was clear that Gillian’s main concern was for our cat Whero, and his wellbeing. She accommodated to his nervous character and quirks (and was sensitive to our recent loss of his sister, Iti). Gillian also took in her stride Whero’s special dietary needs. She kept us updated with daily messages and photos, which were lovely to see. Gillian also clearly made the most of local sites in York; it was interesting to hear how she had interacted with the place.

We returned to a house that had been left clean and tidy, and a happy, calm Whero. We will be pleased to have Gillian return for another stay in future, if she would like to.
