We very much enjoyed looking after Mr Darcy in Montpellier for Kevin and Sheila. Communication was great from the start until the finish of our 3.5 week house-sit and the handbook covered everything we needed to know about looking after Mr D. The apartment is clean and well furnished and is conveniently close to the centre of Montpellier. It is also really easy to take a day trip to the coast on a tram which leaves just outside the front door. The railway station is also very close by so anyone travelling by train would not have a problem. We would happily recommend looking after a very chilled Mr Darcy and Kevin and Sheila's apartment.
Very lovely dogs and a nice play to stay, in a quiet part of Germany. Perfect for exploring Nuremberg and surrounds. We enjoyed looking after Joey and Sawyer very much!
Just back from a lovely few days at Helen and Simon's farmhouse, being looked after by Fig, Binky and Sasha. They're three great characters who love a walk round the fields; all well-trained but loveable and great fun. Looking after the chickens was easy with the bonus of fresh eggs. Whilst Bearwas happy with a cuddle and the occasional knee to sit on.
Lars and Naomi were very welcoming hosts. This was an add-on day so we could become familiar with their home, routines, and fur babies.
Hilary and David have an absolutely beautiful home and Archie is a super sweet and affectionate boy. We really enjoyed exploring the local countryside with Archie and he was in his element when off lead and investigating all kinds of smells. They have a beautiful garden and paddock, which was perfect for shorter ‘wee walks’ first thing in the morning and after Archie’s lunch. Archie was very well behaved in the car but equally, had we wanted to leave the car behind, we could have found plenty of walks setting off from the doorstep, during the time of our sit the local fields were full of maize stalks however and Archie had some cuts from previous encounters with those so we played it safe and did short drives to open fields or woodland instead. Hilary and David gave us a thorough handover and left a binder of instructions on how to care for Archie and the house, so we felt confident we had everything we needed to perform our duties. Thank you Hilary, David and Archie for letting us sit for you.
