Debra
We spent 4 nights at Debbie’s place and had a lovely time! Jazz and Muffin are gorgeous, very gentle, well behaved and easy to look after. The hamster and Shadow were also a breeze. Debbie’s home has everything you need and is well situated for visiting Cambridge but without all of the hustle and bustle. Whittlesford is a lovely quiet village with a good play ground, pub and shop for essential stuff. Debbie was very relaxed and easy going, even when we arrived only 15 minutes before they had to leave for the airport after a long day in traffic. Thank you very much for having us!

Loved looking after Tilly, Layla and Tiggy! They were each a bit different, but went well together. They were very affectionate and you would sometimes have all three in your lap :-). You can tell they are well loved and looked after by Debbie and Steve. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Sarah
Sarah has been exceptionally kind considering she had to cancel her skiing holiday due to the coronavirus outbreak the day I was due to arrive. She put me up in her parent's guest rooms, until taking a few days away in the UK when I finally got to housesit for her, albeit shorter than planned. Added to all that, one of her dogs sadly became ill and had to stay at the vets. Feeding a horse and pony in the stables and checking the horses in the field was my daily routine. Sarah's home is a beautiful farmhouse which she has done much renovation work on. It was so rejuvenating to housesit for her in that lovely country setting. Thank you, Sarah for all your hospitality! I look forward to the next time.

We miss Chester already! 🥹 He was so fun to care for. Food is simple as they let him graze all day so you just make sure he has what he needs. Treats are fun and he’s so polite he NEVER gets in your way or jumps or anything for feedings, he waits politely until you’re done, it’s the cutest thing. I’ve truly never seen a dog so polite. Which is extra important because of his large size! He definitely loves his walks so I enjoyed the exercise (we always walked longer than the O’Briens said was necessary cuz he just loves it and he’s too sweet to tell him no, lol). 😀 But if you ever need a break just ask him to sit and he will. Such a sweet, loving, obedient guy. He definitely likes company so I can see why it’s important to have an in home sitter for him. 🥰

As far as the home, it has everything you need and Pamela and Tom are so gracious to share it! You truly feel at home in their space. Especially if you love to cook like me! They have every tool and device and I’m incredibly jealous of their organization skills. I’m taking notes for my own kitchen. 😅

Pamela & Tom were so kind and you really believe them when they tell you to make yourself at home. My husband and I can’t wait to visit the O’Brien family and home again in the future!

Jocelyn
Asher and Ember are amazing. Easy to care for, a total breeze and joy! Asher is a great walker, Ember is playful and will keep you entertained/wondering where the heck she is hiding. She may be sunbathing by the back door, or waiting for you to use the bathroom so she can pop out of the shower curtain for a jump scare 😅

Jeff and Jocelyn left instructions printed out and we met them before the sit began to walk through the house, and meet Asher (who can be a little shy around strangers) so we felt quite prepared for our stay.

Their house is super comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, and the yard /patio is amazing. Wish it were a colder time of year so we could have tried the hot tub! Next time! :)

We’d absolutely sit for Jocelyn and Jeff again, it was a pleasure meeting them and spending time with sweet A&E!

Lydia
Located in a peaceful, quiet setting. Tonks was very loving and playful. She was a star of the video meetings while I was working remotely. I had a heads-up from Lydia that Tonks would want attention and to be involved in my work, so it wasn't a surprise when she'd continuously lay on my lap and keyboard while I was working.
Communication with Lydia was easy and clear. We both had changes of timing and were able to adapt.
