I enjoyed looking after Charlie and Bella, who are 2 adorable dogs and I became very fond of them. They just love a cuddle and of course, their walks and surroundings, including a shaded terrace and a garden. The cat is very discreet and I had no issue with feral cats. The location is quite remote in a semi-deserted hamlet and I enjoyed it for some personal time and work. A car is a must to go anywhere. The Internet is excellent. For shopping, eating out, or just seeing other people, Tavira is about a 25-minute drive through winding country roads and well worth visiting. Rebecca was very kind to let me stay the night prior to her departure and cooked a wonderful dinner. 1 tip: Make sure to get the address as the GPS can be inaccurate. Overall, it was a great experience for me. Thank-you Rebecca, Charlie & Bella!
We stayed with Baxter, Jack and Shady for 2 weeks and it was wonderful! They get along very well and are really cute. Nicole and Chris are very nice and gave us a warm welcome! It was really pleasant to stay in the house and the olives field with the pets, walking and enjoying. We already miss it! We can't recommend this sitting enough :)
Gillian and Richard were lovely to "work" with in the months leading up to my planned arrival for a house sit that unfortunately didn't happen due to an unforeseen COVID-related cancellation. Communication was very prompt and clear throughout our exchanges, and they were very kind and generous to offer to let me come stay in their guest house in lieu of the house sit.
I enjoyed so much my stay with Lemmy and Ari in the West End. The appartment is very well situated, very bright and convenient (except if you have a car, since finding parking is so bad in the area). It was very fun to go for a walk with Lemmy on the Seawall in the morning and for squirrels hunt in the Stanley park in the afternoon. Ari is so sweet and we cuddled for hours on the bed at night. I would recommand Noami's place to anybody and can't wait to come back the a petsit soon.
Absolutely loved to stay with Luna, Mimine and chickens at Catherine’s and Stan’s gorgeous house! Such sweet, kind, warm, caring and supportive people. Beautiful couple. Cats are great - very easy, lovely and calm. Similar behavior at first glance but so different characters! Luna made me laughing every day - she was my morning alarm ~8-8:30 am 😸 meeeow get up Irene I want my food! And she weights so little, like a feather! How does she manage this?! 🤔😄 She loves cuddles and brushing. Mimine is a queen, queen behavior. Calm, gorgeous, purring often and relaxed. She will let you know when she wants attention and cuddles, otherwise, please do not disturb 🐈⬛🧘🏻♀️ Chickens are very easy, too. Just need to feed them in the morning and in the evening and collect eggs. Lots of eggs which are always fresh and delicious! Stan explained everything how to take care of them so it was no-brainer at all. One chicken passed away on the very first day 😭 disaster. But Catherine was super supportive and explained what to do. Salviac is lovely. Nice people and stunning nature. And that view from the house! Garden 😍😍😍 My stay there was a 5 star spa resort. Immaculate clean house, warm, supercomfy bed (don’t remember where else I slept so well while traveling!) and cool guest bathroom. Catherine cookes deliciously, Stan is a wine pro 💪 Continue my journey with the best memories of Salviac family & pets 🤗 Was lucky to stay there. Highly recommended!!!
Zina was fantastic to work with! Very friendly, gave all the info needed and quickly answered any questions I had. I felt like I was sitting for a friend by the time I got there. Matoke and Kiva were so easy to care for. Fenced in back yard for them to play in and they loved to walk in the great neighborhood. Kiva loved exploring with me around Columbia also. Zina’s home was really nice and in a great location. I could walk to several restaurants and coffee shops. I highly recommend sitting for Zina if you get a chance. Thanks Zina for this great opportunity.
