Fićo is a wonderful cat that loves to play, perfect for cat lovers! Sarah Jayne and Ivan were very kind, they offered to meet us the day before, and left us with a clean flat and clear instructions. The flat is nice because it's on the ninth floor and offers great view, as well as access to the rooftop. We recommend this sit!
I was so grateful to have my first experience with a cat sleeping next to me throughout the night. Nala loved to stay on my side in the house and we chatted a lot! She was gentle, very friendly and always responsive to my call. The location of the house is perfect and Cambridge is a wonderful city that I wish to call it home one day. Gemma is a very considerate and generous person although we could not have a chance to meet personally, she organised and prepared all the required to ensure my stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you very much!
Emily & Marcos were wonderful hosts who immediately welcomed us, with Marcos picking us up from the station upon our arrival after a long train ride and preparing dinner for us. Emily kindly accommodated us by making sure we had enough closet space, bedding and towels. We felt trusted and really appreciated their hospitality and support. Merlu and Mini are beautiful cats and we enjoyed the unique personality of each. Merlu was very loving and would come to us for petting, Mini was more reserved but very smart and entertained us with amusing antics. The apartment had all the necessary amenities and was well located. We miss this sit already! Thanks again Emily and Marcos and baby Celeste! Dave & Marty
Mariana and Stafford were extremely prepared and welcomed me, along with their family pets, in the true Irish spirit of Cead Mille Failte. Meg, Freya and Oscar warmed to me immediately and after the initial period of missing their pet parents, they transitioned quite quickly and lovingly. I enjoyed my chats with Oscar the parrot and was amazed by his whistling and singing abilities! Freya and Meg were fun to play in the extensive/beautiful gardens with throughout the day and evening. They were fine with being left to sleep until their next meal time. Mariana filled the fridge with food, made me a wonderful welcome dinner, and left specific and detailed instructions for the house, pets, nearby relatives and their vet. An additional bonus was that I got to do further genealogy research on my great grandparents who hailed from Killaloe, took a calming trip up the Shannon River, had gorgeous meals at Flanagan's and Tuscany Bistro and made friends with some of the local shop owners in Ballina on the opposite side of the bridge. Thank you Stafford and Mariana for sharing your home, pets and your lovely local communities with me. I'll come back in a New York minute if I'm in Ireland when you need a sitter again ☘️🇮🇪.
Jasper and Marley are lovely fur babies to look after! Sadly Mr. Marley had a foot injury prior to my arrival and required an econe and additional care. Poor guy! Throughout the ordeal he was just so super sweet and charming!! He’s a real darling!!Jasper tends to himself with occasional sitings;-) so a bit mysterious;) Judy’s art-filled home with a truly gorgeous garden is perfectly situated near the quant, adorable town of Fairfax. Her communications were clear and well organized. I highly recommend this sit should you have the opportunity!!
I loved this housesit so much! Rosie is great company. She loves to nap next to you throughout the day, play games and go for walks. Marleen and Michael are excellent hosts. The house is gorgeous, walking distance to downtown and has excellent views of the creek / forest in the background. One of my favorite sits, highly recommend!
