Mose, Delphine, Ivy and Mavis were such loving kitties and pups, both to us and to one another. They are clearly well loved and adjusted pets who enjoy their routines and are happy to be in their environments. The chickens too have their own self contained "house and garden", and calmly offer their eggs for gathering once or twice a day. Abagail and Robert welcomed us and provided all the information we needed both verbally and in the written welcome packet. Their home was lovely and the expansive gardens with beautiful plantings and feeders for the many birds was a pleasure to just relax and enjoy. It's fully fenced so the pups can range, Mavis can fetch endlessly. She is a master at finding her tennis ball pretty much anywhere in the yard! Ivy is good at relaxing, and very responsive to hand signals. We enjoyed walking into Amesbury for dinner and afternoon coffee in the town square. It was a pleasure to take care of Abagail and Robert's home and pets. We'd be glad to do it again.
We loved looking after Koki, she is full of energy and loves a good walk, especially to the cafe for morning coffees. Debra was very easy to communicate with, and provided everything we needed to know. Debra’s house was beautiful, and right in town where we could walk down to the restaurants for dinner. Dave and I would happily sit Koki again anytime 🙂
Chloe is a sweet and playful puppy. We enjoyed going to the enclosed off lead area about 10 minutes walk from the house. Michael provided needed information ahead of the sit and was available during the sit for questions. The sit was in a convenient location with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and a variety of stores.
Sharron was so lovely to sit for. While 8 cats might seem intimidating, she provided such clear instructions on how to care for her kitties, it made it so much easier on us. Sharron was so gracious as to allow us to come in a few days earlier to fully learn how to best care for her cats while in her absence. She has a system that is easy to learn and follow which was so great for us as caring for 8 cats at one time was not something we had ever done. She was great to communicate with prior to and during our sit. All 8 cats have their own little personalities which was really awesome for us to get to know during our time with them. Mostly they all enjoyed their own little space in the house, kept to themselves but were very open to cuddles and snuggles as well. Sharron has a lovely home and Juan really enjoyed helping Sharron with yard work while she was away. Sharron was an amazing host and we would highly recommend this sit, we would be happy to return if our schedule permits should she ever need help in the future. Sharron's home is beautifully located across a lake which is a great way to cool off on those hot summer days in Blind Bay. Thank you Sharron for the opportunity to share your home and care for your fur babies. :)
Christopher is an incredible housesit and I absolutely adored Jon and Bernie! I was so lucky to spend time with these sweet creatures and Christopher was so helpful and generous.
This was a lovely sit! Astrid and Zsa Zsa are such independent, sweet, funny souls. The apartment is cozy and well laid-out with a ton of incredible books and an amazing view. Cris and Sonja were thoughtful hosts and very easy to communicate with. I'm going to miss Zsa Zsa and Astrid (and the amazing view!) I'd recommend this sit. :)
