Emily and Matt were so so welcoming and hospitable, talking us through all the information we would need to look after Ragtag and to have an amazing weekend in Bend - they even blew up their paddle boards for us to try which was so much fun! They were super fast to respond during the sit for any questions we had. Their house is lovely, pretty central in town and easy to get everywhere in and around Bend, which was great for taking Ragtag out for adventures and making the most of the warm weather by exploring the lakes and Deschutes river.

Ragtag is a very adorable doggo. He immediately warmed up to us when we arrived, and was a great cuddler. He’s very smart, and is pretty treat/food driven so will behave pretty well in and around the house when you have a treat to hand. He LOVES to swim in the river, especially since it was pretty warm this weekend, so if you take him to the river by Good Dog Trail or paddle boarding, he’ll be your best friend! He has a lot of energy so is always ready for an adventure, but as long as he’s had a decent walk/swim he’ll tire out by the evening for snuggles on the sofa.
