Renske and Randy were the loveliest couple. Great to communicate with. Always available on what’s app. Mishka and Rio the most adorable pets. We loved our long walks with Mishka discovering gorgeous walks around the countryside. And Rio is such a loving gorgeous cat. Loved watching the two of them play fighting together. They have a lovely garden which we took pleasure in weeding and tending to in the evenings. We would be very happy to house sit again should the opportunity comes up. Feel like we have made lovely friends even though we didn’t get a chance to meet!
I spent 4 nights at Jeremy and Alison’s home and was found it very comfortable - in fact I slept beautifully. The bed in the guest room is very cosy. The house has all the comforts you could hope for and the nearby villages are cute with some nice shops. I had an Indian takeaway which I loved. Now the more important part - their furry family. I am a week on and I still keep thinking about them, wondering what they’re doing. Reggie was a ball of energy and no matter how much I tried to out walk him, he always won. Reggie and Indi are perfect compliments. Indi is easy-going with a quiet temperament while Reggie is full of character and will keep you laughing. They both love carrots ! I really enjoy activity so I walked them each day quite a bit. However, we did stay in most of one of my days as the weather was awful and they were quite happy to chill and watch tv. I always kept them on the lead but Jeremy and Alison did allow me choices in that. Last but not least is beautiful Daisy. She lives outside and is very easy to care for. No trouble at all. Jeremy and Alison are lovely people who I enjoyed chatting to and meeting. Even though I made a couple of mistakes, they were understanding and put me at ease! Thank you for letting me stay and watch all the family !
Such a lovely home and a fabulous time with Bonnie and Casper. We had a great time bonding with the pair.
Many thanks to Gabrielle and Steve for allowing us to look after their beautiful home for a week. Communication with them was excellent, from the time we paid our initial visit through to the end of the sit. We will always remember the sight of Brinley peering out from his backpack with his tongue out, enjoying the different smells as we went on various walks in Wareham Forest, along Studland Beach or the coastal path directly from the house. Muddy is a great character, very good either on or off the lead, and standing guard at the back door waiting to warn off of the numerous pheasants that visited the beautifully landscaped gardens. It was lovely to see his excitement and joy on his face when Steve and Gabrielle returned home. We were somewhat restricted by the incessant February rain but are so looking forward to renewing our acquaintance with Muddy and Brinley, and making the most of the spectacular coastal footpath walks when we return in May. A truly 5 star experience!
It was a pleasure to sit for Jen and her family. Jen is a great friendly communicator, leaving a written list of clear instructions for taking care of Jake and Olive and handy tips for the house like how to use AC, passwords etc. Jake was super easy basically looking after himself coming in for evening cuddles and Olive is a georgous playful puppy loving lots of attention and lots of cute nap time. Their beautiful modern home makes for easy care of Olive with a lovely garden and backyard to play, situated in a quiet area with lots of easy walking routes and shops nearby. I enjoyed my time sitting for Jen and would love to do so again if the opportunity permits.
We recently pet and house sit for Lori and her family. If you have a chance to sit for them, I would highly recommend them. They currently have 3 sweet dogs. Coquito is the oldest. He loves to walk. He is getting older so a nice stroll and sniff is what he likes. He loves to be pet and loved on. Reina and Augusta are younger. Augusta LOVES to play. They both are snuggle puppies. They are big dogs. They love to go on their walks. They can go a longer distance than Coquito. They have all been trained. In the beginning, you must be firm so they follow the commands. Then there is Sydney, the bearded dragon. Very easy to care for. First time to care for a reptile. She was fun to watch and talk to. Her little head would follow and listen. After walking them in the morning, we were able to go out to explore the area. Lots of places to eat at. We would usually walk them in the evening, too. They slept through the night and did not wake up early. If you let them, they will snuggle with you in bed and let you sleep in even later. The home is very comfortable. The kitchen awesome to cook in. Fully loaded with all the pots, pans, utensils and extras you need to cook with. The neighborhood is quiet. Close to a myriad of walking trails. The neighbors were all very friendly and helpful. Lori left a great binder with pertinent information about each of the pets, a list of neighbors with contact information, information about the trails and much more. We referred to it often. Lori was a great communicator before the sit and during the sit. Easy to get a hold of to answer questions. We highly recommend this family and their pets if you get to house sit for them. You will love it.
