Thank you Christina for caring beautifully for our home and our fur baby! 5 star recommendation
I was really looking forward to my sit at Mickayla's and was not disappointed! Though the dogs are rescues with rough starts in life, they're very quick to get over any initial wariness and became great companions throughout my sit; they really enjoy snuggling on the couch and bed and are easy to look after. Mickayla gave me plenty of information before the sit, and her partner Curtis was there to introduce me to the dogs and walk me through the house and their routine. They're easy dogs to look after in terms of walks and feeding, and easy to manage on leash even when they get excited about other dogs and wildlife. Roxy is a very low-key housecat who has an auto feeder and mostly naps during the day. She has a daily medication requirement, but I had no issues giving her meds during the sit! Mickayla and Curtis' place is very comfortable and right on a bus line for downtown Saskatoon. The river walking trails and a public park are also close by. I had a great visit and am looking forward to spending another weekend with the dogs this August. Highly recommend this sit for anyone who wants to see Saskatoon and have some critter company!
Huck is adorable, he is very well educated and so cute. The same with the Girls, they are very calm and easy to take care of. We really enjoyed taking care of Huck and the GIRLS. About the house, the neighborhood is very quiet, there are markets nearby, it is easy to take bus routes and it is close to a subway station.
Absolutely brilliant sit. I tend to rate house-sits by the three P's of People, Pets and Pets - all of which were fabulous. Karina and Elfed are a lovely couple who warmly welcomed us into their home showing us where everything is. They left clear instructions, and the welcome wine/chocolates were appreciated - thank you! Their pets were a pleasure to spend time with - two dogs, fours cats, six chickens and 18 sheep sounds a lot but they were no trouble. Both dogs were fit and fun, easy to walk, well trained, polite around the house and gentle with the other pets - well done! Their beautiful house is in a great area with many public footpaths through fields and woods. We loved every moment and would definitely sit again if requested.
It was such a treat to take care of Leo, Jasper and Bailey. Leo is a goofy sweet giant who stayed by our side and was well behaved. Jasper was a happy and fun-loving rascal, smart and likes to lead on walks. Bailey was a cutie, and very chill. Laura communicated with us well before and during the housesit, she provided a welcome guide with details on the dogs and house and anything else we needed to know. She was only a short msg or call away. We felt welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. The house was beautiful, super tidy and clean. The views were the most incredible we've ever experienced, and we feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to stay and care for Laura's animals!
Couldn't have asked for a better sit. It was such our pleasure to stay with Wetzel and Stormy! The whole stay was great start to finish. Dawn is super sweet and thorough with her details, was easy enough. Wetzel is such a great boy! My favorite thing was when he would grab as many of his toys and carry them all in his mouth, as well as some of the times I was doing yoga and he came to 'participate' lol. They both are so sweet and loving and really enjoyed my daughter as well. It's such a comfortable place and a Beautiful property. Would absolutely stay again!
I had such a wonderful time with Max and Opal - if only it could have been longer! They both are such sweethearts and love lots of playtime and cuddles. Leann was also super friendly and communicative which made the whole process very smooth. The house is beautiful and and the three of us had a great cozy weekend.
