Zena is so precious! I had such a lovely time looking after her. Tanya and Toby were incredibly welcoming and I felt very much at home in their lovely apartment. I look forward to looking after Zena again!

This sit was an absolute pleasure. Steph was plain lovely and everything was clear from the beginning. Communicating with her was a breeze, and she was always easy to reach and very responsive all throughout the sit. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, which I'm very grateful for. Excellent host! Shoutout also to her wonderful neighbours! The apartment is super comfy and cozy, in a fantastic and peaceful area of Edinburgh, away from the hustle and bustle of the centre, but within a 20-min walk from virtually anywhere. And what can I say about Woody... he became my faithful companion for 3 weeks and I miss him so. He's very feisty and loves to talk (and eat). You will always know exactly what he wants (he'll tell you) and he'll try to convince you he's the boss, so you'll need to be firm about what's allowed and what's not. Other than that, he's super gentle and easy to care for.  We adapted to each other's schedule very quickly and he was a total sweetheart asking for cuddles in the evening! Hard to resist, really. I also learned a ton about Scotties (get ready to be stopped and asked about him on his walks, he's a total charmer). Edinburgh is an enchanting city I couldn't get enough of. Don't hesitate to accept this sit. Thank you Steph & Woody! :)

Henri

Henri & John are outstanding hosts/house owners! They are welcoming, friendly and very generous. I would say that they are not only looking for trustworthy pet sitters but also for new friends, so they treated me like one. They invited me to have many meals with them (they cook deliciously) and I really enjoyed their company (both of them speak perfect English and French and have a great sense of humor). During their time away, they were always available on the phone and our communication was fluent. 
Concerning the pets, I would say that the five cats were easy to take care of, while the five dogs were a bit more demanding because they have different requirements (e.g. one takes medicines) and they have a set routine which must be followed. However, I was given a detailed written pet guidebook, which made my job easier. The younger dogs were full of energy and they wanted to play all the time, so they used to bring fun and joy to the house. In general, I didn´t need to daily walk the dogs because there is a big fenced garden where they can run freely.
The main house and the sitters´ cottage (gite) are renovated, comfortable and fully equipped with all the modern commodities. A lady regularly does the cleaning in the main house, so I didn´t need to worry about that. I was given a car for myself to move around the area and John used to encourage me to go out sightseeing when he was in the house looking after the pets. I had a lot of time for myself and I really enjoyed visiting the marvelous bastide villages!
All in all, it was a great house sitting experience and I would highly recommend it.

House sitting for Andrew & Carly and having the company of Toby whilst they were away was a real pleasure. They were very accommodating and I was able to arrive a day earlier- all of Toby’s routine was explained to me & the sit went without a hitch - even administering the ear drops! I spent many happy hours playing ball with Toby in various local parks and he was very good with other dogs that we came across- he is a very chilled out dog! Andrew & Carly’s home is very comfortable & clean and in a great location in London. Even though the Tube Station is only a 5 minute walk away- Andrew was most kind and organised an Uber for me on the day I left as it was raining a bit & I had luggage. I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to care for Toby & would highly recommend this as a great experience.

Had the best time with Miss Poppie! An angel of a dog and so well behaved. Would look after her in a heartbeat again.

What a wonderful house and cat sitting experience in a delightful Georgian cottage situated in a quaint unspoilt English town.
From initial friendly communications with Fran who sent me a welcome pack in advance, which included all the information needed on the house, the cats routine, the town and surrounding areas. (There was also a hard copy in the house) which was helpful to refer back to if needed. (Fran’s neighbours are also lovely & I was welcomed in by them for coffee and cake, It was really lovely to meet them)
Both Pancha and Milou are gorgeous relaxed cats to look after compared to some of the feral types I’ve cared for in the past. I really was in kitty heaven spending time with them. They are both incredibly loving. Pancha came for cuddles on the first day on my lap when I was sat enjoying the garden & Milou enjoyed sofas snuggles each evening. Lucky me! 
Fran’s cottage is very welcoming with a friendly relaxed feel and their garden is just beautiful and an absolute delight. A real haven to spend time in winding down, especially if you love nature. It was wonderful to see so many dragonflies and butterflies. At the bottom of the garden was a vegetable plot and I also really enjoyed sampling the fresh produce which was delicious - thank you!  The garden is a wildlife haven and overlooks and leads out onto hills beyond where there are some lovely walks around the area.
Looking after this delightful home and spending kitty time relaxing with both Pancha and Milou has been a real privilege. Thank you so much for having me. 💕
