Barbara is friendly and welcoming, She left me excellent instructions, which detailed her kittens routines and feeding times, the daily running of the house, contacts for emergency and so on. She also provided information regarding the local area including the best shops, cafés etc. The cats are very cute and easy to look after, they have different personalities, but they join together to remind you when it's time for breakfast! They need calm and gentle approach and soft cuddles, in exchange you have a lot of purrs … Her house is comfortable, peaceful and quiet. Easy to care of: usual home stuff and the leaves (from neighbours’ trees) to check in the back yard. Conveniently located near beach, shops, amenities: everything is within walking distance (or a couple of bus stops) . I really enjoyed my sit and I am very very happy to return there next month.
This is a very delightful, kind couple who live in a sweet area of North Austin. I thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with their kitties, Foggy and Sunshine in their very comfy home. Everything you need in a house sit is available to you. I loved walking down to the gorgeous park that is just blocks from their house. I would recommend this stay to anyone!
Freya is a quirky but very sweet dog once she warms up to you.
