We first met Manny, months before his stay. He was quick to state his desire to stay in our house, take care of our dogs AND play my marimba. He has always communicated quickly before and during his stay. Both dogs adore him. He is very attentive to their needs and has spent time getting to know them. We had the added bonus of offering our home to him during his entire time in Lincoln. That allowed us to share a few days of life together. Having Manny in our home added lots of laughter and joy. We look forward to spending time with you again in the future.
A wonderful week with Cobweb at Tom’s and Chloe’s. Both Tom and Chloe were absolutely lovely to get to know and took the extra mile to welcome me into their home. They are clearly experienced in petsits, prepared detailed instructions for Cobweb and their home, and were super easy to communicate throughout the sit. Cobweb was such a sweetheart, super affectionate with loads of character. She loves curling up in your lap, morning cuddles and sunbathing in spots near to you. I already miss waking up with her in the morning and random death stares 🐱 and would really love to see how she and Reggie are together one day 🐕🐈 Tom and Chloe have a gorgeous house. A beautiful garden, super well-equipped, well-connected and close to plenty of nature and shops. Highly recommend and would be happy to return any time!
We can't recommend this house sit enough. Ellie was so welcoming & communicative. She really wanted us to feel at home & was so generous too by leaving food & little gifts (& some fizz to drink in the hot tub!). We grew so fond of these 2 lovely dogs. They are both affectionate, fun & adorable. It's lovely to walk them on the land behind the house. The house is a stylish, beautiful & very comfortable place to be as well! There's also lots to explore in the local area so we had a thoroughly lovely time.
Jeff and Nancy are super interesting and took great care to not only make us feel welcome in their beautiful home, but provided many opportunities for us to enjoy life on the island and to learn about life in a sustainable home. The chooks had a well organised routine and great personalities. Fresh eggs on a daily basis was a bonus. Thank you for a fantastic slice of island life.
Chase and Milo were so much fun. They are very well trained and obedient dogs. Chase is a large muscular dog but will sit and stay on command. Little Milo is pure adorability! I loved the cool downtown loft scene that Anthony has created and I felt fortunate to experience. Excellent affordable restaurant a few steps away. Highly recommend this pet sit to anyone.
I had a truly fantastic time in Newcastleton, James lives in the most idyllic of settings surrounded by stunning Scottish countryside, his home is beautifully designed and extremely well equipped. Woody is a wonderful dog, he has a lovely nature, is really well behaved and is great company. He loves his walks and we thoroughly enjoyed walking straight from the door onto the beautiful hillside and forest areas. James' neighbours are friendly, helpful and I enjoyed chatting with them during my stay. I felt really at home and was genuinely sad to leave Woody, he is still sorely missed. I would highly recommend house-sitting for James and would jump at the chance to return.
