The stay in Casiñas has been wonderful. Steve and Helen are lovely people and very generous. When we arrived they were waiting for us with food to share. For a family with children to travel through an animal care exchange is not easy, instead Helen and Steve accepted us with completetrust from the beginning. Children describe them as very kind and generous people. My children really liked meeting them, just like us. The animals are very easy to care for. The dogs, Betty and Wilma, are very calm and affectionate. A pleasure to share with them walks through the beautiful area of Casiñas. The goats are beautiful and they are also very easy to care for, my children have loved them. Natalie, the cat, very simple, independent and affectionate when it feels trust. The house is dreamy, with all the comforts and very spacious. Very comfortable. The environment and the landscape that surrounds the house more than beautiful, for me the nature of Casiñas is like a paradise. This has been our first experience in trustedhouses and we have really enjoyed it. We have a wonderful experience from this stay and from having met this family. We feel really grateful to Steve and Helen.
If you ever get a chance to house-sit for Christian and Ali, you're in for an amazing time! Private garden. Warm & friendly neighbours. Lidl 3 minutes walk (I went in my pajamas)! Board games galore!! Comfortable & cozy flat... and the best kitchen so far. Cristiano doesn't like cooking much and found the counters & space perfect for him. The location surprised us, as there were so many varieties of bars, pubs, cafes, shops, outdoor market areas, international food shops...the list is endless! We fell in love with the area and didn't need to go anywhere to have a good time - plenty to explore. Christian & Ali were very welcoming, funny and communication was easy despite the 12-hour difference! And Bertie...? A timid little guy who jumped at nearly every loud noise or sudden, bolshy movement, who transformed into the most handsome, loving and bold little panther once he settled with us. He would often make his way onto Cristiano's lap in the office, or snuggle with us on the couch. He is a loud purr-er and loves his chin 'scritched', always resting his face in my palm and falling asleep this way. He has a cat flap which means he disappears at night, and often we found him asleep with us in the mornings. THANK YOU both for choosing us to sit for you, would do it again if we have a chance in future. This is a home away from home!
Great peaceful place! Beautiful surroundings too. About 1 hours drive from LA city depending on traffic. We have had a fantastic time there, everybody is very friendly. Henry is a very easygoing lovely cuddly cat and we adored him. Whenever we had been off to LA for the day or afternoon upon our return Henry was waiting for us 🥰 and it was not necessarily for food as he sometimes had still food left, but just to be cuddled again 😊. We will miss Henry! Thanks again Cheryl and David for choosing us for this petsitting opportunity!
Dear Lesley, thank you so much for inviting us to your amazing house. We truly miss you. You are so warm and kind person. We felt like we have known you for years. We had an incredible time in one of the most beautiful parts of Italy, on the border of Tuscany and Umbria. The house was such a cosy and quiet place with the adorable garden. We visited multiple old little villages and castles around, and enjoyed beautiful landscape views. The food was so delicious everywhere we went. We have unforgettable memories about this place.
My stay with the girls (Peanut & Pokey) was enjoyable, relaxing and loved sitting poolside & reading, tossing the ball, & going for walks in a very nice neighborhood. Thank you Stephanie for choosing me!
David and Becky are kind generous people with a comfortable peaceful home. Jack and Sadie were great fun to sit. They are pretty mellow dogs who are really sweet once the get to know you and get very excited when the leashes come out. They like short walks checking out the smells of the neighborhood and will bring you on a different route each day. I would sit them again in a heartbeat!
