Anna
We loved sitting for Anna, Thomas and Pogo! Pogo is a lovely dog and very cheerful in nature. He was a great companion for our sit!

As we happened to be in London before the sit we met Pogo, and Anna and Thomas, at Kew Gardens. Pogo was instantly welcoming to us. Anna helpfully explained how to care for Pogo, about the house and area. She had a detailed guide with all the information we needed for the sit, and maps for suggested walks. Throughout the sit Anna and Thomas were great at keeping in touch, and contactable.

Anna and Thomas’ house is very well equipped with everything you need for your stay. We loved the kitchen, which was a fun place to eat. The cinema room is great for watching TV/movies, and giving Pogo cuddles in his favourite hangout room! We stayed in the guest suite, which was immaculate and very comfortable. Pogo slept peacefully every single night in his bed outside our room. We loved opening the bedroom door in the morning to find him wagging his tail happily when he saw us! We both work remotely and Anna made great efforts to ensure we both had space to work, which we were extremely grateful for.

Pogo thrives on having good daily walks. The River Thames is alongside the house, so you have an abundance of nature on your doorstep! There’s the leafy River Thames towpath, and recreational grounds where Pogo loves to chase/catch balls. Pogo loves running after balls as much as we all love our mobile phones! :) If you enjoy exercise, Pogo can help you! I ran with Pogo along the towpath and there are also cycles at the house. Pogo is a social dog and had a very good energy when greeting other dogs. He is well trained and responds well to a set of commands.

Kew Gardens is a lovely historic area. There’s a large food hall minutes from the house and other shops. Tube/train connections are under 10 minutes’ walk. We enjoyed exploring the area and neighbouring Mortlake. We had a fun day out with Pogo at the dog friendly Chiswick House & Gardens (highly recommended!).

We really enjoyed sitting for Pogo, his positive energy rubbed off on us! :-) We’d recommend this housesit to anyone reading!

It's always a pleasure to go back to a pet I sat before, like meeting an old friend, to see how everything's doing...... I'm very happy to come back for Phoebe. She immediately showed me that she remembered me, and loved to spend some time with me on the bed under the duvet, like the old way....... she's older and needs medication now but she's still the very adorable little one, always paying full attention to my food :D

Seeing the pet parents again is also delightful. Staying in a house and area which is familiar with is a blessing for a nomadic sitter. Definitely a happy sit overall.

Catriona
Many thanks to Catriona and Mark for making this house sit such a lovely experience. Their preparation was excellent and thorough and I was met with a very warm welcome. Their house was beautifully spacious as was the garden and Rupert was a gorgeous Cocker Spaniel with a lovely temperament who was great off the lead on the many varied walks only two or three minutes from the house.
The local village had a good, friendly pub with equally good food which provided a nice refreshment stop on the way back from some of our walks!
There are fields and parks to exercise Rupert's inquisitiveness and wooded areas for a bit of diversity, not to mention the very extensive garden with its mature trees and shrubs, a delight to wander round for both of us.
I had a lovely time there and have no hesitation in highly recommending this house-sit.

Amanda
My recent stay at Amanda and Sandy's home in Dorking, while they were away, was an absolute treat. From the first moment I met them I felt so comfortable and relaxed.

Amanda's culinary skills are great, every bite of the dinner she prepared was a burst of flavor and delight. The super delicious meal was complemented by engaging conversations that made the evening truly special.

Ziggy, the golden retriever, was a constant source of joy. His delightful presence made each day a happy experience, and I can't thank Ziggy enough for that! <3

Amanda's helpfulness and responsiveness added another layer of comfort to my stay. Whenever I needed something, she was there with a friendly and prompt solution.

Dotty's assistance and companionship made overall experience even better (Dotty, you are amazing!). I sincerely appreciate the genuine hospitality and care I received during my stay in Dorking.

Thank you, Amanda, Sandy, Dotty & Ziggy for creating such a memorable stay! <3

Michelle
I stayed at Michelle's house for a few days taking care of Chops. The house is a few minutes from the metro station and is a beautiful area with many independent places, each more beautiful than the other. Chops needs to take medicine twice a day, after which he sleeps mostly of the time. Michelle gave me all the information I needed, she invited me very useful videos with all the information for the medicines.

Linda & Dave were great hosts, super friendly and welcoming. Housesit is as described, plenty of jobs with the animals to keep you busy in the morning and evening. All the animals are great too. Really enjoyed my stay!
