This was a short stay for us, but even with just three nights we can highly recommend this sit and would love the opportunity to be back. Lynn is a very welcoming host and her beach house is in an incredible location. To be able to step out the door and be on the strand in less than a minute was amazing. Town was also conveniently close and only two blocks away. Charlie is such a great dog. She's very easy to walk and is sweet and affectionate. We learned quickly that a walk without a hoop is okay but a walk with her hoop is the best thing ever! She is not the only one who loved the hoop. We had so many people smile, laugh, and comment about what a great dog Charlie is. She's also very good about leaving her hoop and settling down inside. Thank you Lynn and Charlie for a great weekend in Manhattan Beach!
Truffle is the sweetest! I had fun watching her for a weekend in Oakland and going hiking at Reinhardt Redwood park (highly recommend a visit). Dominic and Mariana have a lovely home in a great area and were very welcoming and laid back.
Looking after the lovely Winnie was a pleasure. She’s a energetic, bright, loving and well trained dog so it was really enjoyable exploring Magnetic Island’s beaches and hikes with her. The cats were self sufficient and affectionate when they felt like some attention. Clarissa’s home is really comfortable with so many places to enjoy the perfect weather outside on the verandah and in her beautiful tropical garden. The late afternoons spent watering the plants and playing with Winnie were the perfect way to spend the day. It was a pleasure all round. Thanks Clarissa and Winnie!
Zelda and Dieter were amazing hosts. We arrived two days early and they showed us where to find everything. We had a great time together and drove them to the airport for their flight. What made the sit special were the beautiful (not only by appearance) cats. They were the most loving cats we ever had the pleasure to care for. They will forever be in our hearts. We had many a cuddling session initiated by them, which we will miss dearly. Also the location is spectacular if you enjoy a rural and quiet setting. When the weather permits the view from the living room goes on forever. As we work from “home” this was ideal for us. If you love cats and a quite setting you should jump at the chance to house-sit for Zelda and Dieter.
This was such a gorgeous sit with two of the cutest rabbits I've ever seen, a gentle and loving dog Parsnip and cool, cool cat. Doddiscombsleigh is a beautiful village and the house is very comfortable. Louise and her family were welcoming and communicated clearly at all times. A favourite place. Thoroughly recommend this sit.
We had a fabulous time at Ruhann and Mark's beautiful home, with their adorable pups, Charlotte and Emma. They are two of the most loving, friendly, and fun dogs we've ever met; they kept us laughing all day with their fun personalities and playful antics. We loved Charlotte's curious nature and eagerness to play, and Emma's gentle disposition with her adorable quirk — when you scratch behind her ears, she raises and shakes a leg! They such well behaved dogs; a true delight. The home is stunning, with large windows overlooking the city, river and mountains. For anyone who works from home, their office is a perfect place to get work done, and the best part is that the girls would keep us company wherever we were. It made work days go by much more quickly with the friendly company of Emma and Charlotte — we miss them so much already. Thank you Ruhann and Mark for sharing your girls and your home with us. We loved every minute and can't wait to spend time with Emma and Charlotte again <3

I have used Jonathan's dog minding services several times. We were very nervous to leave our puppy (who was 6 months old the first time) with a dog minder but Jonathan was great. We did a meet and greet a few weeks beforehand and it was obvious Jonathan genuinely loves dogs and our puppy was going to be in safe and experienced hands. Jonathan is really responsive and always kept us updated with photos and videos. I have referred Jonathan to my friends and family several times. He's brilliant.
Can't recommend Jonathan and Puppers Paradise enough. Going to doggie daycare with him has really helped our rescue gain confidence and get comfortable around other dogs. Jonathan is patient, reliable and flexible and an excellent communicator even sending through lovely videos of our dog playing with his new friends. The best thing is you can tell that he really cares about the dogs he minds
From the very 1st time that Pablo (mini dachshund puppy) went to Jonathan’s home for Daycare, he was completely at ease. It was very clear from conversation with Jonathan that he has an abundance of knowledge & a genuine passion for dogs. He has sent me videos at intervals throughout the day of Pablo at play with the other dogs & it was very obvious that Pablo was having a really great time! Pablo has been in Jonathan’s care quite a number of times to date & he is always very relaxed & happy when I collect him.
Bruno had his first night away from us at Puppers Paradise with Jonathan. A home from home environment. We received photos and video updates of the fun Bruno was having with all the dogs which was very reassuring to us. We were truly able to relax knowing he was in Jonathan's care.
My dog has been going here for years. She loves Jonathan and he brings out the best in her. It"s a home from home for her. I much prefer Pupper's Paradise to other kennels that I have used over the years because my dog is so well treated here. I have no hesitation in recommending this business.

Fiona made everything seemless and easy from the first phonecall. She is an absolute pleasure to deal with and apart from her fabulous manner with people and dogs she is so skilled and fantastic at what she does. My dogs were so engrossed with Fiona we were able to see fantastic results by the end of the first session. Fiona is prompt at coming back to you and shows up on time and sends on clear and comprehensive instructions. After the first session she was kind enough to send on helpful notes and resources and videos. I cannot recommend Fiona highly enough. Thank you.
Not reliable. Poor communication. Sent few emails, few weeks ago requesting dog service, I then received a reply few days later asking for more info about my dog. I then replied straight away but never received any response since then. I sent a couple of more emails after that, asking for an update but got complete ignored. I don't expect the service to be available for me but I would like to at least receive a response, so I can look somewhere else. I wouldn't trust leaving my dog with this company/person, due to the lack/poor communication.
Super service. Fiona came to the house and in no time had my French Bulldog doing things we struggled to do. Everything is explained in detail and we were given a total different route to training Larry and he picks up instructions now almost instantly. Fiona has made the next steps in training Larry so much clearer, quicker and easier. Excellent job I’d give more than 5 stars if I could.

We have been using pet sitters for the past 5 months or so a few times a week and they have been brilliant. Jessica our main sitter is outstanding and really looks after the dogs so well. We had an issue this week whilst on holidays abroad. A family member suddenly was unable to mind our pets and this happened while we were away. We rang Mike and he immediately at no notice at all sorted a live in sitter for the last few days of our holiday. James came to the house and took over and we couldn’t be happier with the care he gave. We are so grateful for this wonderful service. We would be lost without Mike and his team 🙌🙌

Amazing service! We had Valeria staying with our three dogs for just over a week and she treated them so well. They were really happy and relaxed when we came home after our trip. She communicated any concerns with us and sent us regular updates! We will be using this service again in the future. It's a great feeling knowing your pets are taken care of while you're not home.
I was nervous of the idea of using a Petsitter as we have typically relied on family previously. From the initial enquiry call from Mike, I was instantly relieved we had another option for our two dogs, one being reactive, kennels just isn’t an option. From the initial video call with our sitter, Chrissy, to get to know her, we knew our dogs were in really safe and capable hands. From the moment she walked in the door our dogs liked her. She took the time to ask about their habits and routines and what they liked. Sending photos and updates several times throughout the weekend where they looked lovely and relaxed. As a bonus our house was also looked after while we were gone. We couldn’t recommend this service enough and Chrissy for being brilliant! 100% recommend and will be using again, thank you for taking care of Scout and Pepper!
Very happy with the service we received. Davi the sitter kept in contact with us throughout the 9 days. Cats looked happy, healthy and importantly relaxed on our return. Davi sent us videos so we could see them and see that they were relaxed while we were away. This was our first time using Pet Sitters Ireland and we will definitely book again when the need arises. A real sense of relief to know out beloved pets are safe and in good hands.
Amazing service! Our little dachshund Daphne is nervous of strangers so we were extremely anxious to leave her while we got married. Michael the owner is so lovely and friendly, he really put us at ease and arranged everything for us. Daphne stayed with Paul & Jane who looked after her like she was their own dog. She settled in so well with Paul & Jane, it shows how gentle and caring they are towards animals. We got regular updates and they even travelled to our wedding ceremony so Daphne could be part of the day. It was so wonderful to have her there. We cannot thank you all enough for everything you have done for us and Daphne. We wouldn't hesitate to leave Daphne in your care again. We will be highly recommending you to everyone we know.
I had a wonderful pet sitter called Emilia. She was absolutely fantastic so kind to my cat Ozzie. She did an amazing job and is a credit to the company. In the run up to organising my trip the owner Mike and anyone I spoke to in the office were so nice and helpful. I am always nervous to leave my cat as he is an older cat but I wouldn’t trust him with anyone else. I got updates and photos and felt totally at ease that he had the best care. My dachshund Danann took part in the Nose of Tralee 2024 as the Kildare Nose and it’s been the most fun experience! Kate from Pet Sitters is a pleasure to work with and sent us out some lovely treats and a beautiful sash for Danann to campaign in! We had so much fun making videos, taking pictures and writing up a blog for Danann during and in the run up to the final of the competition! Kate kept the excitement and going for all of the Noses from beginning to end of the process! We had so much craic and would definitely recommend that our dog/cat loving pals apply next year!
Would strongly discourage using this service. I had a ‘meet and greet’ with a sitter who was booked to come and look after my pet. I didn’t hear from her on the day she was supposed to come nor was a pet care journal entry completed. I text to see if she had any issues and received no response. On the following day she contacted me directly to ask if her boyfriend could use my parking space when ‘they’ came over to walk my dog. I asked her again how was he previous visit as I hadn’t heard anything. She proceeds to tell me she never came because she had to go away and gave me the name of the girl who came in her place. I was not informed by anybody at the company that a stranger I had never met had been given the key code and access to my property. They had gone in and taken my dog out without me knowing and ever having met him. They had no instructions as to what he needs, where his lead etc. And food were. It was absolutely horrendous to think of a stranger entering your home and taking your dog out without your permission, never mind how stressful this would be for the dog. The manager eventually ‘text’ me an apology and said he had not thought to inform me that the sitter I had paid for was not available and he had supplied access instructions to another person without my knowledge/consent. I would not trust this service again. Have had to change my door code as I have no idea how many people know my access details now.
Arlo loves this place ! Goes most days and runs in and comes home exhausted from a great day she does have here with the staff and other dogs. I’d highly recommend people to use here. It’s a home away from home for your pets with a Piece of mind.
Left my dogs here for one week while on holiday they were very happy and looked well looked after when I collected them Karina seems like a lovely person from my experience and my dogs were happy and healthy when I arrived to collect them they were a bit smelly but that's sort of to be expected 🤣🤣🤣. Also got a few video updates and they looked extremely happy in them. Also one was extremely afraid of everything as we got her at 5months and I don't know what trama she experienced but was far more confident and relaxed coming home which was brilliant thank you so much guys 💖.
I left my dog here a few weeks ago and I’ve only got around to leaving a review Now. I left my dog in fidos and went away for two weeks and when i came back to collect my dog, it was skin and bone and the dog was fearful and I left lots of food for the dog and no food was returned and the dog was certainly not getting it. I would advise anyone thinking of leaving their dog here to think again and try to leave your dog with a relative or neighbour that likes dogs. Please don’t leave your dog here.!!!
Left our cat here for 1 week, His second time here (Now a new place ‘ Fidos4eva Kennels’) Very well looked after and Kerina & her husband Emmet are an absolute asset to this place. Really caring and kind animal people. Rang me to check in about our cat, ( who is fussy) very easy to reach by WhatsApp - I’m sorry about peoples past experiences with the previous place but I wish the absolute best for Kerina & Emmet with Fidos as our cat was really well looked after by them 🫶🏻🫶🏻
This is P&E Kennels rebranded (see #justicefornova) I boarded my dog there when it was P&E and filled in my phone details for contact in case of a problem for my dog. I recently was added to a fundraising whatsapp group by the owner, in which my phone details could be viewed by hundreds of strangers. I did not consent to my details being used. In terms of boarding kennels, my dog came home to us uninjured but frightened and reactive towards strange dogs. I would never send her there again.
*Edit* They've since rebranded AGAIN to "Fidos4eva Kennels" DO NOT leave your dogs here. DO NOT. I don't usually write reviews, but it's best to never leave your dogs here. Also, finding out that this is " P&E " rebranded, from the reviews solidifies everything. Don't bring your pets here.
Went and viewed hotel for pets and the kennels was spotless had my 2 dogs stay for 3 days and the dogs were well cared for paddy collected and dropped them back which was great service. Thanks kerina and paddy highly recommend to friends/ family!
This seems to be an attempt at rebranding by P&E Boarding Kennels following their previous scandal. I would suggest anyone leaving a dog here does a quick google search and match the address and business owners because it seems to be no more than an attempt to change the name after the dust settled and the adverse publicity died down.

The happy dog house is the most amazing place with the most amazing staff. My Rocky has been going since he was a couple of months old and he absolutely loves it. The staff are so kind and caring and genuinely love every single dog in their care. I can’t say thank you enough for looking after Rocky so well.

Very disappointed with this care, I got a call in a middle of my working day from one of the employee saying that our dog turn on on another dog for no reason, they didn’t see but assuming it’s our dog. Bear in mind there was never an issue with whomever he was playing and staying, only in this care all of a sudden! My partner had to left his job and pick him up immediately even tho the dog who was apparently “attacked” was totally fine! There was no explanation whatsoever from them except that out dog is GREAT but they cannot have him any longer, we basically got kicked out like a pile of trash. Horrible

I was nervous about leaving my baby Bobbi for 13 nights as she had never been left without us before and is very needy. Peter from the very beginning was so reassuring and asked me so many questions about her when first booking in which really put me at ease. He sent me regular updates and pictures throughout my holiday which I loved. Peter is a cat lover and that’s exactly what you want for your baby. You can trust him completely. Highly recommend! New Cattery although unfinished at present was functional, clean and will be really lovely when complete very soon. Our cat Basil was well looked after for the Christmas period.

This was the first time we used this facility, and will defo be booking my two cats in with Peter again. My female cat in particular was so relaxed and laid back while staying there. My tomcat was a little more reserved, preferring to stay in bed all day, typical male lol! They're back home and settled in already, usually from previously boarding cats, it would take a couple of days for them to settle. Goes to show how relaxed they were with Peter. He is the Irish version of Jackson Galaxy lol, true cat man! 🐈

Where to start, we found Peter and Little Lions and we went away for two weeks with peace of mind knowing that Smokey and Bandit were in good caring hands. Peter is amazing he keeps you updated on their moods eating habits and even checked in on them after we took them home. He really cares about all the cats in his cattery. We are already planning a trip away next year because we know we can go and enjoy a guilt free break thanks to Peter.
In October 2023, we visited Peter's 'cattery' to book our cat for the Christmas week. Contrary to what's portrayed on social media, the reality is starkly different. The 'cattery' is a shed with stacked enclosures on one wall, lacking natural light and proper ventilation, a detail conveniently hidden in his photos. Despite our reservations, and with no other options due to fully booked catteries, we proceeded with a full upfront payment, an unusual practice compared to only deposits required elsewhere. He might tell you he lets the cats out in his yard, but in our case, we told him not to do that, as our cat is not comfortable with strangers or other cats and scares easily. This is also a very unsafe practice. The enclosures vary a lot in size, Peter said he only had 4 bookings at the time for the week we needed, and he’ll give us one of the big enclosures. This was important to us, as some of the enclosures are way too small, no cat should ever stay in those, and you definitely need to see them before you put your cat in there. A few days before dropping our cat (late December), Peter got in touch to ask what our dates were again and if we had made the payment. All of that was confirmed and payment made the same day we visited his shed in October – obviously, he keeps no records. The day before going on our Christmas holiday, we took our cat to Peter’s house. Peter's demeanor raised concerns. On arrival, he appeared nervous and admitted to overbooking, claiming the shed was overcrowded, even having to resort to housing cats in his spare bedroom “because he was very scatty” - This rang serious alarm bells for us and he got very annoyed. Peter was reluctant to take us to the shed with our cat. When he eventually did, as soon as he opened the door, we were greeted by a very strong smell of cat waste. He showed us the two empty large enclosures and said those would be taken by two cats the day after (despite having said we were going to get one of the larger enclosures) He said the only space he had left was a tiny cage (because that’s all it was) on the ground behind the door. I had to literally get on my hands and knees to look inside. There’s no space in there for a bed and a litter tray. Total animal cruelty, pure and simple. Don’t be fooled by Peter’s apparent love of cats and how nice and well looked after his cats might be, it is clear he does not care about other people’s cats. He’s clearly in it for the money, cramming cats in everywhere and asking for full payment upfront. Your cat will be in a hellhole for his/her entire stay. Needless to say we took our cat and left. We didn’t say a disrespectful word to Peter, but on our way out he was abusive and threatened us, saying “don’t piss me off, you wouldn’t like it”. Despite requesting a refund several times, we received only insults and hostility. He very quickly deleted those messages, but we have copies – available on request. It's evident that Peter's priority is profit, not the well-being of the cats entrusted to him. His claims about his enclosures being comparable to DSPCA's are far from accurate. I strongly advise against leaving your cat here. Go view the place and judge for yourself. What appears okay in pictures is very deceiving, as it turns into a dark, poorly ventilated shed once the door is shut. And you will not know if you’ll get lucky and get a bigger enclosure or one of the horrid holes. And whatever you do, DO NOT pay in advance. Be cautious about the true conditions your pet might endure.
Literally amazing. I left my baby Guinness with his care while I was on holidays for a week. He communicated with me the whole time and understood all of Guinness’s route and what he likes and doesn’t. When we dropped Guinness off Sean was very welcoming and had a lovely area for the rabbits. The place was clean and tidy and all the rabbits seemed happy. Guinness had enough place for himself. During my whole holiday Sean kept me updated with Guinness pictures and updates on how he was getting on. Guinness does not like new people and is very scared of new people but Guinness was very comfortable there with Sean and after some time was very comfortable with Sean, it is very hard to get a rabbit to like you and trust you so it shows how well Sean was with Guinness that Guinness warmed up to Sean. When we collected Guinness he gave a big cuddle to Sean to say bye and Guinness seemed happy with his stay there. Sean is a lovely person and has a lot of knowledge about rabbits and their health. It’s very hard for me to trust people with Guinness but I would trust your rabbit with Sean. The price is amazing is well as a student it really helped me out but the way Sean took care of Guinness and provided food for him I would of payed more that’s how happy I was with his service. If you are looking for a trustworthy, educated about rabbits and a kind person to look after your bunny then believe me this is the place. I will definitely be keeping Guinness here my next holiday and using his grooming services. 🐰🐰
Sean’s bunny retreat is amazing. Iv left my two benny&daisy with him on multiple times that last year. He took great time with our first visit to show us where our buns would live and the set up he provides and was extremely patient and compassionate with any questions or worries we had. His set up is amazing, it’s so clean,tidy annd organised (no dander or hair everywhere the cages are clean). You can tell immediately that each bun is being cared for..ie getting time to free roam being fed etc.. Each time Iv dropped my two out every rabbit in there is happy and curious, it’s a beautiful environment. Iv never seen a bun cowering in a corner. They always come out to great the new comer.. it’s really really cute!!!and is really clear they all feel safe. When you go in he will introduce to all the buns he has and knows their personality as if they were his. He’s extremely passionate about our bunny baby’s and takes his job to another level of providing the best environment for them while they stay.. He has amazing knowledge of rabbits, this Is pretty clear anyway when you meet him, but when he picked daisy up to take her out of the carrier (she is a flight risk) she completely relaxed in his arms. That for me was a sign and put me completely at ease that he knows exactly how to deal & care for our baby’s. His prices are extremely reasonable for the service he provides. Sean has taken wonderful care of my two girls, and they were so happy when I returned home. They seemed to have enjoyed their time with him so much that they didn't want to leave! I would wholeheartedly recommend Sean to anyone who is concerned about leaving their bunnies while they are away. He truly goes the extra mile for them, and his genuine love and attention to detail are evident.
Sean is a great support and bunny-savvy professional when you need a fur babysitter. During my rabbit's boarding term, Sean looked after her in every way - nail clipping, grooming and vet visiting, not to mention his warm love, petting, and dedicated care to my baby all the time. My baby is a clingy type, and she requires lots of attention. Even though it is a needy bun, Sean can handle it so well! Sean is always your best choice if you need a bunny-boarding service. I highly recommend Sean to all bunny owners. :")
Would highly recommend Sean and Bunny Boarding Retreat. I had such peace of mind from his high standards, regular updates and very impressive knowledge about all things bunnies. I felt very reassured that my bunnies were in safe hands. Sean was friendly and approachable so I felt free to reach out for updates and check in as I needed.
Left my rabbit to be groomed with Sean on Tuesday. He is so nice and you can see he really cares about animals. Saw that Archie had a cut on his back paw which I hadnt noticed. Thanks Sean. Took Archie to vet and all good. My friend left her rabbit with Sean for boarding. She said he was excellent too.
I'll recommend to everyone! Sean's knowledge, love for bunnies and care he provides is absolutely exceptional! My bunnies love staying with him, he provides everything they need, and both myself, and my bunnies know they are in safe hands.
Edit: if you look at Gabriela’s review you can see the rabbit has barely any hay and iceberg lettuce…. My gut was right! Got an extremely rude message from Sean all because I commented on the fb page asking to see the set ups. When I went to reply I was blocked. Unable to PM, unable to email - my only options are instagram (don’t have) or WhatsApp (didn’t want to do) and I got called unprofessional for this…. I’d like to remind Sean that he’s the “professional” and I would have been the client and commenting politely on a fb page is not exactly unreasonable when we’re talking about our pets here. I just wanted to know what the set up was. It’s inexcusable that bunny owners cannot see where their bunnies would stay before booking. My biggest question now is WHY so secretive Sean? All the pictures on your fb and not one of your set up has me extremely concerned. I shall keep using my pet sitter for my regular long haul overseas trips. Your loss.
We had our rabbit Guiness here for a week and must say that he was so happy and well looked after. This is such a homely place to leave our Guiness there and we were so relieved than all the other boarding places in the past. The place is clean and well maintained.
